And also establishing percy becoming "put upon" and disillusioned with work with Henry's "you'll understand when you've been here for a long time" line.
@@alaricjaspers6348Oh yeah, and also tragic if you see it in this way: that van's last words with Percy was him complimenting Percy on pushing the train up the hill despite Percy struggling and the whole train mocking him all the way up the hill.
I love how innocent Percy is when James says, "Dumb stupid shit!" And he just replies, "Dumb stupid what?" Just goes to show how innocent Percy's character is in the Trampy series so far.
Percy’s bewilderment for the word “Shit” shouldn’t have made me laugh so hard but somehow it did. Also good use of James spinning on the turntable into the story!
I love how you combined The Flying Kipper, Fish, and High Speed Gordon into a single episode really adds to how a railway would actually function in such weather
What you have accomplished as a writer and performer is extremely compelling and fun. The subtle tweaks you add to the stills (like the black eyes and tired expressions) is a nice touch. Your style makes it easy to get sucked into these. Bravo!
Two things I just want to mention really quick: Henry's "what the hell Percy" is so funny to me, he doesn't sound angry or annoyed, he sounds disappointed. I love how Percy took charge of the situation and told Henry off. Being the youngest, it was refreshing to see and help his character grow.
@@supercrafter0154 Indeed. That is a personal joke that I have had with myself pretty much my entire life, and I am so glad that I had an opportunity to share it. It's not the Flying Salmon, the Flying Tuna, Herring, Sardines, Halibut, or any other fish. It's the Flying _Kipper._
James screaming on the turntable for 50 seconds straight while screaming like a newborn child at 3 in the morning made me laugh my ass off way to hard.
I don't know.whether to call it fate or sheer dumb luck, but I found this comment AND James started his scream right at 3am Just made me die laughing even harder lmao
4:45 Okay, James screaming for help in the background while Gordon continues making excuses for himself is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Bravo, Trampy. Bravo.
19:30 It would be hilarious if there was a blooper with Percy and James provoking Henry into screaming *Percy* - "HENRY, WHAT HAPPENED?!" *Henry* - "If someone asks me that one more time, I'm going to scream." _(Percy and James look at each other and give mischievous grins)_ *Percy* - "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" *James* - "On three!" *Percy and James* - "1... 2..." *Henry* - "DON'T YOU DARE!--" *Percy and James* - "HENRY, WHAT HAPPENED??" *Henry* - "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA--"
Considering how everyone and the universe has been pushing him around quite a bunch, although he does let things get to his smokebox and tends to act like he is above others at times, it's no wonder he's becoming unstable.
This was a heavy episode. let me just say the banter in this was outstanding, that was the rawest banter i’ve ever heard. it felt so genuine and really personal between every character. James spinning like a top took me by surprise and I was in left in tears. the set up for the kipper was so great, but that ending was so heavy. I loved that when james and percy were arguing we finally saw percy’s next character trait, when percy was being accused of the cause of the accident, he immediately clapped back to defend himself. Henry too was greatly explored. that one trait of him being insecure about not being as reliable as gordon in sir topham eyes is really tense at the end. This was such a great story Kyle very hilarious at the beginning and heart breaking at the end. I would go further into detail about every wise decision you made, but this would be a book. a phenomenal episode. Also I’m excited, now with this story done with we are finally out of the murky early years of the NWR, no more guessing what year these stories take place. Once toby is introduced each railway series book takes place one year after the other starting in 1951 and so on moving forward. That is what i’m most excited about. I can’t wait to see what else you’ve got in store moving forward. Take care.
Gordon: "How degrading, pulling a smelly fish train!" _Which also happens to be a non-stop priority named fast freight straight from the docks to the mainland_
James screaming on the turntable while everyone is bickering is pure comedy gold! Also the part where the guard told James' fireman to forget his cocoa reminded me of 'forget the radio' quote from There Goes a Train!
