I feel like smashing cinder blocks with that thing would be extremely satisfying.
Yeh it definitely would be mate haha, I tried to get some but no chance in this pandemic
Thanks for the help! My abusive dad didn't stand a chance!
Glad to know
NGL this one actually looks pretty historic. For newer people back in WWI and WWII no two trench clubs were ever alike cause they were put together with whatever soldiers could find and they really caused serious damage.
Yeh man, got another trench club build coming soon
I guess you could say it would give the enemy a splitting headache
@@garethalford682 definitely

Yeah I wouldn't wanna get smacked in the head with that. Quite terrifying Onur! Awesome job :D
Hahahahaha it feels so nice to wield. Thanks for watching, I actually just finished watching your latest video, cool hammer

Very cool I have never thought I could weld braided cable like that always love to learn a new technique
Yes mate it welds nicely but you just got to make sure you pull the weld from the steel to the wire so not to burn the thin strands.
Throughout the build I was asking myself what you would use this for, then you demonstrated making coleslaw! Lol. Nice build.
Hahahahaha yeh

15:26 The wife said to make a salad! It just took me 5 hour's this time 🤣
Well next time she should do it herself
That's the trick, first time she asks you to do it you do it so poorly she'll never ask again.
Nicely done! I think my kids would approve of this build so long as I promise to let them help make my famous Trench Club Salad when their friends come over.

Thanks mate, I actually have a mace build up as well

I also like the night watcher flail build
Ill have more stuff like that coming up eventually
Perfect trench tool! I gleamed several good tips from this build! I liked how you taped both sides of the cable between your cuts to keep it from fraying, also liked your oil bottle for storing your handle oil! I appreciate these kinds of build videos! Thanks for schooling me! Cheers
Thanks very much for watching dude. I like to show the odd tip ive learned in videos in hope people can use them so im glad you can.
"and this is how you make a salad.. build a trench club!" nice work. awesome video.
Hahahahaha everyone should have a trench club to make salad
I don't think I have ever subscribed to a channel so fast before
Hahahahaha brilliant mate. Thank you
I’ve got bad memories from thin copper and a lathe. The thinner the copper the more aggressive it gets. Great video, and nice job on the handle.
It’s a pain to part. Thanks mate
Someone pls send this man a lathe parting tool, love your work not hating in the slightest ❤️
Hahahahaha i need to order one mate, been a while since i used the lathe and I thought i had one. Cheers mate
Love it... a tenderiser.. be it meat or someone's attitude
Hahahahaha multitool then

Tremendous! The polish on the brass piece made it something else! The day will come when I get this guy to make me a kitchen knife!
Thank you, i have more stuff like this coming and im going to make another one of these but with a little twist.
Towards the end I was saying out loud now smash something with it, come on do it. My wife looked over and asked why you were smashing vegetables and said why is he doing that, I just said because he can. Lovely club, never saw something like it before and I'd never want to be on the bad side of it personally. Thanks Mate, great vid!
Hahahahaha well at least it’s me you were watching and shouting smash to hahaha. Thanks for watching mate
You savage, those vegetables didn't do nothing to you, they had a mother you know
They looked at me funny
It's beautiful man. Every car (and trench) needs one.
Thanks buddy, yeh they sure do.
Am I the only one slightly disappointed that he didn't unpick a few inches of the cable, and run it the full circumference of the ball, before welding it at both top and bottom; creating a series of ridged surfaces around the circumference, similar to a flanged/winged mace...?
Still AWESOME! I subscribed!
No because it’s a trench club not a mace or a flail or anything, check them out they have a cool story. Thanks
Anybody else get that A-Team theme song in their heads when he uncovered that machine?

@@DiesInEveryFilm That would have been an enrichment! I lived 2 years in L.A. and the Afro-American with all the gold chains lived in the same street. Often met him when I walked the dog or in the supermarket. Extremely kind man. Assume he is 2m tall, like my brothers. His voice is the deepest I ever heard. So much hard work paid off mate.
I really want to stay in this channel as long as I can.
Yeh man. Thanks so much dude. Ill keep the videos coming
You should make a collapsible/expandable baton next for a project cuz that would be dope af.
Unfortunately illegal mate, I just make stuff that people order
Holy shit. As a machine operator it’s bad ass to see this done with a lathe. Well done bruh 👏
Thanks mate, i try different process to make things so it’s more entertaining for people

I just looked up videos for this very thing yesterday, how fortuitous.
Oh nice mate great minds
That had to have been hell to clean up lol
Hahahahaha it always is mate the stuff goes everywhere
1. That jig you used to find the center is amazing! 2. Sell these to truckers for tire thumpers
Im planning on making some tyre thumpers very soon
The trench club is the best example of the "war never changes" line from Fallout. In a war with airplanes, tanks, and machineguns men were still bludgeoning each other with clubs.
Oooooh, I want one! Don't know ,Why, But I want one!!!! Lol!
Hahahahaha just something fun about it
Great project. When squirting out the epoxy you must never let the streams cross.. From the ending, you hated it when your Mom made you eat your vegetables and this is your revenge.. How about making a 2 meter long iron shod quarter-staff to encourage "social distancing" ? Thank you for the video, Onur. Stay safe

