I am learning with both duolingo and your you Tube videos and i feel it is a perfect combination, because it would be very confusing to practice and try to remember to say a verb or noun this or that way (from time to time the noun and verbs change according to the context), if i had to look up the rules behind it each time, instead of somehow being aware and knowing in advance the full scope and patterns of how verbs and nouns might change.
I totally agree with u, i was shocked when i saw that she didn't do another grammatical video after lesson 17 cuz i really wanna learn grammar first before everything else and she is a good teacher i can understand everything with her, and i wanna learn all cases with her
AAAH! Things seem to be getting better. I am learning russian at evening class here in Germany and find your lessons a super additional source. They also help me with my home-work. Still a long way to go though. I continually go back through your lessons and though this may sound boring to some, it does have its benefits. Don´t give up you people.

Здравствуйте Дарья! Меня зовут Офек и я живу в Израиле. У меня есть маленькая семья, два собаки и два коты. Я учу Русский, и хочу сказать спасибо большой - твои уроки очень хорошие :) Умею сейчас писать и читать, и говорить чуть. Спасибо и до свидания!
Дарья, здравствуйте! Месяц назад я сдал а-2 ТРКИ экзамен! Я люблю вашие видео. Вы самая прекрасная и хорошая Учительница. With your help, I'm on my way to fluency. Wishing you the best!
I love your channel and the way you think about language and communication. When I told my friends I was gonna start Russian they were all baffled and wondering ´why this super complicated language?´ haha. But you help me remember to always enjoy the process, and it has been so much fun! Please keep up the good work! Kisses from Brazil!
Hello Respected Daria Ma'am, your teaching technique is very simple, clear and easy to learn. You can move someone from an easy state to anything hard step by step !! Keep it up.
I improve my vocabulary by listening to Russian songs since 2004. Thanks to that, and my 6 years in Russia, I'm so grateful that I'm able to understand Russian 😀
Finally watched each video in this playlist once, some even twice! They were extremely informative and very helpful. Please keep up the good work! I would love it if you could possibly make more of these in-depth grammar videos for me to watch over the summer.
Thank you for your sharing. I had learned Russian for 4 years in Vietnamese university but I don’t use it so I forget most of them. It’s ashamed but from now on I’m going to learn it again. Would you kind to put subtitles in Russian in your video about your family or life so it’s easier for people like me to read along and practice with you. Thank you. Cheers Hanh
I just started about a month ago and I find you just about a week ago. Really you are amazing! I feel that I’m making huge progress because of you. I’m a native French speaker so the conjugation part was quite easy... still struggling a lot with pronunciation.. Love this language keep up the good work!
Wrong pronunciation can be problem in English speaking countries, but Russians will guess what you mean, even if words are not pronounced correctly. You will just have French accent. It should sound charming, perhaps fun 😀
@@alexsimpson79 It’s seriously hard for French speaking people to have the right pronunciation in English. After more than two years of learning Russian I can confirm that it’s way much easier to pronounce Russian words. Grammar is another story though
@@fredericgadoury6610 . I understand. All I was trying to say is that, you shouldn’t worry about pronunciation in Russian. English has words very similar to each other and pronunciation In English matter. Because, it might sounds strange but English speakers are not able to guess even when they know the context. I really finding it very strange. Though, women are more able to guess, than man. Which is also strange, but it is the fact. I hope it helps. 😀
@@alexsimpson79 Yeah I know and I’m very shy if I’m in a situation that I need to speak English. I almost avoid it at all cost. My mouth literally cannot pronounce some words. But I guess I’m shy in any situation anyway I’m almost more comfortable speaking Russian even though I still have a small vocabulary
Really enjoying your lessons, Daria. Have recommended to a few other people too. Now that I've watched thus far (made notes in my book up to Lesson ten so far), I'll go back over and over. I like your style - and your improvisation is part of the charm! Looking forward to 17 coming out - but you have so many other little videos, it'll certainly keep me busy for the next couple of months - I hope to be able to do more than just be able to order a glass of vodka when I visit Russia in July!