Not sure if Thomas and Gordon are there yet. I think Thomas currently DESPISES Gordon for not helping him and Edward when he first arrived, and condescending to him all the time. He clearly holds quite a grudge.
Dude, these adaptations just keep getting better and better. I love how you wrote this episode. The humour was amazing and all these characters are just written amazingly and have such hilarious moments, especially James. James was probably the best character in this video. I loved that u gave us context as to why he was pulling a goods train during the original flying kipper story, cause he’s been working the night shift recently, and u gave us the iconic turntable gag, but like 10X funnier cause everyone just does nothing while that happens and continues with there conversation. Another thing I love that u did was have Percy involved with helping Henry pull the kipper, which I thought was such a clever way to elaborate on their dynamic already established in Firebox. I also loved that u referenced Thomas and the Guard, that was such a surprise to me. But the best thing about this Trampy movie was the crash. The build up, and the climax of the accident was just amazing and it leaves the audience just wanting to see more and the way u tease us for Toby is amazing. Another S-tier Trampy Movie, keep it up dude
Both James and Thomas have always been my favourite characters throughout the franchise and I really love Trampy's take on them, as well as the other characters.
Almost everyone that is forced to work in cold sub zero conditions will no doubt hate it. I work outside every day and I'm eager for warmer weather to get here sooner.
James spinning on the turntable was actually unexpected, and him saying shit and Percy questioning what he said was fucking priceless. Genuinely, the other engines could’ve offered him some support. I actually felt bad for him. The blunt description of “Henry fucking dies” is so funny. Also, the screaming at the sheds is golden. 9:55 had me in stitches. The idea of Percy banking Henry up the hill was a creative idea. The trucks’ banter sounds like the minions, it’s great. I don’t think anyone’s acknowledged how you give Percy so much more to do in these stories than in Season 1. Also, Henry refusing to let STH know about the crash is really surreal. James’s morality of telling him, “they’re just coaches! You’re hurt” is really sweet and unexpected from him. The part of Crewe being seen for engines who are insane is really unique, this feels like a big changing moment in the Trampy movie series. Best Trampy movie yet.
there's also the fact that James mentions that Crewe "isn't that bad" and then immediately denying knowing about it something tells me James may have been sent there before joining the NWR
Totally! James, Henry and Percy were at their best and as one. Their interactions with one another felt so real. I thought it was pretty interesting how Percy never takes any offence whenever someone slangs him off and how he was willing to help Henry up the hill despite the trucks giving him shit. I also love Percy's sense of morality as well when he agrees with James about informing Sir Topham Hatt about the accident. James spinning around like a top and losing his shit was the best thing ever for me! 🤣🤣 You can tell that Henry is slowly warming up to Percy a little bit in comparison to his first appearance.😐 Still trying to figure out how James feels about him 🤨. And we all know what Thomas and Gordon think about Percy 😡 Edward is properly the only one that has ever treated Percy like an equal, like he did with Thomas. I feel that was a nice touch and a great cycle in terms of Edward's character.
Bear in mind that James is a L&YR engine design, and the L&YR was eventually absorbed into the LMS, who's primary workshop was Crewe. So Crewe could well have been James' old equivalent of Crovan's Gate.
1. I love how Henry and Gordon continue arguing while James is screaming for help in the background, stuff like that always gets me. And then they wonder why James is so pissed off at them. 2. I think Henry's friendship with Percy is starting to grow, even though I don't think Henry would care to say so. 3. "Hell, even James is probably more worthy than you!" *James starts spinning and screaming for help* "Ok, maybe not James, but anyone else could!" That was brilliant.
I have to say that Percy stating that he'll get the Fat Controller despite Henry's protests was the most mature thing that he had done up to this point in this particular series.
