I won't be upgrading yet, but it's nice to see DJI move forward even if incrementally. Some, like myself, did not run out and buy the Mini 3 last year and are still using Mini 2.
100% agree. Thanks Mr C.
I got the mini 3 Non Pro and fly with the plus batteries. It's a dream come true for sheer simple use. I get average 35-40 minute flights.
@@aloeisthestuff9622just don’t get caught with the extra weight of the batteries in the drone 👍🏼😉
The enhanced range of the transmitter is a big selling point. Great for getting signal around trees.
Thanks for the information Sean! I'd been waiting for this to get itself sorted out... fingers crossed for an easily usable unit for UK & EU travel from the states. My M2Pro has just grown old!
I’m still very happy with my DJI mini 2 … I think they’re perfect to learn with as you actually need to be aware of your surroundings without having the obstacle avoidance as a safety net. I’ve had my mini 2 for two years now, I have been recently thinking of upgrading to the mini 3 pro as I have a little side hustle going on, earning a bit of pocket money which has paid for my drone a few times over. It’s pretty cool as they’re fun to fly and to get paid to do it is a nice bonus. In fact, I might even wait until the mini 4 pro has been out for a little while to drive down the price of the mini 3 pro. Thanks for the video.
Thanks again for the info Shaun 👏👏
The mini 4 pro looks surprisingly really good and if comes with the stacked sensor it will be worth the upgrade especially if you’re coming from a mini 2 like me.
Great video tks
I have the mini 3 pro, and I have the Mavic 3 pro, but I would still very much like The 4 pro because it will have some of the advantages of both plus more and will therefore complement those drones.
I have been using the mini 3 pro for a while now and I’m looking forward for this
Any word on whether this will have waypoints in video? I've missed it ever since my 3dr solo (rip) all those years ago. That had waypoints and cablecam etc etc. Just been using the original air since then as I wanted something small but don't see much point in upgrading, for my use case, without that feature 😢
i just want to know if the sensors and the firmware...will let us see the 5 camera views...so you can look around or maybe even a 360 pan view..
Current owner of the DJI Mini 2, which has been a fantastic drone, however given the specs on the 4 Pro (especially the omnidirectional sensors given some of the environments I fly in) I'm definitely considering upgrading. Will wait to see a month or two of actual user reviews first though.
I'm a new Mini 2 SE owner and I love it! Maybe digging deeper into this drone-world and getting a model 3 or 4 later. Who knows..
The SE is amazing! Very capable and the perfect starter point. The jump to 3 or 4 would be worthwhile with a lot of new features!
Any info about optical avoidance on sides ? For me it’s very important I like to fly on troodos mountains since I live in Cyprus …
Fantastic breakdown!
I am keeping my DJI Ryze Tello😅
I've owned a DJI Mavic 2 Zoom since 2018 and love it. It is well cared for and flying perfectly. I did need to purchase three new batteries due to swelling. I'm tempted to buy a Mini 4 Pro RC but not before I find a buy for the "Old" Mavic.
Do you think the DJI RC (the old one with phone attached) will be usable with the mini 4 pro?
I'm still happy with the Mini 2. I don't use it enough to consider an upgrade but, even if I did, I would want some reasonable surety that the sub 250g privileges are here to stay and, since completing that survey, I am not sure ... Of course, if my 2 loses a motor whilst over the sea ... well, then I'll get a 4!!
Yes the uncertainty over sub 250g doesn't help but at least any changes are likely to be after 2026 and should be procedural rather than restrictions, hopefully...
This seems like a pretty good drone, considering its not more expensive than the mini 3 pro and boasts improved specs and features. I currently own the Avata and a mini 2, but I couldn't see myself upgrading to another mini drone. I'm planning on getting a Mavic 3 variant because the ability to change the aperture just sold me. If the Air 3 had the same feature, it would probably be in my bag already 😆
Will the mini 3 battery fit the mini 4???
I like the Mini 3 and mini 4 but i just cant fly a drone anymore without at least a 70mm (additional) camera. Love it for my pro gigapixel photography. I guess i will skip it and continue flying the Mavic 3 pro and air 3.
I'm looking at purchasing my first uav and was gunna go sub 250g and after this news I'm gunna wait to see what's what before I pull the trigger
Will the Mini 4 Pro be available right on the 25th or will it be a preorder situation?