Hahahahaha yes man do it. Thanks for watching
Awesome!!! It’s not only handy in trenches.... but also in the kitchen!!!
Modern day multitool.
The way you put that tape down was incredibly satysfying.
Hahahahaha good stuff mate
I need one of these to crack eggs for breakfast.
Ill make you a tiny one
Reminded me of the "Trench Raider" class in Battlefield 1! Except the raider had spikes on the end instead of a ball... Good stuff man
Thanks mate, not seen that ill have to look
That was a great video man! No wonder I subscribed. I wish Walmart carried one of these. I really need to show my wife how to prepare a salad in stye.
Hahahahaha maybe one day walmart will and then this video can help people prep food as well
Your work is impeccable and it gets me through a lot of long nights at work. I would like to see you make and aluminum bo staff that can come apart into pieces.
Thanks very much, not really something I would make as it’s a bit too simple of a build which really isn’t very popular here unfortunately.
Nice one, Thought I recognised that lathe
Hahahahaha yes mate you definitely did
15:23 brought up some scary memories

His wife: Babe make the side salad !!
Him : Alright ! 15:14
Hahahahaha funny you should say that, our Christmas dinner making went a similar way not long ago
I love the wind up and wind down of your lathe in the video, its like some one trying to whistle with multiple tones.
That's one way to toss someone's salad... LOL!!
Haha oh yea
15:10 "screw- these- veggies- get- me- some- meeeeeat"
I wouldn’t waste meat
we all know he made this to take to the pub when things get outta hand!
Hahahahaha shame I don’t goto pubs or drink
Question?
What is the purpose of the braided cable?
I am guessing it isn't to make it into a very short flail.
Please explain why it was added because the design with out it would be much like an Indian stone warclub.
That or a 360° hammer.
It gives it more of a dead blow effect, look up trench clubs
A bouncer's best friend when the bar gets rowdy and the fight breaks out!
I don’t think ive ever seen a bouncer with a trench club
Awesome man. Did current events inspire you to build this? 😂
Thanks mate, haha no this is from well before all this chaos
this is one of my dad's favourite tools, he calls them rhythm sticks.
Hahahahaha nice. Thanks for watching
Uh, the lyrics of a punk song I heard back in the 80's finally makes sense.
"Beat me, beat me, beat me with your rhythm stick, its two feet long and the knob ends thick."
At least I hope this is what it meant.
Looks like an oversized black jack
When you heat up a cable red hot with a torch, you can twist it, and it kinda welds itself at the end.
Just make it as hot as possible, and twist it tighter, while keeping the torch on it.
Eventually it breaks off, and it doesn't unwind itself anymore.
Did you learn this in a city called Damascus?
Maybe you should keep this knowledge a secret and patent the idea.
What's the tactical advantage of having the ball on the cable? Do you really get some swinging acceleration?
It’s not about tactical it’s just how they built them it gives the head a deadblow
На большую дорогу собрался парень видать дела плохи😁😁😁😁😁😁😁Станки хорошие👍

What the hell did those veggies do to you?!! 😂
Reminded me of Christmas dinner
We have old clubs like those
laying on the police station, but
they have a spring instead. And
not so big ball here in🇸🇪🙂
Yes trench clubs came in different styles
What size casing was that u had as scrap in ur tool box? Looked like a dang tank case. Ida put that beast on display. Actually i got a bullet board i made. Add to it as much as i can. Just a case and a bullet of each size ive used. Not very large at the moment but its steadily climbing. Fun project actually.
Not actually sure mate, I picked it up with a load of scrap and intended to use it on something.
I was actually thinking of using it on this as the handle but thought id go a bit more fancier.
Thanks for watching

Sean Bean is that you?
Hahahahaha i wish
No pun intended but that might be a bit over kill but it would make a cracking fishing priest mate
Hahahahaha its a trench club they are always overkill
That's an absolute beauty. Would have like to see it used on something harder than veg! But yeah your a skilled man! Great video!!
Thank you, for filming the veg looks good and these were used on people so no need to try it on anything hard.
Why was the copper in the lathe failing over and over? Sadly I dont get to do this kinda stuff so I am curious what would cause that to happen.
Copper is soft and I just tried taking away too much at once so it go caught up, would have been ok if i went slower
EXCELLENT VIDEO I GIVE IT A PERFECT 10 🎯TEST TIME IS MY FAVORITE PART🦸♂️
The downside of making really great tire bats is that even when they are legal, cops will take them .
This is fully legal. I wouldn’t make something that wasn’t as it puts me job at risk
Police can’t take it if it is legal. They don’t get to make up the rule on the fly, well at least they aren’t supposed to.
@@davidchristensen6908 They can always try and steal it if they think they're lucky.

they didn’t use straps as its a trench club and that could be used against you by someone catching it then pulling you into the trench, i do my research before I build so please don’t tell me how I should make stuff, we also can’t change the past and this is an old video.

Using a cable and shaft might be easier on the arm by reducing the felt shock from impact, maybe? Regardless, that looks very effective!
Less shock and hits harder like deadblow hammer less elastic rebound
