This was more devastating than I imagined, what do you think?
Check out the newer version ua-cam.com/video/ciKRgYxMIqY/v-deo.html
A club that can accelerate along it's path? Yeah, I don't want to be hit by that.
There's a good reason whips were used for punishing crimes.
I think that I'll never do what ever those veggies and other items did to deserve that punishment. It'll leave a mark. OW
Is this for your new bride? Lmbo. Congratulations
You should watch Hard To Hurt’s video on the use of tactical whips. Quite interesting how useful they are. Great video man Love your content!!!!
I am very impressed with the damage it did.
I remember as a kid getting a little leather whip at a fair . I went home and was whipping all the other kids with it and my mom taking it away and beating me with it . I’m 56 and she gave it back to me when I turned fifty . I still got it thanks to mom .
Haha crazy stuff mate, lessons learned
Good Mom
@@anonamemous6865 I AGREE 👍 💯
Back in the day we used 5x4mm² steel mantle Electric cable, leftovers from the building site..
Btw dutch arms law 1919 art 9,defines about anything as a weapon....
Я вот не пойму зачем вы хлестали детей всех подряд? Они вас обижали , что-ли?
I have been making 'tactical whips', or 'stingers', to order, for years, utilizing different diameters of plastic-jacketed stainless steel cable. The power of this simple, inexpensive and LEGAL self-defense weapon cannot be underestimated.
Really are so powerful
@@TreborTnemorf Probably not, unless you are of North African or Middle Eastern origin...apparently, carrying a marmalade spoon is illegal in GB.
@@CAwolfguy You can't even use words for self defense in GB, lol, it would suck living I that totalitarian nightmare.
@@MorganaRavenheart Our rulers want that for all Americans as well...with everyone they allow to live living under the heel of the globalist elites.
Just curious as to what you charge.
Many years ago I would make things we called Spreaders for snaking logs out of the forest. I would use a tapered I.D. steel sleeve and 19mm Wire Cable and fray the end of the wire and pull it down into the sleeve. Then pour a resin into the frayed end and when it hardened it would never come out. I like what you made and might try to make me one. Thanks and super job.
As a machinist for 30 years i love that DP put the chuck key in the chuck.
It triggers so many people
@@DiesInEveryFilm No safety glasses on the belt sander also triggers people. And rightly so. We just care for your eyesight.🙂
I inherited a baton from my great-grandfather, consisting of two springs that are welded together, can be extended telescopically and are fixed in a 20 mm cartridge. Great piece and already easily 50 to 60 years old...
Would have been a trench club i recon mate
It's a rarer version of a trench jack called a springjack, or a "micro-springjack" since it's telescopic. They are not legal with metal tips because of the sheer power of those springs. EDIT: you officially have a very unique paperweight as a conversation piece.
That is neat and unique! In a 20mm cartridge as well?! That is awesome! You should make a UA-cam short about it!
@@dspsrecedinghairline not legal where? Jurisdictions matter, lots of places you can carry any weapon you want without a permit.
Very satisfying to observe highly skilled craftsmen in their trade. Nicely done mate.
Thank you very much
Except when he put the chuck key back in the chuck at the end.
Very unsafe!
OOOoooo, thank you for that tube at the end! I did one whip myself too and welding the tip of the steel rope was so hard. Next time i wil degrease it and use a tube at the end!
Learning all the time 😁
Beautiful look! The splatter of the last can was impressive in how it covered that black board in the background.
Thanks mate, seriously more effective than I thought
Profound respect to the makers and creators of this world. Dies, you have remarkable talent, and thank you for sharing your creations with us. Cheers and all the best.
Thank you so much I really appreciate comments like this
I admired your skill in the machine shop and loved watching you make the whip.
Very nice work, with a bit of humor which does not spoil anything, and above all in safety (goggles, cap, mask). Well done
(with google translate)
Fantastic build. That whip is awesomely wicked. Congratulations on your special day. Podcast was brilliant. Wishing you two a long and happy marriage. You both deserve it. Cheers mate 🍻
Thanks so much mate I really appreciate it
My 80 year old wife still likes the simple spiked chain whip . I prefer the shoe lace and feather whip .
