TIGHT SPOT - SCARY SLOT LANDING A PARAGLIDER IN FRANCE- FULL VERSION

Gday everyone. Guess what? I had two attempts to make a big treed crossing from the Hoéville launch. I didn't think I was high enough the first time, so I flew back to launch to gain more height. The second time I thought the same thing, but when I tried to push back to launch, the wind had strengthened considerably. I had seen this landing option on my first attempt but didn't think I would need it. I always get out of my harness early. If anything happens, I would prefer to try to land on my feet and save my back. Better off breaking your legs than your back. I had to get back into my harness close to the ground to use the speed bar to penetrate. The trees were too close for me to land on the road. I would have clipped a wing tip. In hindsight, I should have pushed back on my first attempt. I would have made it easily with the 30-40km wind aloft and flown far. Go with Seb! You live and learn.
