Great information especially about the Wise app. We were wondering the best way to do money. Living in Texas part of the United States we know all about hot 🥵 summers. Over 100 degrees Fahrenheit with 90% humidity. Can’t wait to see Rome.
How long you need depends on whether you want to "see" Rome, or whether you want to "learn" about Rome. I go every year for 2 weeks, and each year I learn more stuff.
wow, the video is very helpful and informative. Going to Rome tomorrow for the first time as Retired solo traveller from Malaysia. Been travelling since Dec 1 2022 to a few countries and next Italy. Truly appreciate your videos very much and found the videos are very straight forward with lots of information and makes me feel reassured landing in Rome tomorrow. Thanks a million and keep on making more videos during your travels guys. 🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much for all this information so helpful and we are even more relief now as we have a better idea where to stay ,how to get around and all of that
I'm happy I found your channel. I will be in Rome next year for 3 days in October. I am looking forward to viewing the rest of your informative videos. Thank you!
Thank you very much. And that "move" at 16:25 made my day ... just great. 😉We will be in Roma in April, so your tips are appreciated. Greetings from Germany.
We are going on a cruise in 2025 that will start in Civitavecchia. We are flying in 2 days early to see some main sites in Rome. I have been so overwhelmed and nervous about planning this as I literally know nothing. This video has been a God send! I feel so much better and plan to watch all of your videos! How far in advance should I be booking those "Skip the Line" tickets. I am sure 2 years is too early but I want to make sure I get in and get them as my wife's main priority is the Vatican!
Love you guys. I plan on visiting in September 2023 for 5 days. I am a solo traveler and love to walk and don't mind walking to the city center. My budget for hotel is $150 a night. Can you recommend small boutique hotels?
Thank you so much! You can check this post that we have on our website there are a few option there for you: readysetitaly.com/where-to-stay-in-rome-italy/
Hello, This video has been very helpful during the planning of our trip to Italy, thank you. Please may you help with advice on weather the area around the Cipro metro station, near Vatican City is a safe area to stay? Many thanks
I've been to Rome 5 times, and I agree completely with these guys. on the point of how many days you need: Take your time and accept that you simply cannot see everything in one visit. Come back!
Hello. Would you be able to suggest a good sim or phone & Wi-Fi plan for our one month-long vacation bin Italy and other major cities in EU? Thank you!
Rome is quite safe in the city center, there are always so many tourists around. Just avoid anyone that want to give you something for free because they are scammers. If you take the metro watch out for your belongings especially when the train is packed
for me the galleria Borghese, for the sheer quality of the collection, although I also really enjoyed the national museum. If it is accesible the domus aura is amazing.
@@TravelAddictsLife thanks guys... my wife and i are going next spring and coming back just before easter sunday. is it better to explore without a tour group for day trips to amalfi from rome and pisa/cinque terre from florence..?
Hi, guys. Thank you so much, great content. May I ask why are you saying that train is the cheapest when I have found some sites saying how bus can cost even much less? We are a family of four so we like to save money when and if we can. We are coming on Friday. Yes!!!! Can't wait.
Thank you Dijana, trains are the cheapest for convenience, busses sometimes do take longer and they might make many more stops. That is what we meant! Let us know how you like Rome. Also you can check out our Free things to do in Rome Video to seer a lot of stuff that you can see and do in Rome totally free!
Lovely channel, great content but I’d like to know why even non-americans make videos mostly for american visitors? Why would the rest of the world convert their money “back” into US dollars? Why are all “culture shock” videos are for americans? That’s hilarious. I can understand americans making such videos because they think the world is US and others. But a Canadian and an Italian guy doing this, along with many other channels is absurd.
Thanks for your comments! I completely agree that as a non-US person, content that assumes you’re American might be odd. However, considering that 94.77% of our viewers are from the US, we cater to that segment.
Thank you so much for these videos! You have made me feel more comfortable to do italy in my own 😊
I love the water idea for toilets
Thank you 🙏 let us know how your trip goes

Have you got any safety videos for solo travellers

Qual è il museo più sorprendente di Roma ? Il Museo Nazionale Romano talmente grande che ha 4 sedi, tutte estremamente interessanti.
for me the galleria Borghese, for the sheer quality of the collection, although I also really enjoyed the national museum. If it is accesible the domus aura is amazing.
Im watching always. 💚🌍
Thank you Noël 🙏🏻
Great video. Planning to go around mid January. Tickets look cheap. Will it be a bad idea?
Thank you for your comment! Rome in January is good 😃

any reccomendations on getting coin euros... my bank only gave me bills and I use the bathroom alot...?
Thanks for your comment Roy. Probably the best way us to buy a bottle of water at a coffee shop and use the bathroom

You mentioned nice cheap mobile phone data. Which company would you recommend?
We use Tim and works really well

Penso che il modo più economico per arrivare a Roma sia il taxi! Questo perché il treno per Termini è dannatamente lento.
Ma con il traffico anche io taxi a volte ci mette una vita

Are there fake transfer ppl at fco? How do you know the real ones?
The real taxi are white and they have the sign taxi on top. Also from fco you can take the train to the city center. We have a video about that
@@TravelAddictsLife Thank you :D I will go looking for it. You both have been so helpful!
