    We are two Canadians currently living in Italy. We moved to Italy in November 2018 to start a new chapter of our life's and we would like to share our story with. We hope you enjoy it.

    About us:
    In March 2017, Rick and Andrea (confessed Travel Addicts) started a Facebook Group called Travel Addicts as a way to share their travel photos and videos not just with their own respective friend's lists - but with the world. Part of the reason was for bragging rights (I mean, that’s kind of the point of sharing photos, right?), but also to help answer questions to others about the destinations they have visited.
    After inviting some of our friends and family, it grew and grew - and as of June 2019, the group has grown to over 200,000 members! One reason for our success, we believe, is that we have done our best to ensure only high-quality photos and videos get shared, all while limiting the use of commercial content.

    Just wanted to say thank you. My wife and I visited Italy earlier this year, and watching your videos ahead of time was a tremendous help in planning our trip.

    Really enjoyed your video! Thanks for sharing. I am confused though. I have been reading that that coin should be thrown over your left shoulder into the Trevi Fountain. I want to get this right lol

    We had some in our group where walking was an issue so we took a golf cart tour and it was perfect! A great way to see most of the best sites all at once. Thanks for these tips!

    Two years ago we took your advice before we visited Sardinia and Rome followed. We (as Canadians) were able to visit before the crowds returned and we saw most of the popular sites then. We are presently in Cefalu, Sicily but are returning to Rome next month. We are fortunate to have a friend who is a Roman historian (he actually wrote "The Families who Made Rome-A History and Guide by Anthony Majanlahti) and we will be enriching our five day visit by staying on Riu Giulia and looking for the remaining clues to this fascinating approach to the history of Rome. Love your channel! :)

    My wife and I love your videos! You've been so helpful for our upcoming Mediterranean cruise in February. You said in the description that you're both Canadian, however Andrea sounds like he has been in Italy for MANY years, where as Rick haa a more North American accent. Can't wait till the next video!

    I visited Rome in february 2011 and planning to go back in early 2025; should I expect long waiting lines if I do not buy tickets in advance if I go again in february ?
    After seeing the Mouth of Truth, if you have the time, just peek behind the church, there is the Circus Maximus. Not much to see but well worth it I think, just to have an idea of how big that place was. This is the type of place where chariot racing was held (remember Ben-Hur famous horse race).

      Thank you 🙏 lines in February are not as long but still it is recommended to get tickets in advance.

    Very useful video. Is there anywhere in Roma Termini Station where you can purchase a Roma 48 hour ticket? My understanding is that this can be used on the buses and metro.

    Another great video thank you. Most apt as we hope to have 2 days in Rome next April. We have seen a YT video of going to the Vatican in the evening. It looked much quieter,no queues and was free entry to some areas. Are you aware of this?

    • @TravelAddictsLife
      @TravelAddictsLife  7 місяців тому +1

      Yes we have done it twice, both times including drinks. It is fun, if you have the opportunity do it.

      @@TravelAddictsLife ua-cam.com/video/DnDEDJOyTyc/v-deo.html this video appears to show a free evening trip to the Vatican. The
      last Sunday of the month is free for some sites. Unfortunately the guy who posted this didn't say if it was a free Sunday. Some websites say the entrance to st P's basilica is free of an evening. Here's a challenge for you wonderful guys! See if you can get free early evening entry to St P's Bas (closes at 7pm); I'm sure you could do it without spending a dime!
