NASCAR HAULERS LEAVING DOVER - AND IT'S QUITE THE SHOW

- I've never been to Dover Motor Speedway, much less watched the Haulers leave. It's quite a show. The trucks come down the backstretch and make a right turn up the banking and an immediate left while transitioning to a gravel surface. Its tight, has an elevation change, leans the tractor and trailer two directions and causes a bunch of wheel spin if the driver isn't 105% perfect.
BTW - Denny's hauler was still open in the garage by the time the rest left. Sorry. - Спорт
These guys are the unsung heroes of NASCAR. Great respect. Thanks for posting this.
Has always amazed me how quickly they scurry and pack up as soon as the checkers wave…like watching the circus move to a new city…truly incredible logistical job!
Were the unsung hero’s of America and US Gov, DOT and State Parrot I mean State Patrol whipping stick😂😂😂.
Should’ve had the yellow rookie stripe on the 48 hauler 😅
That was very apparent his lack of experience, especially when pulling a spread axle 🤣🤣
wow everybody stop . When we are hauling by the load these drivers are Killing me
@@ronald6138 what does how we haul have anything to do with this!?
yea looks like he forgot to lock his differential beforehand and paid for it there. good save though it bucked a bit.
yup i was about ready to throw him under the hauler but you got tyhat already
Man some of the haulers came inches of hitting that wall on the way out!!😮
Hauler DRIVERS with impressive talent. Building in no danger whatsoever. ❤️ 3:13 ✝️🇺🇸‼️
Hmm! Got to know how to navigate those angles when they are tight situations! #Keepontruckin 😉👍💯
They learned that by watching Nascar drivers 😂😂😂😂😂
That's normal everyday trucking for ya.
That's normal everyday trucking for ya.
These drivers are awesome! Thanks again for filming them!
It's safe to say the best drivers in the world.
@@joneckert8299Totally agree 💯
It’s suddenly hard to drive a truck and trailer ?
Every team driver has my respect. Great job guys. Some of you missing the pole on the left by inches. You guys are the best of the best!!
I've been to Dover about 9 times and I never stayed to watch this. Here I thought Bristol was the hardest for haulers to leave. Wow. Thanks for posting this.
I used to drive a mobile TV truck and did some of the Craftsman series truck races and some Bush races. I have never been to Dover, but Bristol was a kick, driveing partially around the track was fun, but a very steep track for a full size semi with a spread axle like all of the race car drivers. As a woman who drove a truck, there are plenty of scenarios that will separate the Men from the Boys… or in my case the Woman from the little girl. 😂 squeezing into tight places and for me backing into places most truckers would never make it… all in a day work.
Back in the day when we were allowed in the infeild for the race. We couldn't leave until all of the team houlers left the track
Every one of them is so CLEAN...
Thanks for showing this. I wish I could get that close to watching the Haulers pull out of Dover.
Back in the Day they pulled their Race Cars with a Tow Bar behind a Station Wagon and they slept in the back of a Station Wagon .
Way back in the day!
Best show I've seen in while. Thanks for sharing.
Just as good a show as the race...in a whole different way
All the petes looked super sweet!! Especially Stewart haas.
This way better than the crap the serve up on commercial TV here in the land down under, where women glow and men plunder. Thanks for sharing
Awesome, thank you for posting. Interesting behind the scenes view. We were there Saturday for the first time. Very cool!
Those 23XI haulers are SHARP
Holy twisted frame and broken driveline Mr weaver! Lol. Good job as always sir.
Thanks for taking the time to film this, Cool.
So many guys watching this that have never driven a truck thinking "man that guy slipped the tires, I could do way better" because 1 time they towed a U-haul trailer behind their SUV.
Must be a trucker..uggghh😅
Lol like those tires slipping had to do with the driver and not the angle of the road
You forgot about the weight with the spare engines and body parts they carry as well not to mention workshop tools
@@tomg1480 nope just making a joke.
I mean, they all slipped.
I have to say, watching these trucks make that transition has been entertaining. Nice job!
Got them power dividers locked in 😊
As a 30yrs OTR and Regional thank you for this vid- great to see my brothers showing people our capabilities even under difficult circumstances. I personally would invest in a more short nose better wheel based unit, but they got the money lol:-)👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Live in Delaware my whole life until this past year. Never been to the downs so this is a sweet insight
Interesting how some of the lower level teams have the better operators. Hendrick needs to replace the 48 driver with the 47 driver
JTG just had a good weekend lol, unfortunate how the car finished...
