    After watching this video you will know how to pick the right monitor for photo or video editing.
    When comparing displays we can consider factors like size, resolution, panel types, and color spaces.
    Another important aspect is what devices are you planning to connect to the monitor.
    Most displays come with a normal HDMI and Display Port Input, but this ASUS ProArt monitor also has the mini Display Port which can be useful for older Mac hardware.
    Or if you are planning to get a MacBook in the future it may make sense to look for a monitor that in addition also has the Thunderbolt/USB-C.
    In my opinion, this ASUS monitor has very crisp colors and a good brightness level.
    The direct control knobs at the front are another added benefit because it makes changing monitor settings easier.

      @@friendlyneighborhood7600 Most people have the following problem, either you get the expensive Apple Studio Display 5k, or you buy a monitor from a different brand, but those only have WQHD or 4K resolution.

      @@friendlyneighborhood7600 Both are lower and Mac is optimized for 5K, if you use a WQHD monitor things may look a little small and if you use a 4K they may look a bit too big.

    Thanks for the video. Is there a lot of difference in brilliance and colors between the Asus monitor and the MacBook screen? I am undecided between IMAC 24 or Mac Mini M1 with this Asus monitor. The price of IMAC is higher, but maybe it's worth it?

    I just bought this monitor. I'm a little behind the times and I hope you can answer a simple question. I am using the HDMI plug cable to connect to my computer. when I turn on the monitor it says on the screen VGA NO SIGNAL then this warning disappears. Am I needing to connect another cable? I'm all plugged in to a new Dell ready to turn it on, but want to make sure I have a monitor image before setup.

      When did you buy your current monitor? Because VGA D-SUB was common in the late 90’s and early 2000’s but was then replaced by DVI when LCD displays became popular.

    what is the difference between CV and QV of ASUS naming convention?

    • @ReviewTechTV
      @ReviewTechTV  10 місяців тому +1

      The ASUS ProArt PA278CV has different monitor inputs such as USB-C, if you have a MacBook using USB-C to connect a monitor would be a good idea.

    • @ReviewTechTV
      @ReviewTechTV  10 місяців тому +1

      The ASUS ProArt PA278QV from the video for example has DVI and mini DisplayPort inputs which is somewhat older and more of a special case.

    • @ReviewTechTV
      @ReviewTechTV  10 місяців тому +1

      In conclusion I would say the CV is a more modern choice!

    - I have a macbook 2018 15 inch which has USB C inputs. Does this monitor come with display port to USB-C adaptor? and if it comes with it, will it charge my MacBook along with the display?
    - How is it compared to Dell P2721Q ?

      I have bought the pro art monitor. this monitor doesn't have usb c port . After some research I found that you get usb-c to HDMI or usb-c to mini display adaptors to connect to your MacBook . If u want to connect via HDMI to USB C adaptor, this will also charge the MacBook . However, I feel this doesn't matter in long run. Can use their inbuilt connectors rather i.e the HDMI to HDMI or display port to display port.
