You are right. Stock, Aitken and Waterman produced this, Dead or Alive gave them the raw song, which I've heard, and it's good but not as multi layered, catchy or slick as the finished number, and the little wobble in the sound that sounds so good was an accident in mixing. 35mm film has a resolution equivalent to 4k, 35mm IMAX film is equivalent to 6k, and 70mm IMAX film is around 12k. They apparently still had the film this video was shot on and used that instead of VHS tapes like most other music videos on UA-cam from this time. There’s a reason people still shoot on film even today, analog recordings always look better than digital. (and in musics case sound better.) Also most of the time “remastered” music videos are just upscaled by a computer and aren’t actually “remastered” which is why they look terrible, but there’s good ones like Wham’s Last Christmas that had tons of work put into them and look amazing. Last Christmas’ remaster had every scene redone by hand and it looks incredible.

What I appreciate the most about Pete Burns the most honestly are his confidence and voice. An awesome man until the end.

because it's remastered, the original video doesn't look this good, is an awesome work.
The singer looks at the camera with more intensity than my cat when I show him a piece of ham
