@Janus^ Stark no, the Legend likes to call deep iron a good signal which can be frustrating to people. Recently i have gone on multiple hunts with a friend and i let him use the Legend. He dug a bunch of deep iron that sounded really good. You can make the 700/900, Deus 2, Manticore sound good on large iron as well but you can also have it sound like iron. You cannot do that with the Legend yet.
It looks like Vdi on Manticore is way more unstable then the Vdi on Equinox 900. I noticed this on several different target, especially the deeper ones. Did you Iffy also notice this thing or it's just me?
Really depends on the sweep because there is so much crap in my ground. Allot of iron nails and trash. Even when i try for a clean spot i get something mixed in.
Great videos... please please tighten the cable around the shaft, if it moves around it's seen as metal to the coil since there is wiring inside the cable.
I know you don't have the 800 anymore. But people want to see head to head with that machine, not two new machines. The reason they may decide to purchase or not?
Yea, i am also keeping an eye out for those videos because i noticed the 900 about an inch deeper than the 800. Was not much but other people soil might be different.
Do you still have your ctx? I couldn't find a recent video of you using it. It would be nice to see if minelabs flagship can hit the targets the manticore can.

I would have to disagree with the CTX being better. Its older and slower. I cant speak to the 900 as much because i have not had it in a while but the Manticore handles iron very well with the stabilizer feature they have added.
@IffySignals that's good to hear, I wanna upgrade in the summer when the 900 is payed off and was looking at that as a main point as 900 does find larger iron deep or nails as good targets and didn't wanna upgrade to end up with same problem

For the XP i only have the 9” coil now. It will not hit the new 10” targets in general or fast but if I drop the recovery to 1 it hits them fine. Deep HC hits the dime without an issue.

Cool review Iffy. How is the physical build of the 900 vs. the 800? Depth isn't a huge concern in Arizona, our soil is hard and six inches is considered deep on a silver dime. The ghost towns and mining camps we hunt are brutal. The amount of rusted can bits and square nails is like nothing most detectorists have ever seen. The iron masking is phenomenal. We're trying to pick the high conductive (coin or saloon token) targets in this stuff. The 900 with a 6" coil is looking pretty good. Your thoughts?

Thx for watching Tom, what machines do you use?
A 200 dollar m.d..will beep like a 2000 dollar m.d...dig them all..
I can admit that i don’t dig them all, I usually start open but will start notching for high conductors when time is limited. Only get to hunt on weekends so like having the options when limited on time.
Ничего не понятно, но очень интересно
Sorry about that. Allot of time I do not notice until editing. Thx
Hey Jeff, the build is allot better. They redesigned everything. I have a video up that shows all of the build features.
