Editing was well done; very little dead air. It made the conversation flow without any awkwardness. Good choice of music as well, it left you with nothing you had to compete with.
I paid a friend 30 bucks, took her 7 hours. backcombed and a little crochet the first two months then let them go natural, because too much crochet hook and you can create weak spots that can destroy your dreads. Because I don't get maintenance, they are taking their time to naturally knot up and get tighter. I have several that are fully matured, and the rest are almost there. I'm about 11 months in.
honestly thanks i have watched so many videos about dreads, and you're the first to talk about cats. I have cats, and one of them already likes to chew hair. I can't imagine how much worse it would be with dreads.
I love how your spirit shines through on your videos. The music was perfect in the back round, the editing was good as well. I can't say I have any suggestions on how to improve your videos, you are doing so wonderful already! Keep on shining through, and your fearie locks are gorgeous!
haha I feel you! My boyfriend missed giving me head massages and every time he can he guilt trip me about it 😂😅 I miss feeling the hair brush touching my scalp 😐
Your locs are beautiful. I am not opposed to shaving my head, I actually do it often! I have thick healthy hair. I grow it for 3-4 years and then I shave it....donate the hair....and then start fresh. So when I had my dreads in 2012, after I was ready to have them out, I simply shaved my head. My hair is "wavy" but not super curly. HOWEVER, when I removed my dreads (by cutting them out, then shaving my head), my hair came back in SOOOO CURLY, it was crazy amazing!! I have an appointment with a loctician on Oct 24, 2020 to have them installed once again. They will be crocheted with extensions added. I'm not worried about any damage, because when it's time....they will be shaved off again. I have watched videos of people combing theirs out and that is just waaaaay too much work for me.
Been meaning to watch this for a while and am so glad I finally did. I can't wait to watch more! Don't stahp!! I found the positive energy to be uplifting. You should keep that!
I love your dreads! I'm planning on dreading my own head soon and I'm so excited gahhh. In your last video you said you wanted to travel more, it would be cool if you made a video about places you want to travel to and stuff c:
Such a genuine individual I can tell you’re very spiritual, Just by reading the room.. you’re also very informative thank you for taking the time out of your day.. 🤘🏽
This was very well put together!! I'm not even sure how I got to your video but I happen to have dreads as well!! YAY for youtube suggestion bar! Haha. I am going to go check out more of your channel now! :-)
If you ever want another healthy tip for your hair one I don’t see often talked about is Avocado oil infused with Rosemary. It’s super nutritious for the scalp and keeps the hair from drying out, they are less likely to break off. Great video, great hair.
Beautiful dreads you got there :) Dreadlocks don't need maontenance, they just need patience, some people will need to wait before they see fully mature dreads, and you wash them just as regular as you wash your normal hair, and you may do a deep cleanse once per one or 2 months.. great video btw :D
Youre so beautiful! I loove you're dreads, all these dread videos I've been watching have me wanting dreads soo bad. Thanks for answering those questions!
Thank you for this video; I'm considering getting dreads, and this was very informative and useful! (By the way, your dreadlocks look beautiful!!! They look very good on you!)
My scalp itches Dx I got my dreads 3 weeks ago and my scalp itched really bad for the first week...after a week the itchiness started going away however I still get itchiness sometimes and it can be very annoying
Did you use a knotting spray when you made your dreads? Most will irritate your skin for awhile afterwards. An itchy scalp will be a bit of a pain from now on though, it’s a burden we must carry. When I showered my dreads, I would give myself a good scalp massage with my finger tips and water. Avoid getting your dread shampoo or soap on your scalp as well, just along the length of the dreads. I hope this helps :)
wingsonmyback1 Hey! Unfortunately I've had some things come up in my personal life which has caused me to put UA-cam on a back burner but I plan on making a full comeback next month! 😊
Do you mind if I ask you a question? I’ve absolutely loved dreadlocks since I was a teenager. But my hair is SO thick (it tends to grow OUT, now DOWN) that is seems impossible for me to ever get to the stage where my hair is long enough to have dreads, as I usually cut them because of the flakiness and itchiness. What do you think I should do? Should I just try to accept that dreadlocks may just not suit my hair type? Or is there something I can do? Thanks for your time.
