Awesome review. I bought the mini 4 pro, it's my very first drone and even though I bought it before seeing your video, I'm happy to know I made the right choice. I've been using it about a week and it's an absolute joy, very beginner friendly and makes capturing footage so easy with all the features it has. LOVE IIIIT!!!!!

I kinda disagree. I think that Mavic Mini 4 Pro is a HUGE upgrade from Mini 3 Pro. I think waypoints alone are worth the upgrade. Native waypoints mode is something that we have been waiting for since the original Mavic Air. To me, Mavic Mini 4 Pro is a perfect drone. It is exactly what I have been wanting, and I am stoked that it is finally here. I moved away from DJI because they stopped providing waypoints. Now that they do, I am back to being their customer again. A drone is not a drone without native waypoints. I can't wait for DJI to release SDK for Mini 4 Pro so that we can use it with Litchi. That's gonna be incredible!

You're right about the no differences between the Mini 3 and 4. I don't see anything at all. Only the obstacle avoidance sensors on the body. I like the battery compatibility, it's the reason I love the Mavic air 2, and air 2S.

I have two mini 3 pros right now, I'm considering selling them and my controller to get the new Air 3 and also the Mini 4 as a backup, standardizing everything to the same controller. I wish they sold it in a drone-only package though. It's at least good to know that my mini 3 pro batteries will work with it!

As a content owner of the M2P, yes, still, would you say that the Mini 4 Pro is still an upgrade? I really like the idea of the small frame, that's why my first drone ever, back in 2017, was a Spark, which I was immediately disappointed with, and I waited quite a long time until the M2P came out. What would you recommend? Keep the M2P or switch to the Mini 4 Pro?

$1159 is $1 more than I paid for the Mini 3 Pro with FlyMore Plus kit. Wanted a spare Mini 3 Pro, now I get one with 3 Plus batteries & lots of upgrades. The Waypoints are irresistable.

My only gripe with the mini three pro is that I can’t shoot 4K 60 with active track… Has that changed with this new model? It’s limited to 4K 30 on the mini three.

The most minor upgrade in the Mini line DJI have done. Great changes, but not a substantial jump from the 3 as you mention. First time I wont be upgrading my mini, almost doesn't feel worth the hassle.

I am an old guy with the Mavic 3 and Mini 3 Pro, and I see one thing I really like, but would have to sell the Mini 3 which I doubt I will do just for the all-around obstacle avoidance. I live in fear of crashing a drone, but if I don't, then I have saved a lot of money. If I did crash it, then I would have a reason to buy the latest and greatest at the time. I assume that one would have to get the latest RC for the Mini 4 also, as I won't use the RCN2 If I got that right.

Really if your wanting to get started in the incredible world of drone photography to add a whole new dimension to your life experiences ,the mini 4 pro with most if not all the same features as my mavic 3 pro ,then this is absolutely the choice you should at least spin around in your head…the world is changing every day

I guess those landing legs now, HOUSE, the antennas again, like they used to, and apparently, although the batteries look the same, they are slightly lighter and the mini three batteries can take the mini for slightly overweight
On DJI's website, right now (they don't start selling the mini 4 pro for 4 more hours), it's $759 for the Mini 3 Pro, it's the same exact price, which is amazing for an upgrade like this. I think they will lower the price of the Mini 3 Pro soon.

Just a heads up, the mini 3 pro batteries fit but the weight is different so you'll be > 250g if using the mini 3 pro regular battery

@@OriginaldoBo of course not, but it is illegal to fly it as a sub 249g with those batteries in Europe (and it is advertised by the app as well when installing the Mini 3 ones on the 4Pro). So, until everything is fine, no problem at all, but in case of possible accidents it may be become a serious issue.
For what matters from legal point of view, the risk is equivalent as flying with PLUS batteries... and at least those are much more appropriate in terms of performances (I only used PLUS on my Mini 3 and will continue to do so on the 4).
It would be better to make your audience aware of the drawbacks, so at least they can take informed decisions (instead of just saying the batteries are equivalent...)
Isn't the Mini 4 battery pack slightly lighter than the Mini 3 pack, does using a Mini 3 pack on the Mini 4 put it over the 250g mark?

Yes, 3 grams difference, so using a Mini 3 Pro battery puts it over 250 grams....

hi mate. this is the same stacked sensor as the air 3 right? crazy how just 2 years ago you had to buy a big mavic 3 to get all these features. soon we wont need the bigger drones at all if you can get all this under 250gs
