I purchased a Manticore a few weeks back. This video is so similar to all of my hunts so far. I have no idea what I am digging based off of the numbers its showing. Your dig #3 is a perfect example. I get those jumpy 10's to 30's and it ends up being a pull tab or a bottle cap. I expected that when you dug. The gold ring shocked me!!
@@RelicsRingsLower the Sensitivity down below 20 and it will help out and I don't know of any kind of detector that likes to be at Full Sensitivity without any kind of ground Feedback....
@@Urge38 at 12 Sensitivity I was still getting Targets in the 8" to 10 " range and Then if I wanted to take the time to dig it up. Try it Again if the Targets are actually there to get....
Nice video. I swing the Manticore which was an upgrade from the Nox 800. I was glad you chose to dig in beach deep mode since that is the one beach mode I haven't tried yet. Thank-you for making this video.
Enjoyed your video. I lived in northern Nevada. Cold. I'm in So Cal now. "Only for the beach". Nice info on the Manti. I will try it. Always nice to get GOLD. Stay warm!
You have some really good info thank you, unfortunately your audio volume was so low that I had to turn it up really high to hear you, then when the commercials came on it made me jump and blew my ears out.

Yea, the Mammoth ID is not very stable. Takes some getting used to.
@@RelicsRings It is a learning curve for sure! It is fun and frustrating all at the same time!!

Thanks. Yea, Manticore is a deeper beach machine than the 800 IMO. I will usually use either beach deep or beach low conductor.
I appreciate you showing the settings on both 900 and Manticore for hunting. Also seems like they both get pretty good depth! Thanks for the contest!
At 5:40. Ground balance maybe run in tracking. You may find threshold useful even if you back it down to just below audible. Also thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the video. I have the 900 and I am in a learning curve! The more you can do with the 900 is appreciated.
More to come!
Great Rundown….Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!

Sounds great!
Great video. Thanks for comparing both of the latest Minelab detectors.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for taking the time to compare these 2 machines. I'm in the market for a machine to replace the EQX 800. Which one will it be? 🤔
Both are really great machines
Awesome video thank you for sharing 👍

You're Welcome
Thanks, I Like your beach hunting videos!
Thanks
I love the information. I have a Simplex and am always interested in new detectors.
So what was advanced settings on 900. Cheers.
Thanks . Nice dig.
Thanks for sharing
Great video thanks!
Glad you liked it!
So the manticore doesn't have automatic gb like the 900?
And why is the manticore making so much noise?
The manticore does and it seems to work well.
That deep ring was a perfect target just on the edge on detecting it, to compare machines.
Yea it was a weird signal. Glad I dug it.

A garden shovel at the beach? Come on man!
Works way better than a sand scoop unless I'm in the water. But hard to pack both a 1/4 mile each way.
Thanks for vid.
Thanks for all the great videos has helped me a lot with my Deus 2
Let me compare these 2 new Minelab machines and of course don’t forget the Minelab giveaway!!!!!!!!
And don’t forget to hit me up at 1800 suckhole !!
Thanks Joel and #Relics and Rings congrats on the ring
Thanks
Its better to stick to recovery of 4,on 3 it smears deep targets,an makes them sound longer.
Good video! New subscriber
And the WINNER IS ???
900 for the money, manti overall
