  • Today I help you understand the key differences between a sprain and a strain.
    ✅ Sprains are associated more with injury to ligaments and capsular tissue.
    ✅ Strains affect softer tissues like muscles and tendons.
    ✅ Typically, strains heal faster than sprains.
    ✅ Strains are more common with overuse and overstressing soft tissue whereas sprains more often occur with trauma.

    strain = soft tissue = muscle and tendon (muscle strain)
    sprain = ligaments (ankle sprain)

    Heel pain where lateral aspect of achilles tendon meets the heel bones. Strain right?

      I injured myself and wonder how long it takes to heal that. Connective tissue I think
