No Daria, I don't agree with those people who say that you teach terribly, I think, you method of teaching is kinda interesting, you seem to put your heart and soul in your lectures and lessons. I regularly attend your lessons and take notes as well. Stay blessed.♥
I think the white board is excellent. You are truly a fabulous teacher and I am a slow learner not by reason of intelligence but rather by reason of having to do so much in life. I want to thank you from my heart for taking the time and putting forth a dedicated effort to help us learn the Russian language. I will in time learn from you how to speak Russian fluently. I love you as a person and as a teacher. I love you for being Russian as I love all Russians. I love listening to Russian, both as a language and it's beauty in music. Russian music is the best in the world. Although I am an American, I am a naturalized citizen, my family is in Bohemia - Czechoslovakia or now the Czech Republic. I lost the Czech tongue as a young boy, my parents wouldn't keep it up with me, it was forbidden by them as they needed to learn English and wanted me to only speak that tongue. I have always been proud to be Slavic and now I am 65 hoping what I knew will come back but I really like the Russian language. Again, thank you so very much for being there and doing the things you do because one of the things you do bring me comfort and that is that one day I may be able to speak Russian. God's blessings be upon you and I will write you again, God willing. Take good care now my Russian friend !
Never in my life I would've thought learning russian. I came to your channel by accident, and gotta tell you: thank you. Now I'm learning the language because I got impressed by the way you teach and started loving the language. Hope you keep going teaching us.
I find your teaching style to be highly effective! Thank you for all the time that you spend creating such wonderful lessons! I am eagerly awaiting lesson 18.
Спасибо, Дарья. I have been watching your lessons for over three months now. Ordered a few of your books this week. :) Love your teaching style, and your little stories in the lessons. Dictation is the trickiest for me because I am Hard of hearing. Your pronunciations are so precise I rarely hear wrong. Will eventually get through all of your videos. Take care! (Hope I got this one correct) Ваша друга и студента, Диане
22:57 Thanks daria for all the lessons. You're the best russian teacher that i ever found on the internet and i learned so much about russian in this channel "Thank you".
Спасибо за новый урок, Дарья! You asked about the pronunciation of “often.” Not sure what the dictionary says, but in practice, I think it’s more common with the T silent. However, I know I sometimes pronounce the T. I think it’s a word like “aunt” or “either” - there are two pronunciations that work for the word. (For clarity, I’m not meaning to imply that “aunt” and “either” have silent T’s - of course, they don’t!) The smaller whiteboard isn’t a bother for me as a student. It means you have to erase more often, and it’s probably more difficult for you to write spontaneously, but it doesn’t change the experience for me as a student. Thank you for suffering through the heat for us! Very glad to see another lesson. Пока!
For the past 8 days I was with your lessons mam.......really you are awesome in teaching mam.....now within no time I could understand the basics of RUSSIAN by just seeing your 16 lessons.......and I'm waiting for ur updates MAM!!!💝💝💝

Thank you so much for making these videos!! I cheated a little bit, i’m actually on lesson 4, but i wanted to see how hard the latest lesson was... still not so hard because you’re such a great teacher! This is the first time i’ve ever tried learning another language, i hope i can do it! Thanks again :-)
I agree with everyone else, The lesson was great. Glad to have you back. The board is a little small, but we use what we have. Спасибо Дарья , Добро пожаловать обратно
I think the small board helps you divide the lesson into smaller chunks which you can focus on one at a time, and which helps us to learn better. I’m taking a Russian class with a teacher who focuses on games (to make us have to be interactive) and it’s fun, but I always come home wanting to learn more grammar. And your class fits the bill.
Thanks a lot ! The most difficult and challenging stage of learning a new language is the starting stage .. and with your simple explanations and your amazing teaching skill, you motivate us to continue learning !
I love your teaching style. I'm glued to each lesson, taking notes in my workbook (s). I go back often (soft t😁) in my workbook, to review and rewrite words using sentences for better memory and watch video all over again if needed. .

Glad to see your grammar videos are back, Daria. Your explanations are very clear and I find these very helpful in understanding the rules of Russian. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these from you on hopefully all aspects of the Russian language.
Thank you Daria for these videos. They help me make sense of the language when I read texts and they are very useful. I make notes and regularly study them so I don’t forget :) Please please please upload more videos to this series when you can 🤗❤️
All of your lessons are very clear and well presented, and the tiny white board is perfectly fine. Your channel is the most useful I’ve found, so thank you very much. I’ve always been afraid of the grammar, but after binge watching all of these lessons, I already understand so much more. Now, I’m going back to listen again, and take notes. You’re a fantastic teacher. I can’t wait to surprise my wife’s family in Moscow and Podolsk. 😁👍🏻
Very interesting lessons I started learning Russian language from your channel because it is my first time that I came in Russia and I'm student I came here to continue my study and your channel helped me alot for more interesting this language thanks for your series lessons
Actually, "Often" used to have a sounding 't' in old English but it kinda fell away and became silent in some parts of modern English, basically it's right either way!
I can't thank you enough you encourage me to learn russian i wish if all my teachers have your sample way in teaching , i respect you i am sure you could teach all languages also 😄😄
Thank you so much for these lessons, they've been really helpful & enjoyable. I hope you will do some more but I know you're busy making other videos. Маленькая доска это хорошо.
Thank you so much for your great lessons. Referring to your question regarding the "t" in often. The 't' became silent in many words such as listen, soften, often during the 17th century with no historical records as to why.
your Russian lessons are my favorite playlist. Thanks for making these videos. I found the verbs of motion course a bit hard, so I need more basic grammar first.
The difference between the two variations of "often" are more connected to the region of an english speaking country that you are from. Educational level is not as much of a determination of the pronunciation of the word as is the local dialect...both are considered correct so either way would be acceptable so, use the version that you are more comfortable with. Love your lessons, plesae keep making them!!!!