I have only just purchased the dji mimi pro 3. What should one do? I love my mini pro 3. Let’s wait and see. Thank you
PS - Thanks for a great video
I could be tempted, once its launched and tested by others 😊
Yes the tests will be interesting. I wonder how much the algorithm magic will play a part...
@@Geeksvana only time will tell 😁
Im waiting to buy a mini 4 pro. I just hope they release the fly more plus kit on launch day
I wonder if cruise control will work on the 4 pro?
Will there be extended flight batteries for this in some markets ?
I hope they beefed up the front arms, since they now carry the load when it's landing. In the MP3, the front arm hinges were a deliberate failure point to avoid worse arm damage...
I have a Mini 2 (still a great drone) but am considering upgrading to a Mini 4. Any sign of the Mini 4 having a C0 class label? Surely DJI will have missed a trick if its not there . . . .
I’ll be getting on a got my mini 2 then shortly after the 3 pro came out , I think it makes sense for me .
Hey Paul! It will be a great upgrade from the 2!
I have two drones Mini 2 Se and the Dji Ryze Tello until I become more proficient I have no intention of upgrading at the moment as a £1000 is a massive chunk out of my income . But I may upgrade to a second hand pro drone if the price is right .
Looks like an awesome drone. Now, to convince Kelly to buy it!
Having the mini pro 3 and the Air 3, I initially was gonna let this go.. but now I’m really tempted to see how good the sensor will be in reviews and will then probably purchase this and hand my mini 3 down to my son….
Same here. I have a feeling the footage might be amazing on the 4 Pro. Fingers crossed!
I am buying my first drone. I was going to purchase the 3 Pro but now I am going to wait for the 4 pro. The 360 degree sensors sold me.
Think al be getting this one I use mine for when I go fishing
Only just got the Mini 3 Pro 3 weeks ago, not had a chance to fly it yet. Had my Mini 2 since February last year. Don't think I need the Mini 4 yet.
Thanks for sharing! It would be disappointed if Mini 4 Pro cannot support RC Pro and DJI RC, Mini 4 Pro should have longer flight time than Mini 3 Pro.
I don't think it will have a longer flight time due to battery weight and the 250g weight restriction.
Looking to get my First DJI Drone, but at £1200, unsure if I am willing to go that high on my first drone.
DJI Mini 2 might be the first one I go for if they reduce the price.
Checking on Sub 250g licenses I need.
DOH. Too much info for a newbe.
I've got the Air 2 and I'll be changing out for mini 4 pro.
Amazing. When are we expecting the Mini 4?
Top❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm going to get one .
i passed on the air 3 but definitely getting this and popping the mini 3 on ebay, but a shame as i had to get another min 3p just 2 months ago after crashing my old one which didn't have carefresh. are you getting sean?
Nice! It is tempting... I am trying to resist.
@@Geeksvana it is but definitely pricey as we all want the full combo and new controller. i must say though, i have a mav 3 classic and air 2s so if this sensor is just as good as it is on the air 3, then i'll sell my air 2s as well. too many comparisons of this new stacked sensor show it beats the older 2s
@denaco I have both and LOVE the 2S but the Air 3 kills it on every point. The stacked sensor and DJI magic bears the sensor size imo.
@@Geeksvana i know, how tech moves in just a year or two is mind boggling... lets see what the comparison videos against the mini 3p show and can make a decision then i guess. And the full 360 sensors are another big plus as the wind blew my mini 3 into a tree branch at its right (was too close though so my fault), clipped it with not having any side sensors and wrote the thing off so just 2 months ago got another from argos with care refresh this time, seems a waste now i'm selling it so soon.
As i already have the mini3 pro and a mavic 3 pro . really don't see the need to upgrade the mini 3 pro ..
If I need to do something which mini 3 can't do I just get the Mavic 3 pro out .
So for me I have the perfect package all round I feel ...
and let's be honest would you bother upgrading a mini 3 pro to a 4 pro just for The 360° sensors , personally I don't need them ....
However if this is your first drone , then yes I would buy it ...... 👍
Hey Oscar! I agree. This is a great upgrade from the 2 and as you say perfect for a first drone. I think we will see these slight upgrades more and more from DJI.