Ere Mas You could look into using synthetic dreads that could be braided into your shorter hair, they still look awesome and you can take them out without having to shave your head or brush them out. Hope this helps 😊
Anyone can start locs, go to a loctition and have them look at your hair. Lots of info on UA-cam as well. But any hair type will loc up some take longer than others.
Nope! It's all my natural hair although I do get asked a lot because my hair root colour don't match the rest of the length. I like the look of extensions too though!
Hi Kylara I have had my dreads for 3 months. I am use to a bit of height at the top of my head as my head is an odd shape. Can you recommend any product that can help with volume or suggest a style.
Hey Tina! I know young dreads can be kind of frizzy with lots of bumps and loops. A couple ways I combated this was to palm roll dread wax into my hair to help with frizziness as well as help your dreads mature. A couple hair styles I liked were to wear wide headbands, or make a half-bun on the top of my head. As always though it takes time and patience for your dreads to look the way you'd like them to. Hope this helped! Take care :)
Motherly Essence I got them off of a website called zenni optical! Amazing prices and you give them your measurements so that they'll fit your face perfectly 😊
Blow drying can help dry the outter layer slightly effectively but if you want to dry dreads effectively a blow dryer wont work. Its easier to dry them by throwing some heavy metal on and headbanging every 5 or 10 mins for about a minute or 2.
your channel was doing great, so why no videos in 4 years? Did you decide UA-cam wasnt for you? Loved the content and was sad to see the channel appears dead.
heyyy:) how did you get the nice little natural wiggles in your dreadies?:) love them man! I got some wiggles in my locs , but want more:) love them , they look so funky and natural x
I was writing a comment...but then i saw you're getting marry already xD So i decide to change it and just tell u that u are incredible beautiful. I love your dreads and your stile.
Your locs are beautiful and look amazing!!! Great video!!! Just subscribed to your channel!!!

Hi where have you been? waiting for an up date on your dreads
wingsonmyback1 Hey! Unfortunately I've had some things come up in my personal life which has caused me to put UA-cam on a back burner but I plan on making a full comeback next month! 😊
Nice video! I also get asked a lot of questions about my dreads so I made a similar video. I love your locks, they are so pretty!:)
Great video! Thanks for sharing :)
Maybe you feel like doing a timline video about your dreads
Heli Copter you mean like how I've changed them and how they've looked over the years?
Yes, or more how they changed themselves :)
I thought I was the only one with a cat problem lol Every time I visit a friend, their cat starts to pull on them from behind
Dani' el , no my cat comes in my room every single morning and if thier not tied up he will start swiping at them
You are absolutely adorable!
So if my hair is long enough, I can get dreadlocks instantly rather than wait months for my hair to lock?
Rick Totally! I used a dreadlock making kit from dreadheadhq.com to make mine.
How can you tie the dreads into sort of a bun, but not really a bun? Like that messy tied look?
Do you mind if I ask you a question? I’ve absolutely loved dreadlocks since I was a teenager. do you have extentions? What do you think about them?
Nope! It's all my natural hair although I do get asked a lot because my hair root colour don't match the rest of the length. I like the look of extensions too though!
beautiful locks!!
Can you not blowdry your dreads to speed up the drying time?
I feel you on that alternative edgy look lmfao

Did your hair shrink a lot in the first 6 months/first year?
awesome and beautiful person ♥
I've been thinking about getting dreadlocks, yours look amazing! I was wondering if it's possible to get your dreads dry faster if you blow dry them?
Roosa Lehikoinen Honestly I haven't tried but I've seen people on UA-cam do it so maybe? 😜
