    Oh thanks for the shout out man, you didn't have to do that. Thank you very much and this guide helped me understand what I didn't know at all, especially the spoilage parts, holy crap will that help with 'long range planning' on my worlds.
    Thank you so very much!

      @@APH3343 Of course, just remember, and I do this IRL as well (I think you know that) just pay it forwards to a few other folks you don't know. World, Frankly, Sucks right now, and my small effort to make it a tiny bit better isn't going change it overnight, but being nice costs nothing. And looking at your stats you'll most likely be able to apply for YT partnership by Monday at latest. Glad it's working for you, and can't wait to see it done!
      Then you gotta figure out your next goal :)

    Hey thanks for the videos. Q: Where do you store the food? just started. I will only turn on the food categories at the root cellar because of best spoilage reduction when fitted with barrels so food doest go to waste at storages with worse spoilage reduction. Does the marketplace earn you money when distributing food? If so I must then put on some food catagories with long shelf life there as well.

      I do store food at the market because of ease of access. I do not store food in the storehouse but in a root cellar, and because barrels degrade over time, I do not worry about them. very early in the game I move into Smoking meat, and growing beans and root vegetables because they have a good shelf life. Greens, go to waste way to fast so I have stopped growing them even in a new game. Cheese, I do not think has a spoil timer, or it is so long in my 300 hours I have never seen it spoil... For the market you get 1g for each house in range 2g when you upgrade it. the stall worker goes around and pickups up supplies and takes them to the houses so the people in the houses do not have to, but this function is only part working. hope this helps. Thank you. I did a guide where I did the barn and the arborist, some of the information is dated to the 0.7.4 build and need some updates but it is fairly close to the current build. thank you for watching and commenting.

    would you be able to do a guide about how to manage cows, can they graze in farm fields how do you rotate grazing areas and whatnot

    • @titogironde4286
      @titogironde4286 2 роки тому

      just click on " grazing " to select a 10x10 area , so my fields are 10x10 with 3 farmers instead of 5 .

      @@titogironde4286 yes but the grazing area seems to run out after a while and when you go to put it down again there is a 10x10 red marker to say you can't put it here

      @@benjima100 yes , it's green during maintenance or clover but red with wheat or vegetables. like in the true life.
      you must change the grazing area , depending on pastures or you leave the cows in a free area.

      I moved away from using the cows with field because I do not like micromanagement. you can use the graze with clover but the feed quality after you reload is very poor and every time it moves from clover you would need to set a new clover field. I moved to putting my cows graze area the same area I plant fruit trees. they do not eat the fruit and graze area does not deplete but that is just me.

      @@APH3343 I'll try putting cows on the tree plantation, speaking of trees is there a way to farm trees from one place like in banished where young trees are planted and old trees are harvested.

    Hi , do you know you can set less farmers than intended ? it works.

      I know you can set the toggle on each farm to lower the number of farmers. I did not want to get into min max for a beginner guide. I also have some idea for when you get to max fertility where you run a set up with 2 clover and beans for +7 fertility with flax, turnips and buckwheat for -7 fertility as a good food yield with max profit. I am working on a good max food set up that also has a +/-0 fertility with a good spoil timer.

    Hey. I always select the size of the farm based on the number of workers required and use the maximum size with least workers. Is this the way to do it or will this be inefficient.

    • @APH3343
      @APH3343  2 роки тому

      if you are into min maxing there is a toggle in the farms, and you can adjust each farm to lower the number of workers on each farm to the amount you like. The apiary now uses farmers to harvest, and the priority is lower than the farm. Play with the number you can run a higher number of tiles per work just watch them to make sure you are not losing your harvest. when you hit max fertility and using the compost as maintenance, try Turnips Maintenace clover, beans clover, and the last year being buckwheat and flax for a max profit food combo I am working on a max food set up with little spoilage that is yet to come.