I have the regular old Mavic 3, and Mini 3 Pro and feel I still have more than enough tech to keep me happy for awhile.
I’m excited about the 20km range and omnidirectional sensors. I originally upgraded my Mini 2 to the 3, but the Mini 3 range sucked so I returned it for a refund. I think the Mini 4 will fix the disaster of the bad Mini 3 introduction.
My range on my Mini 3 Pro also is not very good even in a rural area in FCC mode. My Mini 2 has much better range. I am hoping the Mini 4 will fix this issue especially in high interference areas .
What? You could just return your purchased drone and get your money back?
@@DreiK96 Yes, I ordered it direct from DJI on the Mini 3 launch day and they accepted the return after I tried it for a couple flights
It also sucks you can’t hack fcc mode like on other DJI drones
what does that mean? I am not familiar with that (is it just for European users to get the FCC range?) @@connor25
geeks bro im well happy with my mini se
Hi! What’s the uk real range? Nobody is talking about! Is saying 20km, but what the real one? Thanks
20km range? How does that square up to VLOS? Sticking with mini 3 pro.
The same way a 12 mile range on the Mini 3 Pro does with vlos.
All a bit pointless, then when you’re supposed to be able to see it so clearly that you can see it’s orientation as well.
Dam I just purchased the air 3!
Thanks Geeks but I think I'll stick with my Zino Mini Pro, for a while yet.
Going to add it to my collection 😂
Hey Hieth! Is there a support group we need to join? Or maybe become founding members of 😅
@@Geeksvana LOL 🤣 I think we need to start one buddy !
Does it come with an additional 12 hours in each day so I can get out and actually fly/edit? ❤
Flux-capacitor with every combo bundle 🙃
I was flying Mini 2 for 2 years. Recently I bought Mini 3 Pro (with really big discount). I was aware of Mini 4 Pro possibly comming but I wanted to also try DJI RC. Given that I often fly in rough environment (lot of interference and obstacles) I decided at the end (when it was confirmed that my M3P batteries should be compatible) to return the M3P and get M4P mainly because of supposed better signal (and then omnidirect. avoidance system). So now I'm really looking forward to Monday.
How do you guys could just casually RETURN your purchased DJI drone?
@@DreiK96 Well I'm not sure if it's our Czech law or EU law, but we can return stuff bought online within 14 days after purchase without any conditions (and get all money back). The rationale is that when buying online you can't see (and check) in person what you're really buying so this is meant to protect the buyers if they buy something that turns out not to be exactly what they want.
@@sebastiannovotny8198All of EU countries have this.
Unlucky for the brits because of Brexit 😂
im intending on buying a mini 3 pro cheap while the market floods with it for the 4 :D
I think is a time...to upgrade my Little MONSTER...Mini2!!! SERVED ME very WELL
Hey Robert! The upgrade from Mini 2 to the new 4 Pro is PERFECT! So many extra features. The 2 is still amazing though.
"Monster" 😂😂😂
@ChristiaanRoest79 ohhhh yeah. Little Monster in did...
It handle English rain, Scottish winds, Polish winter and Thai heatwaves!!! I love it
@@robertbosek3362 I dont think its capable of handling rain as its not waterproof. The body lets rain in very easy.
@ChristiaanRoest79 I'm not talking about big rain, I know it's not waterproof but it can handle shower and thick fog....TRUST ME 😉
Literally is like the mini 3 pro but I still want it
Things I wanna know, will batteries be compatible with my mini 3 pro,
Will my DJI RC be compatible with the Mini 4 Pro
If so, then I'll definitely upgrade and keep my mini 3 pro as a backup. The omnidirectional sensors alone is a gamechanger, the light on the bottom is also a welcome benefit, the lighter weight drone than the mini 3 pro with the smaller battery means I can add an airtag which I've wanted to without going over 250g. Greater signal strength, better camera and stacked sensor are also amazing changes. Hearing of the DJI Air quality is an absolute game-changer!
But all depends, I'll by the drone alone bundle so long as batteries and RC of my Mini 3 Pro is compatible with the Mini 4 Pro. I sure hope so!
Link to the battery specs leak please ?