Yes. He's finally becoming, or, at least, developing into, a grown-up engine. Especially at 20:53. Percy: ua-cam.com/video/Zwj6VNj0ZQU/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AreaSixtyNine
i was anticipating this episode for the longest time and it does not disappoint. probably one of my favorites so far actually. not only does it respect the episode its directly inspired from, but the unique creative liberties it takes elevate the original so much. the first one right of the bat is the set up with james. when james criticizes the other engines for not showing any "concern or urgency" for someone in need. he stays true to this sentiment when henry crashes, as he asks henry if he was alright multiple times. and although he does this to a humorously degree, i'd agrue this just shows how much he cares about the engines he argue so often with. the second creative liberty is the setup for the trope of percy proving that others wrong about his strength, which was notorious in the show. i noticed that that scene kinda parallels edward's and gordon's push up the hill in the first episode, where gordon shows no thanks for edward's help. but in contrast, henry is much more encouraging and thanks percy of his assistance. another small thing would be the scene with the drivers talking about their experiences with the engines, it really humanizes them and it introduces really good banter. and lastly, i feel including percy in this in general elevates this whole episode in general. there is such a nice juxtaposition with an innocent engine such as percy witnessing first hand one of the most brutal and serious crashes in the series. its even better knowing that percy handles the situation with so much maturity and seriousness, especially when siding with james on henry being hurt. this was such a good episode trampy, great work as always
I like the implication that James has been to Crewe before. Honestly this entire thing was well worth the wait. I liked the joke between Percy and his driver at Wellsworth (with the latter just giving up instead of correcting him), and that Thomas’s guard was on board the train retelling a certain story about Thomas leaving him behind. James on the turntable and the reaction by Gordon and Percy to his swearing was just icing on the cake. Excited for the next part!
I mean, how could they? They had no steam. At least Edward cared enough to address the situation while Henry and Gordon bickered like a bunch of old Crones.
at least James might be able to hull passenger trains again as well as goods when he returns from Crew whilst Henry gets fitted in with a new shape with a bigger firebox after Movie 15, whist Sir Topham Hatt goes on vacation to meet Toby on his original branch line on Trampy Movie 16 I believe which I'm certain that Trampy will want to tell us about we'll find out when he does so
I love how Henry and Percy's friendship has been growing since Firebox, and it made perfect sense for the latter to bank the Kipper since Gordon's Hill wasn't addressed in the original story. Also, rip to Scarves and your voice Trampy, what with all those rich screams reminding me of the one from Gordon and the Butterfly.
After the crash, Henry didn't say he was fit to keep going because he really felt that way. He just knew that with all his problems, he was probably on his last chance with The Fat Controller. And if he saw Henry so badly damaged, he might just scrap him instead of spending on repairs. That was why Henry was so desperate that The Fat Controller didn't know. It wasn't stubbornness, it was survival.
Yay! It's here! -James' turntable accident? I did not expect that one at all and I'm giggling. -The Flaming Kisser. The Flipping Dipper. -Percy's excitement is precious! -Nice to see Percy helping Henry here. Also seems to be a callback to Duck's help from Fish! -Slight foreshadowing with the faulty points mention. -Hey look, a truck actually thought that was good work. -Thomas and the Guard callback! Neat! That's nice to know that it still happens here in this universe. -Nice moment from Percy's defiance. -and Henry and Percy's friendship grows... WORTH the wait! Great job! LOVED IT!
3:31 "What's wrong with sharing? That way you can BOTH pull the express!" "No, thank you. I'd rather die!" *that's some crazy foreshadowing* Jokes aside, this was a GREAT Trampy Movie! Might go as far as to say it's my favorite one! I love the little reference to Thomas leaving his guard behind (which we never saw, but it's nice to see it mentioned). I like the inclusion of having Percy helping Henry with the train. Again, it bring out Henry's "older brother" side. I'm glad we also finally got to see James spinning on the turntable. Must've been hard screaming your lungs out for that part lol The last part was so interesting and I can't believe just how somber it felt. Very well done. Great work once again, Trampy! Definitely worth the wait! Can't wait to see what's next!

I genuinely loved how much Poor James was just going round and round on the turntable, and my heart almost broke hearing Percy saying good bye, like he was uncertain that he did the right thing, but holding out hope all the while.