I never saw a practical use for these (legal issues aside) until I met an old biker (lets call him Jeff). He had tassels on his bar end maybe 10-12" long. One of the other riders happened to have one too many and not only singled out Jeff but in particular his leather tassels. One thing led to another and it tuned out one of the leather tassels had a 1/4" piece of cable running the last 8" or so and he had a quick release that had it in his hands in seconds. It was quite the formidable weapon.
Really are more effective than I thought
Get back straps.
I've made a couple of variations of that, one has a 4" steel blade like in Johnny Mnemonic. wicked skills man, thanks for the share!
I like the sound of that man, thanks for watching
Hahaha I enjoy your subtle humor, nice to see you having fun in the shop.
Glad to hear mate thank you
I made one similar to yours, the handle is a piece of hard wood with a hole in one end. I put some clear gorilla glue in the hole then slid one end of cable in the hole and let the glue harden. I learned not to have the cable too long because if comes back and hits your knuckles, it really hurts.
Yes you need to plan out the length with thickness to avoid any self injuries, the length and thickness i chose was perfect
What would be the ideal length
@@Howardtripper depends on thickness
Mate the comedy value of your videos is brilliant, skilled production too. I would watch the spring back on that bad boy, side swipe looks like the best use. Easily a bone breaker that one. Hope the wedding went smoothly, congratulations. Thanks for the video
Really means so much getting comments like this, I really appreciate it
I'm a retired sheet metal mechanic and I have built a few things in my life, Man I so enjoyed watching that ,,,,
I really appreciate it, new video up Saturday
Absolutely awesome man !! And love your sidekick being dead pool!!! Thank you !!
Thank you so much I really appreciate it
Very good craftsmanship and great attitude and humor
Thank you, I really appreciate it
Definitely Devastating . Great idea for close encounters . I had a 13 foot leather whip at one time . I could snap bark off of trees with it , great fun . And no I never hit myself with it . Had a good teacher . Thanks for sharing Stay safe .
So brutal, thanks very much buddy
Zorro
Yep,This guy has a natural talent for this.Wow,Awesome to watch.
Thanks so much I really appreciate it
As a person that use to use whips in a past job when I saw this I got so excited 😂
Damn that's a good build , well done man
Thanks very much
That thing is mean. I would not want to be on the business end of that. These shows are getting better and better. The videography has come a long way. You should be proud. Congratulations again!
Thanks mate, im really loving making this stuff for you all and so glad you are seeing improvements as well
I'm from Sri lanka. Ur technology , tools and arrangement has very efficiency. Really amazed , good luck
Thanks very much
Saw another video where a guy puts one end into a drill and then heats the cut line with a torch. He slowly twisted to tighten the threads and eventually created a smooth welded end as it popped off.
Congratulations! I hope you two live very long and happy lives together! Mazel Tov!
Thank you so much
I had something like that hidden in a cane. Instead of a cable, it was made from a heavy duty stainless steel spring with a large piece of steel at the end. It would most likely kill whatever you struck with it
Cool stuff
First time viewer and now I am subscribed keep up the good work I like this stuff
Some dialogue would have been nice, but u built a work of art! Very good skills, that whip was so beautiful!!!
This guy has a tool shop that is awesome, and not only that he uses all of them incredibly well 😀.
.
I really appreciate it
It looks like something a James Bond bad guy's henchman would be brandishing every time he's on camera.
Hahahahaha definitely
Thanks bud, I got all basics in shed now to build this n maybe 10 with length of steel cable I got hanging around.
Oh for a shop equipped liked yours, and the knowledge to use the tools. 👍🦅😎🇺🇸
Lots of hard work went into getting those tools and I’ll keep going till i have everything i need
Awesome. Fantastic defense tool BTW.
I remember reading about car antennas being used as improvised weapons back in the AM radio days when they were longer and often had the big coil at the bottom. Always figured that would hurt like hell to get hit with.
I remember being hit by one when a friend had one haha
What about smaller diameter contoured finger grip handle that could be latched into a belt or something. A quick release from your waist or shoulder strap from backpack. Self concealment. YEAH MAN!
I went to a rough inner city high school. I remember seeing a guy with a "whip antenna" trying to bring it into school. When asked why, he said "I heard there was going to be trouble today". Life in the big city.
