I love your wildlife videos and photos. I am so grateful for your work and advocacy for wildlife - especially in Sweden. I lived there for 10 years until recently. I was saddened and frustrated by the lack of care and concern for wildlife in Sweden, and especially for the lack of concern for old growth forest and preserving wildlife habitat by the Swedish forestry industry. Thank you thank you!

Something I've noticed is how your wonderful videos remind me of someone who knows exactly what they should be doing with their life. It's kind of comical (or tragic) that I've never thought about how beautiful my own country is. I have lived most of my adult life outside of Sweden, which I do not regret, but it took a very talented photographer for me to finally understand how much I miss nature, the calm, the colors of the seasons. But I guess a photographer with this talent would make any part of the world irresistible.
How more you go north in Europe, how more intense the saisons seems to be. Some people like warmth and sunshine the whole year, but I prefer to experience the changes of the seasons.
Fantastic scenes of the Northern Lights and the cranes! I have only photographed cranes once and hopefully will get the opportunity to find and photograph them again soon 😊

Great to see "Karlavagnen" (Ursa Major) in the sky! From it its easy to locate "polstjärnan" ( Alfa Ursae Minoris) which has been a beacon for people here in the north for thousands of years. As always, great content!

Hello Dani, the cranes are with us right now. This is 30 km south of Hamburg (Germany). A week ago there were said to have been around 8,000 cranes. Last year there were said to be around 20,000 - 25,000 cranes. A real spectacle. Here they only come to sleep after sunset. Then it gets dark quickly and taking photos or filming becomes difficult. I've been there twice this year and will go there at least twice more. Greylag geese, Canada geese, goldfinches and then the cranes. I also saw my first eagle (probably a sea eagle) and a cormorant.
It was also nice to see the squirrels again at this cool location, the old truck.

Hi 👋, Dani , great photography as per usual, lovely to see you squirrels, I’ve been watching mine over the past week or so, collecting walnuts, I even had one come and sit by the side of me. He or she hadn’t realised that I just walked down the lane as it came out of the field next door and obviously hadn’t seen me., something I find very strange is that I’ve been working on the back of my building which sits in the riverbed, and the piece of land, probably 2 to 3 m wide alongside my building, and over the period of the weeks, I occasionally pick up the rocks and stones out of the river to help protect the piece of land from being eroded away, what I’ve noticed is the squirrel doesn’t go along with a piece of land, but he hops or she hops across the rocks on the stones alongside the piece of land, not going on the land at all,
Hopefully one day, I’ll get myself another half decent camera ,
I’m not sure whether you want to, the Scania truck might be worth some money if it is yours, you could probably sell it, as there are people who love vintage vehicles, especially in Sweden, might be worth doing some investigation,

Wow this is definitely one of my favorite videos. I love cranes so much. When they leave for the south in autumn I hear them calling and it makes me melancholic because it indicates that winter is near and it's so much joy to hear them coming back in spring. On both occasions I'm at the brink of crying. 🥰

In Sweden, the buns you had for breakfast usually are called "Tosca" buns. I don't really know why. Something to do with Puccini? - Cranes are quite spectacular birds. My daughter-in-law's family has a small cottage in southeastern Sweden, far from any towns or tarmac roads. We spent one weekend there some years ago, I think my son at the time was around 25. On going home, passing a small field, we saw a few cranes. And my son showed his absolute ignorance about nature by shouting "Dad,look! There are som ostriches there!". It still hurts (a little ...) to recall that experience. ;-)

Looking at them, I see paintings of nuances of emotions emerging which flood time and leave me suspended between two moments of eternity.

I live at the edge of a bird refuge and the Sandhill cranes will dance just a few yards from people walking on the path. Their sound is magical and so is their dancing ❤

There are lots of empty and/or abandoned houses scattered throughout Skellefteå kommun, unfortunately our municipality doesn't have an organized registry of ownership. Unfortunately, as there's an urgent demand on housing from all the people who want to come here and live and work, many of which have no desire to move into a block of apartments, but rather would find a cottage in a rural area within pending distance from town.

Cranes are lovely and impressive birds! We have a few that seem to stay during the entire winter down here in Skåne - stubborn or stupid choice, I don't know. The really amazing time for us here comes in spring (late March, early April) when we see thousands upon thousands congregating in a field at Pulken.

Have you been to the lake Hornborgarsjön in Sweden. There is a lot cranes in springtime when they migrate north. And they “dancing”
