I have an easy hack for keeping my pistol safe in my car, it's called a holster and I keep it on my hip that way my gun is safe as well as myself even when I leave my vehicle!

You're telling me no one has gone about on the old school house door trick of drilling a hole into the top of your average interior door to insert a money/valuables stash inside it anymore? Seriously, old school method was to drill out a section at the top of the door and insert a film tube to be glued into place since no one checks the tops of doors for anything.
My ex-mother-in-law's sister _(say that 10 times fast!)_ used to come over and swipe her hand on the tops of doors and picture frames looking for dirt and dust....She would have found it. _Needless to say, l never had her over again_

The head rest is the last place I would hide anything in the car. so easily removed and carried. No compartment is secret when installed by the manufacturer.
It's not removable. Installation instructions show the reason
@@user-vr8tf5oi6u The head rest is removable, right. If not, then it becomes a safety issue. One of the functions of the head rest is you can remove it from the seat and break the glass to get out of the car.

Depending on the state you live in, each hiding place for a firearm will get you arrested, and your carry license revoked. In Pa even if you have a carry permit you can not have a firearm within reach. In my case my edc is a 454 casull revolver 6.75 inch barrel, which shows a bulge with a t shirt on. So if i get the police called on me while in public the cops may ask me to conceal it better or change my edc.
So,how,exactly does the permit work?
In Pa the sheriff's department says with a concealed carry permit your firearm must be concealed in a way that won't cause fear or danger in the public's eyes. So by having a pistol right beside you lets say on the passenger's seat, that's not concealed. Glove compartment ok.@@murphy4yt