Watch Rumble in the Bronx.
@@DiesInEveryFilm howd that feel? Did it make u wanna say "thank you sir. May I have another?" Lol
It just needs a 12mm ball bearing welded to the end of the steel cable whip my friend! Excellent video!
No need as i welded a cap which is more than enough
That ball bearing is the difference between a "non-lethal" defense tool and a deadly weapon.
@@BillyWitchDoctorDotCom i don’t think people understand that these are non lethal tbh
Bravo 👏Beautiful whip! Greetings from the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA 👊Thanks for sharing.👍
Thank you very much
Beautiful craftsmanship!
I subscribed!
:D
Thanks very much lots of new videos coming
That thing is F#cking lethal mate! Nicely done, I must try and make something like this in future just like that excellent trench club you made. One thing I've been thinking about lately is a chainsword. Use to lean towards internal combustion but now with advances in lithium ion batteries and the crazy torque fron electric motors I'm leaning toward electric. Also leaning towards a solar powered workshop for cheapness in the long run
Thanks so much for watching mate
You may want to evaluate pneumatic tools buddy. A good tank, quick connections all over the place, tons of heavy duty hoses hanging from the roof and my take is you could save money. And if you run the compressor with solar, even better.
Very nice work, sir.
A thought occured to me that it may be possible to create a tactical whip which can be threaded through belt loops, hidden by a belt and then essentially 'concealed carried' around the waist.
Thanks very much and yeh they already exist
That is badass bro. Nice work
My father had something similar more or less thick steel rope with a taped off handle and welded at the end he worked in the pubs as a spark in the 60s and 70s in Glasgow Scotland so quite rough one on the knuckles or arm would do a hard one round the kidneys for the more persistent
Simple design, clean look! Awesome build but it looks scary lol.
Yeh man, thank you
A sword smithy I'm well acquainted with made something a lot like that as a very limited run. It was the same cable, but sword-length and hidden in a walking stick like a sword cane, as hiding a length of steel cable is a lot more legal than hiding a sword. Just the thought of getting hit with something like that makes me cringe.
That sounds pretty cool, nice job
I actually just found a piece of cable like that in a field in the grass, and I had this exact project in mind for it.
Perfect
Great video 🔥 that was very high quality.
Yes, when do you have time to do such cool projects??? it's impossible! Thank you friend for your hard work!!!
I honestly don’t know haha but it’s lots of work
@@DiesInEveryFilm but, good clean fun at the same time.
Those tactical whips are nasty.
Hard2hurt did a bunch of videos testing them out and came to the conclusion they're likely the best pain comliance tool out there
Wouldn't say thay too loud.
Yeh man I actually watched that when doing research for this build
@@cavelvlan25 underrated 🤣😭
Great craftmanship bro!
Ahh yes! 😂 I remember jewelry class in high school I got into some trouble fabricating weapons because I tried to make brass knuckles so the teacher made me make them too small to fit on a hand like for a chain or something
No safety goggles? :) Amazing video! Love your skills, craftsmanship and attention to details!
Thanks very much for watching

As Devo would say, “I say whip it. Whip it good. Crack that whip.”
Classic
Some great wood turning there, finish was excellent. I think the cabbage and coconut stood up to it well, for the first whip anyway😆😆
Is that how your going to cut the cake today??
Good luck to both of you from Spain!!
Thanks mate im definitely getting better at it, ill be using the Spanish knife for cutting cake

Thank you
That's a lovely bit of kit. Not for me to say that squaddies wouldn't use that in place of a length of twin and earth back in the day.
Thanks for showing what it can do to a coconut. Slashing through a can is one thing, but that's a surprising amount of force for a coconut. Was that a Brazilian hardwood you were using for the handle?
Really surprising how powerful it is
Taliban people might copycat.
Pardon my ignorance, but what was that blue liquid you soaked the cable in, and what was the purpose of the soaking? Just found your channel and subscribed, awesome stuff!

A cable bike lock works pretty good.
Also those little cable locks they give you when you buy a gun.
Then you are sorted
Yeah ... but ... wait. You have a gun. Why would you use the lock for defence?