Wow. Henry and Percy bonding. The crash was violent. Reactions were spot on. And Percy’s maturity after the crash. These movies are always well worth the wait. This is my new favorite. Hands down!
This was a great new Trampy movie! I love how Tenders and Turntables was incorporated into this story, and James's screaming while Gordon and Henry bicker about the express is hilarious! Speaking of the green engine, Henry and Percy still looking out for each other was a really nice touch, and I love that Percy "grows up" in a sense here, proving his worth by helping bank the train up Gordon's Hill, which was definitely a nice new addition that wasn't in the original story, and I love that _he's_ the one who tells Henry that he's not okay after his crash and that he's going to get Sir Topham Hatt. He definitely feels like he's gone through some character development here in this one! Another great Trampy movie, and I like how this one ended on a cliffhanger rather than the original story, which of course states that Henry was okay quickly after his accident happened. As a result, we never really got to see how the railway would manage without him, so maybe that's what the next movie is going to tackle? I'm really looking forward to seeing it, and it's great to see you return to doing these movies again!
THE KING IS BACK So I’m now writing some stuff I liked. 1. First, I’m really liking Gordon and Henry’s rivalry now that Henry is getting closer to Gordon’s rank with the special coal. They really hate each other that they removed the concept of sharing out of their dictionary. Also James on the turntable was absolutely hilarious (also drink some water jeez XD) 2. I like how you were able to squeeze in the non important rws stories as little gags or mentions with James on the turntable and his guard mentioning him being left by Thomas. Also, Toby at the end?? 👀 3. I legit thought the vans were voiced by kids or something, I dunno why, which made it funnier. 4. I just like the human characters bantering too pike the scene in the van. 5. But I think I really love Percy in this whole movie. Ah, adorable, naive, and quite annoying XD. Always willing to help yet always gets on everyone’s nerves. Henry could’ve just pummeled him like the grouch that he is, but he had enough heart to care for the little guy that he even decided to have him tag along as a banker. It’s really sweet knowing Henry is still grateful for Percy for recommending him the welsh coal and now he has this big brother little brother relationship with the wee saddle tank. Henry has really come so far from being a jerk to now being a jerk with a heart of gold, and that was strengthened even more when he stood up in Percy’s defense when James was blaming the later for the accident. It almost made me cry a bit tbh. I just love not only the comedy but how you write the characters in ways to have such a meaningful and beautiful relationship, just like Thomas and Eddie. 6. One last thing, I actually feel bad for Henry. Dude’s self image is so low that he doubts himself all the time and he is always so hard on himself that he’s willing to do his best even he just endured a life threatening accident, just to be on the same level as Gordon. Welp That’s all I gotta say. Also take a break too, you deserve it man 🎉
@@Stoked_magic yeah but this Percy always shunted, never pulled a train till arriving to Sodor. Think about it, it took him a few minutes to pull up next to Henry and James. Just saying he might had freaked out for a bit then went to check on Henry.
This was really well done. I got a kick outta james spinning on the turntable while henry and gordon were arguing. And how james reacted to the nightshift. Henry and percys dynamic is really great. Big and little brother vibes
Now this is how you make a comeback. This was a real mind blower. The references to Thomas and the Guard, Tenders and Turntables finally in the bunch, and maybe a little recreation of High Speed Gordon, they were all phenomenal. I also liked how you added Percy in the flying kipper dilemma, now that would have been an awesome crash to see on screen for the actual show.
That is hands down the best Thomas content I have ever seen. I was wondering if was going to be this or an episode with Thomas and the Guard, Thomas and Bertie and Thomas goes fishing in one, but having Thomas and the guard be merely part of the crew’s conversation was absolute genius and your adaptation of James spinning on the turntable had me in stitches and having Percy take ducks place Chris Awdry’s ‘fish’ story was a very nice added detail as well as who was pulling the train that Henry crashed into as well.
