A most Pompous Big City Engine (Trainz Stories)

- Time for the first Trainz Story of the year, albeit slightly delayed due to me losing my motivation due the the UK being in Lockdown/Quarantine again (basically 2020 part 2). But here it is, a story about Reginald, the Big City Engine, or The Foreign Engine. The Fat Controller hires Reginald from the Mainland to run excersion trains from Sodor to destinations on the Mainland. However, when Gordon and Duck see him, it reignites the debate about which station is London. Even Richard, who is puzzled about the whole thing chips in, as London to him was Charings Cross, Waterloo, Victoria, etc. Reginald goes on to boss Bernard for his coaches, and is rude to Wilfrid who is taking his excersion trains up to Ulfstead Castle, and even Caroline, who broke down again. Reginald carries on his rudeness, even when he goes up to Ulfstead Castle, much to the annoyance of Glynn, Stephen, Neil and Wilfrid. Then, Reginald gets his comeuppance when his safety valve bursts. Then it is up to Bernard, Wilfrid, and Darryl to get the excersion train moving again.
This is also the first Trainz Story where I composed the entrie score, using Proteus 2 and FL Studio of course. So what do you think? Also I based my Caroline voice off Caroline and Baldwin (if you saw my human Caroline, you'd understand more) Richard is carson08022000's OC.

Daryl totally roasted Reginald
now darrel is the kind wise engine
Well Reginald will stop be selfish and bossy and in end he gets very big trouble
@@matthewhahn1132 Yea im with you I know what I would say to him, Reginald the troublesome steamer
He did. With help from Bernard and Wilfred!
This time darryl needs to speed reginald like he did to james behind him
Darryl used to be snobbish & rude towards the Steam Engines, but now he's changed and is now a kind, friendly, gentle & wise Diesel. Also, Sir Topham Hatt allows him to visit his railway anytime, he wants.
This was a great story. Reginald really is a mean and pompous engine and I cannot blame the engines for being upset with him. I'm glad he got his comeuppance in the end, and even got a telling off from Daryl :) .
Hey
Well said Ross, I totally agree with you on your thoughts about Big City Engine A.K.A Reginald.
Agreed
Reginald the BCE is not mean on Stories of Sodor, but that series is an AU and an outright anomaly
@@elmasterdezoologia6641 nice
Unusual for James to avoid an argument! Very rare of him to do so!
Sometimes, when you're used to stirring the pot, its just great seeing it from the outside.
The argument is so childish even the most argumentative member of the Steam Team regnises it as such lamo 😆
@@fanofeverything30465 One of the few times James was more mature than Gordon.
As a side note, what would Richard's number in the Steam Team be? Maybe 13, since he tends to be *unluckily* clumsy?
@@elmasterdezoologia6641 14 since in my headcanon Duck has the 8th spot, Donald has the 9th spot, Douglas has the 10th spot, Oliver has the 11th spot, Emily has the 12th spot and Rosie has the 13th spot. Yes I like Emily and Rosie. It is my opinion and if you respect it that would be greatly appreciated 👌🏻
@@fanofeverything30465 I also like emily and Rosie.
man it served reginald right and Daryl nice job putting him in his place
I agree with you there
Daryl is very smart
@forge-master-wolf how nice he deserve rewards and smiles doesn't he
Reginald: (yells at Richard)
The Fandom: So you have chosen...scrap.
Ha! Genius way of saying
'SO YOU HAVE CHOSEN DEATH'
That big city engine is so full of himself, When him and all his siblings were withdrawn from British rail and were replaced by the deltics, class 40s , 44s,45s,46s, class 37s, etc, he was known as the big scrap yard engine after
Indeed. If anything Reginald should be more humble and less full of himself. He can easily fetch his own coaches or at the very least a little kindness towards even those older and more fragile than me. Darel did the right thing for scolding Reggie. Humility keeps the ego in check and it keeps anyone down to earth... Well maybe not everyone.
Deltics were North Eastern Region. Reginald is a Patriot, which served on the Midland Region. A new Patriot, "The Unknown Warrior" will be on the mainline soon. Not all Patriots are rude and quarrelsome, like how not all A4's are snobs.
Deltics were from the Eastern Region while Patriots were from the Midland Region
"Giggleswick"
Giggleswick is an actual place, which is only 15 miles from where I live.
@@TB76Returns 9:14 HA HA HA.
That is a new catchphrase.
That was also the name of an actual LMS Patriot in real life.