Once the bottom drops out of the sub 250g market, when the CAA rescind all the flying privileges this class of drone currently enjoys, the spec of this new 'fancy' drone will be irrelevant.
I'll stick with my original Mavic Mini and Mini 2 which I haven't even opened yet⚠️😲😳😁
Who needs obstacle avoidance sensors anyway? most pilots just turn them off because they are so annoying, maybe OK for a newbie pilot.😊
The same thing will probably happen in the USA regarding RID and sub 250gram drones. This Mini 4 will probably have RID information broadcasting right out of the box.
I don't use !any of the automated flight controls such as waypoints and such. Most of my flying is done manually and that is what I enjoy the most about flying. I am wanting Occusync 4 for better connectivity than my Mini 3 Pro has.
The big question for new buyers is... Air 3 or Mini 4 pro ???
Exactly what I'm thinking... 🤔 I'm on the fence.
LOL this is not a mini Air 3. It’s a Mini 3 Pro PLUS. If you had a Mini 3 pro wont be worth upgrade. It’s an incremental update with good marketing. Main things to factor is the 360 avoidance (questionable with the placement) and updated transmission. The camera is minor change.
I'll stick with my 2 month old Mini 3 :D
It is a great drone. I don't see much of an upgrade to the 4...
@@Geeksvana got the RC controller for the Mini 3, and 2 years of DJI Care refresh :) Don't see the point, +2 KM range, when I never fly more than 300m away...
Needs stacked cmos & 360 better NOT have stitching errors. Mini 3 pro has small errors at 400' but much better 360 resolution than mini 2. Mini 2 has no 360 stitching errors but the direction orientation on Google maps is wrong, unlike Mini 3 pro.
I have a Mini 3 pro and am not upgrading to the Mini 4 Pro for a while. Most if the upgrades the Mini 4 has I don’t use anyway and it doesn’t seems like it is leaps-and-bounds above the Mini 2 like the Mini 3 Pro was.
if it has longer flight time i will get it
I was kind of hoping it came with a 15in censor.
I have the air3 which is unreal! Yes 250g is a big selling point for a lot of people, however if you usually fly far from people and like to chase subjects... the air 3 is far superior with its very impressive speed and stability
Hi Sean, Thanks for the information and details on the Mini 4 pro. I still have my DJI Mini V1, why would I want another. My problem is that it's not under $500 like they were in the beginning.
360 pano sphere are blurry facing close to down. Don't know if its 12 or 48 mp mode or both but very disappointed after spending over 800 bucks. I don't work all day for free so I expect something in return. DJI can expect a terrible review if I don't find a fix.
Just might spring for this . Have to hide it from the wife though !
Sold my M3P 2 weeks ago and got £720. I kept the fly more kit just in case I can use with the M4P. Not a massive increase in price for the additional benefits.
no side sensor
What happened to your Discord channel?
What dji dont tell you the height limit of 120m…..as with my mini 3 pro i can set it to 500m but the 4 cant its set at 120m🤬🤬
That's just for EU countries and not the UK (at the moment). Wow, the only benefit of Bre...xit has been found😉
Something else for the i have to have it brigade to cream their pants over.
Far too soon in my opinion ....mini pro 3 is still a beast
Well you how it is…drone companies sell drones.
@thomashardy9994 yep just as the world turns
I wont be upgrading, dont use the sensors and no need for 100fps on these drones
Not only 100 fps and sensors but also better camera sensor.
29th was put back after speaking to retailer can't say who as are holding new mini 4 Pro for me and as one of the biggest are only getting 40% stock ordered for 29th but said dji may sag no shipping till the Monday.
And will be cheaper the 3 pro ect.
As insurance are replacing mine and when I called up for stock told me today
Well I want to buy the Air 3 BUT the future CAA Regs may render it usless! The drone rules in the UK are a nightmare. I have insurance, member of a flying club, A2 Cofc, flyer and operator I.D. The amount of unclear information and red tape is just studid. Yet the Auditors and people who lack basic common sense are f@cking it up for the rest of us. I'd be happy to have a remote I.D if I meant the rules were clearer and more relaxed like in the USA.
I am watching using 0.75 Speed 😢😢😊
Why does the mini 4 pro still looks like a frog 🐸 like what?
