Your tulips 🌷 are gorgeous! Your neighbors are blessed to have such beautiful flowers to enjoy while walking by. Mishka looks so cute sitting amongst the tulips; he's adorable!
What a gorgeous blend of tulips!😍😍😍 I grew my very first 25 bulbs called prince mix! All 25 are in bloom right now looking so pretty in pastel pink, salmon, purple and a few white! ❤❤
I love that you used the petal carpet in your design. Very artistic. That’s the magic of using the seasonal changes to create passages in the garden that come and go.
This was so pretty, love the combinations. Will try to over summer some of my tulips as I garden in such a small space and can't keep all the tulips in the ground. Thanks Yulia, I always learn so much from you!
I over winter some of my tulips 🌷 ever year in the North East. I have done it for years. I have never hear of anyone doing it. I’m glad to not be alone. I like having my old plants feel like new plants also they flower.
Beautiful!!! Definitely worth the work!! Love the color palette that's my favorite. The pedals or magical! I love that! It covered the road I live on It looked amazing! Thank you for sharing!!🌷
I did learn something new watching this video - over summering! Definitely will experiment when my tulips are at that point. Nice to know you buy from the big box stores not just speciality nurseries. Thank you!
Oh how beautiful 🤩 It’s snowing 🌨️ 😮😊 That makes your tulips 🌷 💚all the more splendid 🌷☃️❄️I hope that the snow doesn’t hurt them?? They look even more exquisite with the delicate snowflakes ❄️❄️❄️ falling on and around them. Everything looks perfect 👌🏻😊I am Julia from subtropical Australia. Your video was interesting Thanks so much Yulia I am growing tulips, 🌷daffodils and hyacinths 🪻for the first time since we have moved to Qld from cold Victoria, so I’m hoping that they all grow here. My bulbs are chilling in the fridge. I am hoping that we get near freezing temperatures again this winter 🥶 Yulia, you are an amazing gardener and landscaper 🌲🌳🌴
So beautiful! I have serious tulip envy because the deer would eat them all in my area, so I enjoy your gorgeous garden even more! Thank you for sharing it with us. 😊
A couple yrs ago I lifted my tulips and daffs, I bought a bunch of dahlias and realized I didn't have room for them. I dug them while they were still green, boxed them and covered them with a bit of compost, then left them in the sun til the leaves died back, put them in the shed and it worked great for me. And I didn't remove the leaves, it helped my know what was what, sorry I have no names for those. I lifted the dahlias last autumn and planted the tulips and daffs in those holes.
@@willaerley7140 I just took up everything from 2 large planters, did the same again. I'm curious about the tulips tho, they were horrible, bloomed all the way down in the foliage, no stem at all. If they're the type that return, I hope they're much nicer next time around.
Getting all the tulips you ordered? Almost impossible 😂 i always have orange tulips in my beds i never asked for. At least it was "brown sugar" which works well with the purples... Have purple doll as well..looks great with camassia caeeulea and i want to try some euphorbia for lime green tones in the future. The pink petals on the ground look amazing!
It's always fun watching these spring ephemeral videos. I'm in the deep south, so I'm already having to start thinking about summer planting because my cool flowers are about toast 😅
14:13 this is mose astonishing mulching possible. Truly magical scene, I feel so blessed to be able to see the ephemeral cherry blossom waste crowning the tulip show. Thank you so much for am amazing video!
Thanks for sharing tips on storing bulbs! I have some gorgeous double Darwin tulips that have gotten sparse after 3 years. I will try “over-summering “ to see if I can save them
You also have the Queen of the Night tulips near a hosta. That hosta must love it there because its boggy. Tulips dont like that either. They still look amazing near the liriope tho. 😊
Thank you for existing Laing about Lily tulips. I want to plant some for next spring. They are my favorite too, especially because lilies are my favorite flowers❤️
Your garden is beautiful as always!! I am glad you had better experience with Longfield gardens. I have purchased a few bags from Costco of Longfield garden roots and bulbs, but unfortunately some were mislabeled. My biggest disappointment was when I bought a bag of beautiful double daffodils and they started blooming this spring with tiny white and yellow daffodil flowers that were not very noticeable. Maybe next time I'll have better luck 😀
Your gardens are so beautiful, the tulips are stunning. I planted new tulips last fall and today I saw that something has actually taken the tulip heads off. We have notice a chipmunk and a rabbits, so thinking one of them is the corporate. Thanks for sharing your beautiful gardens. 👍❤️😊
Beautiful Tulip tour! Thank you for taking us along. Will have to re-watch as I am already putting together my list of spring flowering bulbs I need to order to plant this fall.
Love your tulips and whole garden. Was surprised that you overwinter them have aways been told to treat them as a annual ( zone 5) Indiana aways order from Colorblends and never had a problem with not being true to what is shown and have great selection
That cherry tree is gorgeous! My favorite color tulips are the bold bright colors. I love to mix the reds, orange, purple, pink. Yellow. The ones you over summered were my favorite color. And I always buy the Darwin because they always come back beautifully
Gorgeous! Thanks for names of tulips. .Do you dig all up? Would like more details about over summering. I would love to plant more, but am worried about the transition time of letting the foliage dry. out.
So beautiful! I wish I had better luck with tulips. The ones I stored in my refrigerator didn’t do well. Yet, the last minute ones I bought and planted late bloomed! Maybe I won’t bother with the refrigerator anymore.
Just gorgeous! I'm curious. I live in zone 6B (Rhode Island). I think my climate is similar to yours. I planted my bulbs in liners (Trade pots with great drainage holes) this year because I lost so many tulip bulbs that were in large stone planters last year. We had a wet winter and they rotted. Do you recommend I move the liners outside or bring them into the garage for the summer? Will they store well in a plastic pot without shaking off the dirt? Can I let them dry out or will they need water?
Your tulips are positively stunning as is the rest of your garden. (I love the scene with Mishka in the background like a perfect statue). ♥️🐕♥️ I also live on a corner in a neighborhood with many dog walkers. Do you have any issues with people letting their dogs pee and or walk on your plants? I’m astonished and disappointed that my neighbors let their dogs do this! I was wondering if you had any advice on this problem.
Yulia, great video as always. It would be wonderful to see a video about bulbs with you. Just how you dig those bulbs, when and how you split or not split them and where and how you store them... Some of my bulbs naturalize too well. I would like to split them, but not sure how to proceed and afraid to destroy them in the process. I found a british video on how to split and spread snowdrops, and tried to transplant some daffodil bulbs, but they didn't survive. Help! 🙂
Thank you for sharing. Your gardens are just stunning and so inspirational.
Your tulips 🌷 are gorgeous! Your neighbors are blessed to have such beautiful flowers to enjoy while walking by. Mishka looks so cute sitting amongst the tulips; he's adorable!
Thank you!
Your garden is beatyful, nice sharing 🌺💐💐
Wow magical isn’t a strong enough word. The cherry tree blossoms falling in the tulips are spectacular.
Thank you I’m always learning from you.
What a gorgeous blend of tulips!😍😍😍