I didn't know that, that's very funny

Unusual for James to avoid an argument! Maybe didn't want a headache. With Gordon and Duck and Reginald.
I think a better title would be 'Gordon, Bernard, and The Foreign Engine'. That's just my opinion, though.
I think thats already used somewhere else though I don't remember where
Why Gordon? He was barely in the episode
Meh, I personally would've titled it "A Big City Return".
Ah well, I hope that Reginald has learned his lesson that Euston is not the only station in london, Great work as always! :)
Wow, great work all around!
Richard gets owned by the diesel that was pompous before now nice
@mega lucario wow he got really busted this time by a DIESEL how funny
Awesome story. Love how Reginald got his comeuppance. And interesting how D261 appeared.
D261 is also known as Class 40, and many users give him names, like our server TB76 here naming him Daryl and Victor Tanzig naming him Theodore.
So nobody's talking about reginald stuttering literally every time he f**king talks🤣🤣🤣
What if you were to put all the rudest engines in one episode? Can't wait to see how they would get along together!
I bet they would be rude, even to each other
I didn't know Big City Engine had a name. He must've been named after the Railway Series illustrator.
If you've watched Victor Tanzig; The Stories of Sodor the engine is called Reginald
@@ryanbelcher25rb I'm surprised the 2020 model of him didn't have the number 45511 on his cab, but the 2010 version does.