James may say "The word share isn't in Gordon nor Henry's Vocabulary. Speaking of, Share is the definition of "A portion of a larger amount of people or trains."
16:30 Poor Thomas😅😓 Also, I just love the way you tackled this one. The banter is still as classic as always, the part with James spinning on the turntable and the engines don’t seem to care, and Percy and Henry’s interaction. Everything is just comical and classic😂😂👍
This has to be my favorite trampy movie to date. I can say it even rivals the original. I love the subtle character development shining through. I love Henry and Percy's growing friendship. The turntable gag and the guard implying "Thomas and the Guard" was absolutely genius. I absolutely love how James just keeps getting more and more insane it's perfect. The fact that that he's a little cranky after the nightshift and how he seems to really hate that job is so funny. His subtle character development too. Remember in "Trucks" where he denied being upset? I love how he actually acknowledges he's upset in this episode! I don't know if that's intentional or not but it's bloody brilliant! I hope your throat is okay after all that screaming! Another subtle thing is I like how, well, he's not complaining as much about goods as he did before. Well, he still complains but not to the other engines which is neat. Percy being like an excited little child when Henry tells him that he'd let him help was so endearing to watch! Even if Henry was getting a bit annoyed. And when things turn serious he knows what's the better decision to do. Even if Percy is basically an innocent child I like how sometimes he's the mature one in situations like this. Feels in character for him and I love that. In the part with the trucks dang, that was awesome too! I also adore how you give the trucks more character than they ever did in the original series! Instead of being the "happy-go-lucky suicide is fun" character they had. How they genuinely compliment the engines when they did a good job. It's nice. And the joke they made with James caught me off guard and James' reaction was absolutely priceless! The narrative is so expanded here! I like how Henry assumes Crewe is some sort of insane asylum for engines and how he didn't want to even go there. And the fact that James subtly implies that he's BEEN to Crewe before is weirdly in character. I hope that implication gets expanded upon, gives James more depth than he already does. Oh my goodness, the fact that at the start of the episode it literally gives the reason why James was there in the original episode. And I love how even if these two idiots argue and piss eachother off all the damn time, James still shows... genuine concern! How panicked he sounded and was apologizing for no reason and was even asking the guy what to do. I love how his voice gets all squeaky when he's panicked its funny. Its endearing honestly! The three talking after the crash happened was honestly one of the sweetest and most endearing moments in all of these movies. Oh, and Henry. Oh god, I love how much respect and grace you handled the guy. Even if the branding itself literally spat on his face. The build up to his crash was so poignant. How the transition from James being angry and cranky to the literal crash was handled so well its beautiful. You could tell how desperate he was to finish the job, breathes more life to the story. I wonder how Gordon will react? Well, because it's Gordon I don't expect THAT much concern especially because the episode that covered Henry's return says otherwise cough cough Whistles and Sneezes cough. I genuinely am so excited for his eventual return! Sorry for rambling! I just love this so much! Definitely worth all that wait!
That James bit was definitely worth the wait. It crack me up lol. Definitely another fantastic work Trampy with these movies. Also, that workmen conversation combine with the crash is gold
Is it just me but when James screams at 4:39, it sounds like his whistle. It sounded the same as well in Episode 11 when he told Gordon and Henry to shut up.