Yeah and some of those lower funded teams have nicer looking haulers 😂😂
“Smoke” has the best looking tractors in the field 😊😊😊😊
Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one
@@leroynew1776 LoL the truth hurts yup I'm an a ahole but I speak the truth
Man, what a funky setup! Reminds me of some of the places I’ve delivered-designed for straight trucks or no trucks! The real show though was the woman waving for the drivers to blow the horn and her hollering after. She was drinking the good stuff.😉
She was a PIA. Those drivers were watching what they were doing and she was being an ass by distracting them She should have been run off. Being a drunken clown ass, a serious risk to all. Per my husband and I agree with him.
Or smoking the good stuff lol
Looks tight to me when they turn left to exit the trailer comes close to rail on the left side of the exit very good professional driver s my hats off to them I drove for almost 30 years take care.
The trucking I do is similar. I move concerts around the country. There’s many places that didn’t put much thought to the idea that someday someone will be driving a 70’ long vehicle through…
I guess if it was easy anyone could it😂
For someone reason the trucking aspect gets left out of every scenario, until……😂😂😂
These guys are the ones with constant pressure on them! Expensive cargo on board! 23's Nice!
Thanks, to whomever caught these " Beautiful" rigs. All of them, are beautiful.
Me! That was me! Your welcome and check out my playlist “NASCAR HAULERS” for more
I'm a truck driver for 25+ years. I just watched this whole video while I was taking a break at a truck stop in my sleeper.
Got your back haul yet hahaha lol?
Besides, Stewart/Haas “Smoak” had the best looking hoods 😂😂😂
Lotta money going out that gate!!!!$$$ ❤️😁🚘
Nice video Chris Thank you for sharing a nice video of The NASCAR Cup Series Haulers 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊It is a tight Turn For Those trucks😳
Might it be a temporary exit? I noticed the golf carts and civilian vehicles going straight while the transporters turned left. As others have mentioned, the gate on the left side almost left its mark on a few trailers (and one driver was like, "Gear! Gear! Accelerate! WTF?!").
It's been a minute since I've been to Dover (my "home" track), but I remember they exited on the East side, near the start/finish line.
In any event, excellent video, and thanks for posting! The transporters look better than they did back in the heyday (and they didn't look too shabby then💖👍🏼 )!
Beyond this tight left turn - the route puts the trucks straight out onto the highway. A right turn like the cars and golf carts is a tight maze through a huge parking lot full of cars and not designed for large vehicles.
Amazing rigs! 👍💪 Regards from Sweden 🇸🇪
These wonderful drivers need to get the respect they deserve. If it wasn't for these guys hauling these race cars NASCAR wouldn't exist. Watching the haulers has become one of my guilty pleasures.
They drive a truck, they’re not shuttle commanders!
You’re exactly right and thank you:-). Although NASCAR would still exist, would just be in 1 city😂😂😂
They should get the number 48 truck an automatic.
Probably don’t want to park anywhere near him. 😂
He was on the struggle bus for sure!
That truck is an automatic.
They need another driver.
@@feelnritequick to judge are we. Young driver, just needs more time. He will be just fine.
In Vegas, they have the Truckers parade. They line up leaving Southpoint Hotel, the Vegas Strip is shutdown for them, they parade their way through heading to the Vegas Speedway. Pretty sweet.
I always watch I don't usually comment but I love that you do this thanks🤗😁
I appreciate that!
Nice....thanx for the show! Roll on....
Thank you for the video!! God Bless
Thanks for showing them guys pulling out of Dover to ❤
Just beautiful!!! From Ohio
That was awesome, thanks for sharing
Wowza! Thanks for sharing this.
I had an overnight NAPA parts delivery route and would occasionally see those haulers go by. Lit up and in the hammer lane on I-70 in the wee hours of the morning. Move over and let em go by.
Wish everyone thought like that, but you’ll occasionally get the slow grandma with high beams looking off into space or the pot smoker swerving while texting and rolling🤦♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏽♂️
Awesome video!! Thanks ❤
Not a trucker-friendly entry/exit, but you can always bet them 379 Petes il' show ya how its done, last of the cowboys👍
Great footage this week
Man hats off to these drivers but I must admit give me that beautiful prevost motor coach.
Props to the Spire Drivers the all gave a little blow of the horn to say were comin across... they were the first and only team for them all to do it...
Good behind scenes stuff here!!! Good stuff anyway of them all just leaving.
At least the 23 hauler has a qualified driver!
That's more than can be said for the car 23.