Thomas: Waterloo (based on another video)
James: Manchester's Victoria, not Picadilly
Duck: Paddington
Gordon: King's Cross
Richard: Chairing Cross (don't know if it actually exists)
Reginald the BCE: Euston
None: St. Pancras
I wonder what would Henry, Wilfred, Neil and Bernard would say in the matter
Edit: Spencer telling Reginald off was glorious.
Here it comes! The Station Master is right piddled off.
I even hate Reginald he is twice as worse when Alfred was mean but he changed in the new story of Alfred 3 so he could change his attitude towards the other engines
Time to put that BCE Theme to good use! Oh yeah, and I hope you had a great 24th birthday! :)
I find it interesting how Daryl has an American horn (Nathan K5LA, to be exact). That said, a Polish engine (M62M-003) also had one.
This is like an extended version of Bowled Out
Wilfred and Bernard put Reginald in his place! But he blew up his safety valve due to his pomposity!
These engines are older than Reginald! He'll be undone by one of them and Bernard!
Reginald's own pride was his downfall, but, in a way, you could say Wilfred defeated him.
These are all of the propper London termanace stations: Cannon Street, Charing Cross, Euston, Fenchurch Street, Kings Cross, Liverpool Street, London Bridge, Marlibone, Paddington, St Pancras, Victoria and Waterloo.
I just watched a couple of favourite Thomas and Friends episodes. It's a shame that programs like this aren't like them. I refer to the fact that the characters, humans and engines, all had moving mouths when they spoke.
Hopefully Reginald Will Be More Dignified Next Time.
Bernard: Why don’t YOU fetch your own coaches, big green sausage!!
Reginald: A tender engine shuntin his own coaches? PREPOSTEROUS!!
Um is this nearly a reference to the wandering coach
To Reginald respect your fellow relic engines
Couldn't agree more! 😉
Reginald: I don't give a shit
I've never been to London myself but it sounds like it's so big that it needs multiple stations. St Pancreas, Kings Cross, Paddington, Houston are probably just a handful of rail stations in London. I don't know for sure because I've never been there. I think the point here is multiple rail companies had their own name for their Station in London if I were to name the big four I'd guess
Houston=LMS
Kings Cross=LNER
ST Pancreas=SR
Paddington= GWR
Euston, not Huston.
Actually St Pancras also served the LMS alongside Euston. It was built by the Midland Railway which was one of the railways in the north that was formed into the LMS during the 1923 Grouping act.
Who run Waterloo
I know it’s now run by the south western railway (SWR)
But who before
9:16 Neil snaps at Reginald
Daryl did the right thing to scold Reggie. Being all puffed up will get you into trouble.
When Reginald was screaming in pain, it reminded me of Sr. Pelo.
Ikr
He's going to regret that. Bernard is not going to take that sitting down. And neither will Daryl!
Reginald's voice has me dying lmao
At 3:53 Bernard said his name introduction
Reginald just got scolded & roasted by a Diesel, named Darryl
I got a question, how do you make those train whistle sound effects? Apart from using obvious clips from the show, do you create original new ones or use others from real life examples?
Its about time wilfrid got his time in the spotlight
Reginald es un gran antagonista; la serie merecía más villanos de vapor como él, pero sólo tuvimos a Spencer...
You composed beautifully
Reginald is a bigger locomotive plonker than Gordon!
Nobody:
James @3:23:
Boco and Duck were in the station. Wilfred must be almost as old as Edward!
I think he's older, but I don't know, since I don't know Wilfred's basis.
Hmm one of the few times that Gordon and Spencer agreed! And Caroline did not.
I love class 40(Daryl) became a good engine. Though he was rude to steamys before, he reflected himself and changed his mind.
Just occurred to me! Wilfred is LNER!! Gordon is a former LNER and so is Spencer! That doubles the embarrassed on Reginald! Not helped by Bernard either! Oh ho! That's now complete!
Reginald’s nameplate says giggleswick on it. But he doesn’t giggle.
Giggleswick is an actual place that is 15 miles from where I live
@@TB76Returns I know, I was I only making a joke. How can some people possibly not giggle when they’re in Giggleswick? Everyone is giggling there.
They are not actually...:P
That was a good video. Oh dear, Reginald is always saying Euston is the proper station for London. He should feel ashamed of himself. Why don’t you use Brandon Polley’s Rolling Stock loop and Road Vehicle idle? The G.W. Shunter’s Rolling Stock Loop 1 is skipped and the Lorry Motor Loop should be used for vehicles that are going. Don’t worry about it.
Please, make old iron, a close shave (20 runaway trucks, and series 5 Crosby like Anothny's trainz videos), and Percy's predicament.
I wonder why no one ever brings up London Victoria. For Molly Great Eastern Railway Liverpool Street
Reginald? You mean THAT Reginald from Victor Tanzig's Stories of Sodor series?
No
@shining armor That's the 2010 model that read Isle Of Man.
The station in London is London.
There, end of argument.
Do these engines not understand that London has multiple stations and that names of stations could have easily been changed over time?
Nice!
Reginald better hope that Wilfred (1020) doesn’t fall into a certain lake on a certain branch line. Or else, he may have a visitor one day!
If you know the reference then gg.
Wow new story
I like how u use class 40 model instead of the other one lol
Great story, will there be a sequel to this?
" AUGHHHH AUGHHHHH HEY FETCH MY CKACHEEEEE TJIDJIEJFUDHDYDYRYF " big city
James: i do have to say that Manchester satation is Victoria not Piccadilly, because I went there
I am looking for the spencer model that you used in this video and it said somewhere that I can find it here in TW3D what does this website logo mean.
Honestly, Gordon arguing with Reginald and Duck about the station at London is better than Gordon being frustrated with City of Truro because he was jealous of how fast he can go. Honestly Gordon can go 100 mph too but not necessarily like City of Truro. He tried going 100 mph once and as he beat City of Truro's record, his dome was loose and next he tried going faster than City of Truro but ran a hotbox.
I thought the Big City Engine's name is "Euston"!
I hope Reginald would finally, stop being a rude and bossy engine, and become a nice & friendly engine, now that, he just got his comeuppance by the Stationmaster & Darryl. Also, he should stop boasting about Euston, being the only proper station in London.
Some things never change, unfortunately
Hopefully Reginald will learn his lesson.
Nice video ❤
ITS KINGS CROSS!