Once again everything about your work far exceeds expectations. The writing, the timing, the comedy, the characters, literally everything. Setting up the frost causing problems with Gordon is pure genius, especially with it tying into Henry's renewed confidence since the Welsh coal incident and introducing his want to take Gordon down a notch after that extremely low blow. All of that sets up the main plot elements for Henry's impatience and anxiety to blind him within the first three minutes. And then once again James not only makes for great comedy with the turntable (Henry and Gordon ignoring him completely to continue arguing is amazing) but it's a great way to set up the Flying Kipper and show it's something the engines have dealt with before. The way you do exposition is incredible. Then there's the edits and the little things. The new faces you've made not only look incredibly real, but perfectly convey the feelings of the scenes. James' shouting at the other engines after the turntable is a wonderful example of that. The banter continues to have that trademark Sodor snark and sarcasm, makes you feel like you're watching a classic office sitcom every time you listen to it. The little bits about Thomas and the Guard (as well as not spending an episode on it), the early wake-up and Henry's reaction, the trucks on the Kipper being alive to heighten the tension on Gordon's Hill, and Crewe seemingly having a reputation as a nuthouse all add to an already great story. Some subtle hints at James possibly being modified at Crewe and Topham's holiday possibly leading to our Number 7 is nice too. But the true meat and potatoes of this video and makes it so good is how it continues off the bond Henry and Percy have started since the end of Firebox. Percy's overabundant enthusiasm at helping with the special while Henry treats it as something typical is great juxtaposition, and I love how the Gordon's chuckle at the shed and jabs towards Henry at the station are based on how he's accepted who Percy is and his amusement at that very juxtaposition between the two of them. Having Percy join Henry to shunt for and eventually bank the Kipper allows Percy's well-meaning and supportive side to truly shine through to Henry, which allows him to open up a little, even if he'd never admit it yet. The elements of "Fish" used on the hill with the living trucks add a wonderful middle to the Kipper's journey, and you can tell that not only is Henry genuinely proud of Percy, but Percy is also sure of himself and what he is capable of. Their triumphant feelings which are swiftly dashed by one of the most beautifully sinister takes on the Flying Kipper accident I've ever seen, where both the comedic and dramatic elements are in perfect sync. It's here where Henry's worries and frustration truly boil over, and he starts deluding himself into thinking he's ok because he's truly scared of what the alternative would be, even when James shows legitimate concern for him. It's here where Percy and Henry's bond shows through, because Percy could tell why Henry is so scared of failing, but he knows that if he does nothing then Henry would literally run himself to bits. It's hard for him, but he does it because he truly cares about Henry, and he knows Henry wouldn't ask for that kind of support himself, even if Henry would hate that in the moment. The episode then ends wonderfully as it shows Henry slowly accepting what Percy did, and showing Percy thanks for the help he provided, both physically and for his state of mind. To say this video is a masterpiece is a massive f***ing understatement, and the incredible quality of your incredible work only makes waiting future episodes all the more worthwhile. Don't ever stop doing what you love man.
It wouldn't be the first time: Don't forget that Trampy also demonstrated his impressive lung capacity when the _Kraka-Toa_ capsized in the joke dub of _Munitions._
23:28 I felt so bad for Henry, and even worst for Percy. Percy literally experienced a terrible accident, and the tone of his voice when Henry left with James just hits a feeling in my heart.🥺
Well this was a unexpected upload, but I’m not complaining I love the beginning with the engines, James spinning like a top and Percy not knowing what cuss words are is funny! I also like Percy and Henry’s dynamic in this one, they can be a good paring when they aren’t teasing each other. Percy misreading words is pretty funny but I like to think he’s still learning how to pronounce things. The set up for the crash in the beginning with James is nice and the kipper crash sounded pretty big too (also I think the night runs are starting to make james crazy). And before I forget I like the potential reference to Fish when Percy helped Henry up the hill. I also like Percy here, he may be naive but he does know when to be serious if someone is hurting themselves since it makes me think Percy’s had a similar experience. Fantastic job on Flying Kipper and I can’t wait to see Toby since I know there’s probably going to be some fun shenanigans with the old wooden box
I love how James being at the crash is explained as him being on the nightshift and the train Henry slammed face first into. It's little changes that like that i love about Trampy movies.
I genuinely like that Henry and Percy have more of an Older Brother and Younger Brother thing going on for each other. Percy genuinely cares for everyone and I love that about him. I also like that even if James gets annoyed at Gordon and Henry, he also shows genuine care for them if they're hurt or something like that. Great episode here.