@joneckert8299 that's for sure!!!
Dam they need to do something with that exit! But the haulers are sweet!
Whether you watch NASCAR or not (and I don’t) you gotta admit, this is an awesome spectacle
Wow they give these guys no room to maneuver at all...good drivers!
Those rigs are absolutely beautiful and big !
That was my dream job as a kid going to race tracks and seeing the haulers blow by you on the highway after the event on their way back to their base or on to the next event.
Thanks for sharing
Hauler drives are the true hero’s of nascar. They haul the cars/equipment, help unload everything, cook for the team, help with the gas cans, and so much more. They’re definitely the backbone of these nascar teams. Was Cirkul at the race? They was at the Dega race a couple of Sunday, giving out the Cirkul water bottles.
Say what you will about Tony Stewart. But his team runs some clean ass rigs!
Great video!
If there’s one thing I learned about driving semi trucks over the years, a lot of places, space, gravel or bad parking lot are not designed with trucks in mind. They keep spinning on that gravel while turning out.
Just plain beautiful.
Wow, That's a good way to twist up frames and get everything out of alignment...
With the amount of money that place makes, they can't pave that section of road so these spotless rigs don't get all dusty as they exit? At least water it down slightly to keep the dust down.
Probably wait until someone snaps an axle or driveshaft comes out and everyone is stuck.. those haulers are to valuable to losing traction especially at the track at spot they need to pull the trailer up
It’ll be under review once that building gets taken out- gotta be a reason first hahaha lol
looks like the #48 was breaking in a new driver
I had the same observation, and some people on here made some nasty comments about it. Don’t you love it when everyone’s an expert? 🥴 I used to watch them pulling out of Sonoma, and it was impressive for sure🇺🇸
Cool well done Chris!
Seems like an awful place to have gravel.
Whoa! I didn't know that Bowman drives his own hauler!! LoL
Brad K spared no expense
Impressive for so many reasons.😎👍
The rigs that had the single tire on the drive axles didnt spin like the tandem tires did when they drove thru the sand at the top of the ramp. Interesting to see the difference.
I'm trying to wrap my head around the cost of those beautiful machines and the contents inside.
48 must have been a former swift driver.
🤣
Schneider or JB Hunt lol, but more than likely Swift😂🤦🏽♂️😂🤦🏿♂️😂🤦♂️!!!
Can’t believe that area is so full of loose rocks, kicking up all over those nice trailers.
They need to do this ALL the time.
They nedd to Pave the driveway there at Dover and you wont get the Rock throwing Damage from the Drives trying to claw their way up that incline hill leaving the Track
That’s a pretty tight turn. Struggling with traction.
It takes a skilled driver. To drive those rigs
Awesome video awesome nice big rigs. Someone need to get BJ McKay
I could be mistaking but I thought they use to leave on the front stretch, there were 2 gates that would open up, watched the haulers leave in late 80s and early 90s, I could be wrong
I guarantee in at least one of these trucks, there is Life is a Highway playing
Very good angles, of the angles. 😅 yeah those Hendricks drivers are a little lack luster compared to most others. I never understood why they stop on an incline like that, they should already be on their right gear selection before even coming up the banking. 🤦♂️
They need to get ALL the camper’s out of the Race track as well. ASAP.
A lot of them left just before the haulers. Those guys were ready to go!
See you at the next one Drive Carefully!
Yea I’d love to drive for one of them
Ppl have no idea how rough it truly is behind the wheel lol, those newer trucks light up like a Christmas tree when the traction breaks and it's aggravating as hell when the atc alarm continues to go off. Fully loaded + the banking at dover = loss of traction. Support your local truck drivers better yet truck drivers world wide because we not only move America and build America we can also stop America but many ignorant drivers don't realize it.
5:27 was a close call 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks like super singles for the win at traction on loose gravel
You would think that they would have better & big enough ways to get in and out of these race tracks
man the are getting close to that gate
Wonder if McDowell's rig gets free fuel at Love's truck stops
When did Dover stop using the front stretch gate?
Such a large venue it's hard to believe the egress path is still dirt.
I thought Bristol was bad for the trucks to get out but I think Dover just took that one away that is close
Difficult turns to make in these trucks
Big nasty torque monsters in action. My choice is the Prevost; can sell my house to pay for 1/2 of it!
Respect ✊️ 🙏
I wonder how they keep these rigs so clean..
They get washed each week before parking though some teams if time will wash before leaving the shop so clean on the road
Are their spread axles more than 10’ apart?
