This video being 6 years still helped. On how to use the newest universal style K-cup adapter. Couldn’t get the piece to pull out to use the adapter it was in pretty tight. Thanks for the video
This is my 2nd Keurig coffee maker of this model. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf The first worked fine for more than 2 years, and I could still get a decent cup of coffee out of it if I fiddled with it when I decided to replace it. The problem I had with my first unit was this: When attempting to brew a cup of coffee, the unit would either keep brewing until the coffee was undrinkable or it would not run long enough and the coffee produced was way too strong. I cleaned the unit as best I could but it did not help. So in the end it was just too much trouble to get a good cup of coffee out of it, so I decided to replace it with a new one, which has been working great since I unpacked it.
I can not even begin to thank you for this video! I have a Keurig that is several years old and today I bought a “My K-Cup” at Target. I read the enclosed instructions and then when I tried it, it was too big to fit. I was about to take it back tomorrow when I chanced upon your video. You show how to take out the insert from the coffee maker and after that, it was all good! Thank you so much for making this video! You saved me a ton of trouble! Great work, sir!
Love your accent! A British friend of mine gave me a Keurig. He had a stainless steel k-cup substitute. Your advice about using other grinds made a lot of sense. With the stainless steel k-cup the grounds getting stuck in the filter wouldn't be a problem. Great video!
Oh no! I ran out of Keurig cups! I did have the resueable filter and tried using it was once but couldn't remove the one from the Keurig. I thought I wasnt using it properly so no coffee. I ran out of Keurig cups again and I found you and your simple video. Yay coffee time! Thank you
Awesome video. Bought a keurig k50 and the reusable filter. Would have broken it if I didn’t watch this video. Also, the coffee detective is correct about coarse grinding being too weak. Ground beans as if a normal drip coffee maker and it came out perfect. Thank you.
Thanks a bunch. I was having trouble removing mine, and didn't want to chance breaking it. So I thought I'd watch a how-to video first. I now know, and it worked like a charm. Yay!
Thanks for posting this. A lot of good coffees aren't available in K-cup form, and this device provides an answer as to how a Keurig owner can get around this problem.
Thank you so much, my wife and I got a K-Compact for our wedding and we're just now setting it up. We didn't realize the inner part could be removed and we just stared at the My K-Cup like "Uhhh now what?"! XD
The k Kip papers don’t work correctly in my k Kupp holder either. I actually thought a paper filter would catch all the grounds and it doesn’t. There’s still grounds and a big mess. It’s a waste. Back to k Kupp.
Thank you, I just bought a Keurig I love the convenience but I also want to be able to tree use my own coffee. I couldn't figure it out. No directions on how to use the filter
Thanks. You're right, a poor design. I would have never thought, despite the directions, this holder would come out. I tried without viewing your video and wasn't comfortable pulling the holder hard enough. After your video iit was no problem. Thanks again. Tom
What is the deal with the K200 "Plus" brewers that stopped allowing us to select a brew type (such as carafe or travel mug?) My Girlfriend has a newer oasis colored K200 Plus and doesn't have these six options. My slightly older black colored K200 allows me to choose between all six options after inserting the My K-Cup reusable pod. Any thoughts as to why? I contacted Keurig customer service and they claim that the My K-Cup is not compatible with the carafe, ignoring the fact that the options exist on my brewer.
Probably the most important reason to use the Reusable filter is that once you use a regular coffee pod, it goes into a landfill where it will stay for the next 10,000+ years. Using Reusable pods is the most ecologically friendly option. So when you are saving your grounds for compost you can pat yourself on the back TWICE! ;-)

I watched the first 6 "how to use the my k cup" videos and yours was the only method that worked with my model for removing the original holder.

Thank you! You are truly the Coffee Detective.
Thank you, looked at this video before watching the one for Keurig compact. This is information I needed.

This is exactly what I needed to know. Thank you
Excellent video... answered all my questions
Thanks for the UA-cam. This make real watery coffee. What method did you come up with the make a cup of coffee like a K-Cup brew?
Thanks for the clarification on grind...can't figure out why Keurig recommends coarse grind...great video.
The screen is very fine mesh . The reg grind coffee will clog the screen and therefore make a mess.
Thank you, I just bought a Keurig I love the convenience but I also want to be able to tree use my own coffee. I couldn't figure it out. No directions on how to use the filter

Tee hee 😂😂🤣 10,000+ years (in my Olaf voice)
Thank you for this video!

+speed488 You're very welcome!
Qual o preço aqui no Brasil
Or push from the bottom
Baaaaahhahaaa! I damn near stabbed the poor MY K-Cup to death trying to get it to fit in there. 😂😂😂😂 Thanks for the video
There are generic paper filters that fit inside the basket. Not perfect but they work for me!