This was the most INSANE episode I’ve seen yet from James’ mental breakdown, the crash, and the screaming AMAZING WORK Trampy plus the dynamic with Henry and Percy just wow keep up the great work ❤
I love how Trampy is already planting the seeds for Percy's eventual job pulling the Mail Train by establishing that he likes to wake up early.
Is that foreshadowing?
@@samsea0489That's coming from the engine who stayed up for 4 hours on his first day.
In the industry we call this foreshadowing.
Omg, I didn't even realise that
And also establishing percy becoming "put upon" and disillusioned with work with Henry's "you'll understand when you've been here for a long time" line.
The crash was horrifying to hear. Trampy really knows how to split the comedy from drama and horror.
I salute you.
Same! We need him as a writer / director for a possible Thomas the Tank Engine reboot.
The van screaming before Percy smashed it was harrowing
And then the silence after the driver shouted “Henry!” was heartbreaking.
@@alaricjaspers6348Oh yeah, and also tragic if you see it in this way: that van's last words with Percy was him complimenting Percy on pushing the train up the hill despite Percy struggling and the whole train mocking him all the way up the hill.

And he just replies, "Dumb stupid what?"

@@PCMan8922 Trust me.. if you were in between two Assholes in Blue & Green that argue for months, you'd be that easy to anger too.

Take care.
Gordon: "How degrading, pulling a smelly fish train!"
_Which also happens to be a non-stop priority named fast freight straight from the docks to the mainland_
James screaming on the turntable while everyone is bickering is pure comedy gold!
Also the part where the guard told James' fireman to forget his cocoa reminded me of 'forget the radio' quote from There Goes a Train!
Just Gordon and Henry but still hilarious.
Henry and Percy = Gordon and Thomas
Bickering brothers who secretly love each other. 💖
Percy hasn't really been the bickering type in this series so far, and he hasn't made his affection for others a secret at all.
Or something like that, I don't know. Like allies.
Not sure if Thomas and Gordon are there yet. I think Thomas currently DESPISES Gordon for not helping him and Edward when he first arrived, and condescending to him all the time. He clearly holds quite a grudge.
YES!
What About Edward And James?
James’ screaming while spinning on the turntable was just hilarious 😂
Yeah, I can't wait to see the day someone decides to animate this scene.

Henry: Is becoming Explosive and Angry

Best Trampy movie yet.
there's also the fact that James mentions that Crewe "isn't that bad" and then immediately denying knowing about it
something tells me James may have been sent there before joining the NWR
I mean Henry the green engine book was the turning point of the railway series.
You can tell that Henry is slowly warming up to Percy a little bit in comparison to his first appearance.😐
Still trying to figure out how James feels about him 🤨. And we all know what Thomas and Gordon think about Percy 😡
Edward is properly the only one that has ever treated Percy like an equal, like he did with Thomas. I feel that was a nice touch and a great cycle in terms of Edward's character.
It’s where he was converted to have an extra set of wheels in front ( His irl basis had 6 wheels no front pony truck)
Bear in mind that James is a L&YR engine design, and the L&YR was eventually absorbed into the LMS, who's primary workshop was Crewe. So Crewe could well have been James' old equivalent of Crovan's Gate.
STH: “I’ll send you to Crewe.”

Dude the crash scene was actually insane. I wasn't expecting it to sound like something EXPLODED.
