I kinda have the same problem, my wagons don't move at all and instead mine workers go back to town with 1-4 ore each directly to the foundry instead of dropping it in the stock yard right next to the mine... I read more about it and apparently wagons go out only when there is a minimum of 20 ores stocked in the mines, but to keep ore stocked into mines you have to stop your industries needing this kind of ore... I hope it's not true or that it will change because it's stupid. It just needs a min max quantity in mines like it does in stock buildings and the problem is fixed.

I don't think I was on peaceful for this play through, saying that the ai in some of the older build is less them there... early KR the ai would die off the first year or just plant feels across the map and never advanced.

what difficulties are you playing on? this play through was a long time ago, Fruit on 500% does not feed the population. at least in that build of the game. as for kids, population does not grow well if you don't have food and housing. untill I am stable I try to keep kids low by keeping housing low, and building them real slow. most of the time that I have a die off is because I have a population boom. thanks for watching and commenting.

@@APH3343 Brutal(120%consumption). Fruits doesn't feed population even on easy difficulty. My point was that you don't need forester to plant fruit trees - they are everywhere and regrow by themselves. Game now is different, half of your population are usless kidds and death is inevitable even if you complete all requirements. About 20 men leave town per year with all food, heat and medicine fulfilled. This is in a town with 100-150 population.

At some point in time I figured out that population grew faster than it died, and giving them Coal or wood in the winter took hundreds per person to keep them warm. so I just let them freeze in the winter. I think at one point I turned on coal just to see how much they would use in one winter and they used 20,000 that one winter and hauling the coal stopped them from all other work.

I like that game are hard. I play a bit of rimworld on 500% because I like that challenge. I think with Kingdoms reborn I need to find a different game that pops as well for the channel as well at it does. and do a guide for Kingdoms. I do want to try the new faction at some point in time and I want to play a bit of Timberborn the new update that is in experimental. Thanks for sticking around!

I think we are seeing too many cookie cutter games for sure. more and more I see people jumping from one game to another. Anno has been around since 1998~ with anno 1602 released. Over the lase 26 years they have had a lot of time to polish the game. A lot of game will look like a cheap clone at first. the hope is that as they develop a little more that we see it move away from being a cheap clone and it own thing. I have not played in over a year. I am not up to date with the new patch. but back when I did the recording the Plaza did a lot of desirability

Nothing special, emirate is special case for me

The guide is two years old, and a lot of things are out of date in the 4 major updates that have happened since. I will look are making an updated guide including things I missed and that have been updated

Echoes of the Sun stone is the next update bringing the Aztec faction, before that I do plan on playing the Land of the Rising Sun update which added the Japan inspired faction, we might see a roman empire and as the game gets closer to 1.0 we might see units on the ground like anno.

Did he explain why he doesn't use heating? I missed it I think. A lot of his peons are dying all the time..

He isnt using heating because his culture is norse, which gives his people cold resistance, and he also chose the civ upgrade at the beggining, that gives his people even more cold resistance. This lets him somewhat ignore the crippling amount of heating people use on deity. Though he should have already started using coal to stop some of his people from dying, with enough house upgrades and tech, you can use coal to heat houses comfortably without bankrupting yourself.

@@feeniks100 I am mostly confused because i tried the exact same setup and my norsemen died in far greater numbers, just as spring comes. But maybe my area had slightly lower temp than his and that was the difference. It's been more than a year since i did it. Also tundra/boreal lvl2 townhall bonus doesnt give cold resist, just more heat from wood/coal. Helps save on fuel, but doesnt help if you don't heat. In my attempts at deity runs, i gave up on producing coal myself. Even in warmer provinces, even with efficiency tech you need too much manpower to produce enough coal to heat everything. I resorted to using that pop for food/luxury production and just importing coal. Same for any cheap raw materials really... Manpower is the most valuable resource on 300%+ consumption difficulties.

I make food local, the Markets only get, luxuries, tool and meds and they are working for that. it increased production a lot.

I do think the AI needs some more flavor. both in aggression and gifting, 100 gold as a gift in the end game is a joke, and stealing is blah. Thanks for watching and commeting.

I would like to see concrete roads and better transit by the end. people walking during a time of electric does not feel balanced. more progression would be good.

Black bears were on an island to the west, the black bear was solo to the north of that. took me about 45 minutes of looking with trees off to find it. I almost got up and walked away.
