My grandma told me when she took a trip to Egypt in 1987, while she's listening to this song in her walkman she saw a British man, two Japanese bachelors, a Frenchman, a native Egyptian and a Boston terrier dog walking together

What makes this song so awesome is it's just fun. My six year-old daughter was bored one day and I suggested I could teach her to "Walk Like an Egyptian." I introduced her to this song and the video, and she soon knew every word to the song. She was so proud she learned it when she was six and we did the dance together, breaking it out during the father-daughter dance at her wedding. One of my happiest moments as a dad, both the first time and the time at her wedding.

These ladies and their song will forever stay in our hearts forever. My young daughter and I would listen to this we would do the walk everytime. Brings back a beautiful memory of the past. "The Bangles" and their famous "Walk Like The Egyptians," will remain timeless.
LOL! Love how the title of the song is literally in the title of this video, and you still manage to get it wrong. That's dedication! 😂 And yeah, everyone was doing the crazy walk back then. It's silly, but silly is fun!
Notice how much space and silence there is after the sing the "Walk like an Egyptian" line? That's what made this and other anthems from that era really pop. There was a dynamic to the songs; they maintained the groove the entire time, but also let space happen. This song absolutely rocks, regardless of wether you think it's floop-dee-doo to like the Bangles. Admit it. Rock Like An Egyptian is a bonafide Rock anthem.

How is it possible to not like this song?
It's OK. Not all my friends have good taste either.
These ladies and their song will forever stay in our hearts forever. My young daughter and I would listen to this we would do the walk everytime. Brings back a beautiful memory of the past. "The Bangles" and their famous "Walk Like The Egyptians," will remain timeless.
Can't believe an ending song for Jojo became an international icon. Absolutely exquisite that the Stardust Crusaders had such potential
LOL! Love how the title of the song is literally in the title of this video, and you still manage to get it wrong. That's dedication! 😂