i was anticipating this episode for the longest time and it does not disappoint. probably one of my favorites so far actually. not only does it respect the episode its directly inspired from, but the unique creative liberties it takes elevate the original so much. the first one right of the bat is the set up with james. when james criticizes the other engines for not showing any "concern or urgency" for someone in need. he stays true to this sentiment when henry crashes, as he asks henry if he was alright multiple times. and although he does this to a humorously degree, i'd agrue this just shows how much he cares about the engines he argue so often with. the second creative liberty is the setup for the trope of percy proving that others wrong about his strength, which was notorious in the show. i noticed that that scene kinda parallels edward's and gordon's push up the hill in the first episode, where gordon shows no thanks for edward's help. but in contrast, henry is much more encouraging and thanks percy of his assistance. another small thing would be the scene with the drivers talking about their experiences with the engines, it really humanizes them and it introduces really good banter. and lastly, i feel including percy in this in general elevates this whole episode in general. there is such a nice juxtaposition with an innocent engine such as percy witnessing first hand one of the most brutal and serious crashes in the series. its even better knowing that percy handles the situation with so much maturity and seriousness, especially when siding with james on henry being hurt. this was such a good episode trampy, great work as always
4:13 James's screams is pure gold

Honestly this entire thing was well worth the wait. I liked the joke between Percy and his driver at Wellsworth (with the latter just giving up instead of correcting him), and that Thomas’s guard was on board the train retelling a certain story about Thomas leaving him behind.

I genuinely loved how much Poor James was just going round and round on the turntable, and my heart almost broke hearing Percy saying good bye, like he was uncertain that he did the right thing, but holding out hope all the while.
Percy was quite serious Henry begged that he was alright, but Henry LITERALLY CRASHED INTO JAMES’ TRAIN OF STONE TRUCKS!!!!
THE KING IS BACK
So I’m now writing some stuff I liked.
1. First, I’m really liking Gordon and Henry’s rivalry now that Henry is getting closer to Gordon’s rank with the special coal. They really hate each other that they removed the concept of sharing out of their dictionary. Also James on the turntable was absolutely hilarious (also drink some water jeez XD)
2. I like how you were able to squeeze in the non important rws stories as little gags or mentions with James on the turntable and his guard mentioning him being left by Thomas. Also, Toby at the end?? 👀

This was really well done. I got a kick outta james spinning on the turntable while henry and gordon were arguing. And how james reacted to the nightshift. Henry and percys dynamic is really great. Big and little brother vibes
Gordon is the king of foreshadowing
I love how there is a solid minute of James screaming in the background with Gordon and Henry barely acknowledging it, lmao.
16:30 Poor Thomas😅😓
Also, I just love the way you tackled this one.

The way the crash was done made me more scared than any version with actual full motion ever did, holy moly that was great.
9:13 "Mmm...Henry, don't touch my coaches!" IM DYING LMAO
First flaming kisser and then the flipping tipper.
Percy is one of the most wholesome characters in this series
R.I.P Trampy's vocal cords
& R.I.P Henry The Green Engine
Rip both of them
It wouldn't be the first time: Don't forget that Trampy also demonstrated his impressive lung capacity when the _Kraka-Toa_ capsized in the joke dub of _Munitions._
@@Daniel_Huffmanor when he made James lose his shit in trampy 11 : percy
@@Daniel_Huffman"I WAS ABOUT TO RETIRE THIS WEEK!"
"He was alive?"
"Not for much longer."
23:28 I felt so bad for Henry, and even worst for Percy. Percy literally experienced a terrible accident, and the tone of his voice when Henry left with James just hits a feeling in my heart.🥺
Yeah at first I thought someone was cuttin’ onions somewhere nearby. But…I stand corrected 😢😭
James takes his insult back of wanting Henry to crash and die like a 'sick cow'.
Well this was a unexpected upload, but I’m not complaining
I love the beginning with the engines, James spinning like a top and Percy not knowing what cuss words are is funny!
These movies have great detail. Even mentioning how Sir Topham Hatt is about to meet Toby, well done.
I liked this moment between Henry and Percy, it evolves their friendship especially after their first encounter with each other
I love how James being at the crash is explained as him being on the nightshift and the train Henry slammed face first into.
I like how the engines talk like normal human beings and even curse at times, it makes their conversations feel very real
James screaming while Gordon and Henry continue their argument is peak comedy.
You can tell James still harbors alot of resentment towards to Gordon and Henry since the strike.
This was the most INSANE episode I’ve seen yet from James’ mental breakdown, the crash, and the screaming AMAZING WORK Trampy plus the dynamic with Henry and Percy just wow keep up the great work ❤
