You can see that Chris does what he’s passionate about and he brings happiness and full bellies doing it. Jax went from being a fun loving guy from Montana to being a trusted road warrior with Dave Sparks and now racking up some smiles per hour with NASCAR. Can’t tell me positive energy doesn’t attract positive energy!!
What a great video! Who knew so much goes on behind the scenes with the truck drivers. Chris seems like such a grounded, down to earth, downright cool human being. Love the way you guys just seem to click. Heartwarming. By the way love the Freddie original on the intro. Man, that boy got the talent gene on steroids passed down to him!
Mother of Captain Ron here, I was just watching your video while also watching Sonoma Cup Series Racing.. love how you handle that duty as chief cook and bottle washer in addition to driving the big truck,,, keep up the great work.
Man you sure get to live the life of Riley eh ? Enjoy it bro gives you plenty of stories to tell your grandchildren. Watching these (Nascar) videos reminds me of 1985 in Daytona 3days spent inside the circle for the 500 . What a memory. I was 26 yrs. Old less than 1yr driving. What a memory.
Makes me wish my body would let me drive again if I could work with a crew like that. Good fellowship is great and something like that would not make it feel like a job. One of my part time jobs I would go in on my day off and grill out for the other guys working and it was always fun. Thanks for sharing
I think these folks have adopted you as one of their own. You have the personality to make them open up and speak. Very enjoyable series. Spent some years in Montana years ago, (like 1976). Lived in Florence and worked greenchain in Hamilton at Dunbars sawmill. Enjoying all of your content from Bakersfield, Calif.
I am loving these series of videos. It's probably because I'm from a family of truck drivers who ranch and have grown up with Nascar all my life.. You re a good man Jax and Chris (Carolina reaper) can cook for me anyday on the trail or track !!
This is SO awesome Jax!!! I immediately thought different about him cooking supper for all the guys. I equated his cooking to your playing in your band. It's VERY obvious how much love you have for the music and the folks who come to see you! I saw this with Chris and the love that he has for making the entire crew happy to have a great meal! I tell you Jax, I absolutely love this part of your trucking life and hope it continues into your future!! A huge thank you for bringing us along on your adventure buddy!!!
Mr. Chris is officially my favorite driver, teddy bear, chef and all around fella ever. Just such a huge heart and man I pray he’s not taken advantage of, in the Lords name Amen!! 🥰 But also thankful for you documenting and give us all this behind the scenes so you fill your own top favorite lists ☺️
What a job! Certainly some characters! Looks like they all have alot of fun while working! Jax I'm glad you took this opportunity to show us the behind the scenes of a Nascar trucker!
I really enjoyed the commentary that you guys have I'm glad you guys have fun in to make your job as fun as it can be I understand the team owners can be kind of a pain in the ass if you will but they got to let you guys as drivers relief drivers have your fun and you know what the camaraderie between the drivers the crew that's what needs to happen all the way around that way everybody has the love instead of just a certain team if everybody came together like you guys used to do I think it would be a better camaraderie you know and then once once you guys hit the truck then it's game on not everybody doing some himself because that gets costly especially like what you said you know you guys have to hit the truck stops to some of the truck stop food is not good food from the truck stop some the mom-and-pop ones yes but you know Heaven good meals makes a happy driver makes a safe driver
This was a different side of racing that was AWESOME to watch. I think I enjoy watching and seeing the haulers more than the race itself. A+ HUGE Thanks
Two blocks of cream cheese, two cans of chicken breast drained and mix the two together adding black pepper. Green or yellow relish works well mixed in it. Makes a great dip with Keebler thick crackers. Or spread on Ritz.
I started Driving Saturday August 28,1976 on my first hitchhiking trip to LA from NYC at age 15. Retired Friday June 14,2019. Was trying out for upstaging transport band equipment for Rock bands in the mid 80s. But with 3.5 plus million miles over the years, I do miss the chitchat sessions with drivers. Thanks for the video, told some Georgia drivers about your channel.
Cool that you are showing what goes on behind the hauler. Raw potatoes is a good remedy for a hangover. JS ! Get Jalapeno's with the lines on the skin , they have the heat.
When we got held up over the weekend one of us would at least have a grill it was a little one, back in the day you can’t carry those little propane tanks in your truck so you had to buy them when you got to the truckstop and somebody would run to the store and pick up some bottles and we would cook know where you’re coming from!!❤
I work with Ed Whitaker's son. Ed owned Whitaker racing in Bristol VA. His wife fixes stuff for us sometimes. His son always talks about the old days in the pits eating.
Jax, thank you for the great journey with you , Chris and the other guys. I found the video very enjoyable and interesting. The camaraderie is great. Sounds like a great job, but plenty of work involved. Chris’s culinary skills are 10/10. Keep up the good content.
Wow, what a great bunch of great people. This is really fun stuff to watch. That is camp cooking 5 star style. Respect, Freddy Allen, awesome. Thank you all!
I've worked lots of events in the past and I can tell you food is so important for team morale, The Carolina Reaper has a huge amount of responsibility but he looks good doing it 😁👍 Everyone looks like they get on so well and you're fitting right in there Jax, I love this stuff!
It’s just so awesome what you are doing with this. I’m a huge NASCAR fan and as you said in your first video, not much in the way of drivers as far as content out there. 🏁🤜
Congrats on all the views your getting, I've been watching for a long time and always knew you would make it on the tube. Your editing has got way better too. Looks like your enjoying yourself too, keep up the great work.
I really appreciate you for sharing your experiences with us. I’ve been thinking about giving up the reefer life to move onto hauling for a race team. This is inspiring bro, keep up the great work and content 💪🏾
Another great video! Chris is one of old school guys. Few years back before the pandemic, we had hot passes for the entire weekend in the fall at Kansas (yes I was in hog heaven) but I did see several of the xfinity and cup guys out grilling more than just hamburgers. Itt smelled so good. Saw your guy got 7th today Sonoma, Justin is a great racer. I am already for Sept for Kansas for some good racing, the spring cup race was a dang good race. Se d some positive vibes to my man Harvick he needs to get a big W soon! Stay safe out there and watch out for those crazy drivers
Y’all need a PO Box so we can send y’all stuff to aid in your shenanigans..from pranks, searches (or lost vehicles 😂) to cooking and just comfort on the road. Would be nice to support those that make it all possible. Maybe it’s just me but I highly doubt it.
Just catching up on your videos buddy been trucken in the out back and my reception for my phone and my laptop was shot the whole time luckily the stations at wifi for me kids great quality video mate