Love how you blended the colors to form a tapestry, so beautiful 😍
What beautiful blending of tulips 🌷 ❤
I love that you used the petal carpet in your design. Very artistic. That’s the magic of using the seasonal changes to create passages in the garden that come and go.

I love the black tulips with the flower snow 🖤
Mishka in the tulips would make a nice calendar page! Your designs are so helpful to me.
Aww, thank you!

We have deer as well. The backyard area is fenced and the sidewalk garden is treated by New Jersey Deer control and it works!
LOVELY.....LOVELY....LOVELY !!!! Thank you for sharing.
Just so beautiful, Yuliya, thanks.
Thank you for the tour! Your tulips are beautiful. My Kwanza cherry blossoms would dye my pond pink! jd

That’s interesting! I’ll have to try it. I hate waiting for the leaves to yellow.
Yes, that works too

Mislabeling is a big issue. I was pleasantly surprised that the ones from Longfield came true to variety 😁
@@ydoyougarden Last year I put in a bunch of Thalia daffs that all came up yellow instead of white.
Beautiful Yuliya! 🌷💚🙃
Spectacular. I love your color combinations.
Stunning! ❤️
Beautiful! I have pink petal mulch everywhere too 😂
I am hoping you do a video when you dry out and store your tulips. Ty!

I love your videos! Thanks for the over-summering idea. I can do this with my potted tulips so I can reuse the container this summer!
I love tulips! I really like the selection of tulips you have, specially Queen of Night. Your garden is magical.
Absolutely stunning!
I love your garden. Been watching your garden in all the seasons. Absolutely stunning. Keep sharing your beautiful garden😊
A rain of cherry petals and a dog that poses for pictures :) Magical ineed!

I’ve never heard of Longfield garden before. Looks like they have great prices and selection.

So gorgeous, Yulia! I'm afraid to plant tulips in my front yard because we have so many deer. I love seeing your garden to vicariously enjoy it.
We have deer too. Medium pressure but I spray
