Funnily enough, Coco actually has the lowest speed out of every character, at 2/7. She's only chosen for her 6/7 Handling because Nitro Kart has awful turning physics.

And because in cnk if you hit a turbo pad every charecter speed becomes 6/7​@@CesarTorres61296

@@CesarTorres61296 that and boost speed in CNK is just Boost Speed, there is no Difference in boosting speed between the characters so the higher turning stat is preferred since theres quite literally no downside, the only reason Speed characters are preferred for Tiny Temple is that you have to boost a lot on straights and Coco just slams into the walls on the zero-g spiral section since she's too good at turning
