This way they can make whatever story they want, and Arkham fans don’t have to be upset that everything that happened is canon to the Arkham games.

@@thesenate7710I wouldn’t be too sure about that, we’re seeing worse numbers than Avengers and they have an easier way out of this than Avengers by already introducing multiverse, by taking a similar approach to the first injustice where there were 2 almost Identical universes with one key event that completely changed one. Of course this is just my ideas, but there’s one indisputable fact, whether they undo the ending or not, this is a dead end for everybody.

Same I can say about Jujutsu Kaisen cursed clash. Maybe this game is shit but damn. Even Batman's death was less disrespectful than the full game of Jujutsu Kaisen. It's horrible.

I like the game a lot, me and my brother have been grinding the hell out of it. We already have more time on than we care to admit. But we both have agreed, this game will be dead shortly. As long as the servers are up i will always probably be up to do a Mastery or two. But yeah, I don't see this getting any love after Season 1. I just hope the fix that fucking loading metropolis bug that came after the last patch.

Helldivers 2, Fortnite, Deep Rock Galactic, Street Fighter 6, Cyberpunk 2077. Need I go on? There's plenty of profitable live service games. I don't like live service for the most part, but a good live service game works and they work very well.
I just want the game to survive long enough to have its entire story revealed. For now I’ve reserved my judgement on SSKTJL’s narrative because the base game makes it obvious we’ve only scratched the surface of the story, so therefore I haven’t been judging it as harshly as the rest of the internet. However, if the game goes under before we get a proper conclusion at all then yeah this was just a waste of everyone’s time and I can only question what Rocksteady was doing for almost nine years
I hope it survives. I’ve enjoyed my time with it and yeah I’ll be pissed if I don’t get to find out what happens in the story.

Imo if I’m spending $70 on a game then I’m going to treat it like it’s complete on arrival. Especially since Live Service games rarely, if ever, get all the content into the game that was promised.

No matter what happens in the future DLC's, the way they tretaed the heroes will not chnage.
The 'protagonists' of the game will not chnage. The writing will not change.
Arkham Harley is a psychopatic murderer, who canonically killed children, helped Joker torture Jason for years (who was a teenager that point), and killed thousands for laughs. And the writers had the audicity to make her lecture Batman about moralty? XD
It doesn't matter who died, the real Flash or the 'clone' one. What matters is, that the writers treated the only hero who tried to save the ungrateful asses of the SS members like crap. He got peed on, tho he got captured in the first place because he saved Harley. And nor the writers nor the 'protagonists' feet an ounce of sympathy for him?
Wonder Woman died, and they all mourned her, tho the only thing she ever did is pushed them away, and insulted them?
This is going to be a game I revisit only when new stuff drops. I don't think I'll stay on this like intended. The 1st season needs to be something incredible to keep me away from other games at this point.

@@yatoyaboku4296Avengers had plans to add doctor strange and I bought the game for that reason only for them to release characters that were identical and shared move sets with characters already in the game like Kate Bishop and Winter Soldier. Then the game died and it never happened. 100% this game will not get all the dlc the developers intend to put into it.
Considering it’s made by the people who made Shadow of War and Mordor and has the nemesis system, I think it’s safe to say the gameplay will at least be good. Then again I said we could at the very least expect a good story from SSKTJL because it was made by the same people who made the Arkham games and I was very wrong.
Them not dropping everything to get the players who haven’t been able to log in at all, even to play solo, back online after this many weeks is disgraceful

@@summersheild4140 to clarify, I didn’t mean that people not involved in fixing bugs from other teams at rocksteady should get involved in bug fixing. What I mean is if they have done two patches a week apart, and neither of them were successful in getting those unable to login at all into the game, waiting another week for the next patch is not good enough. Affected players will delete the game or uninstall, and may never play again by that time. It absolutely has to be sooner than that.
Bring back the Arkham games, earn that trust back and then make other single player superhero games with different characters

FACTS, or another Arkham game, batman beyond or justice league game, any of these including superman game would be so much better, although I'm not even sure the team at rocksteady now could make a game half decent enough unfortunately

Playing online with friends is impossible. My friends and I tried for hours to go run some end game content and could not play together the game would just fail to connect to wb services for a lack of a better term
I dunno if it’s a bug, but any time I do an Ivy mission, one of the plant bases flash like it’s being attacked but there’s no one on said plant and it makes me fail the mission every time..

Helldivers 1 has more players. Not the second one that released recently and took the world by storm when it comes to dev support and communication and that raised standards. The first one that was released in 2015.

I can’t even play the game. I just get stuck in the main menu. I don’t even think I can get a refund as I have a full day of trying to load into the game. I want to support this game but rocksteady is making it so hard to.
Sometimes if you go through customer support they will facilitate a refund even after exceeding the timeframe. It's worth a shot anyways.

What's your platform? On Xbox, I just exit application once or twice then go back in and it loads.
@@johannprei33 I was playing on steam. We also bought a PS5 version so I have been able to play on that but steam is just completely unplayable no matter what I do

I skipped it. I'm gonna pick it up on sale once all the DLC is out. I'm sure I can pick it up for $15-20 in a few months
And since the dlc are free you can pretty much finish the entire story in like 2 days
I wasnt having a single problem with this game until the most recent patch....now i cant really grind incursions, all i can get is the tier 3 sniper. And instead of patching bugs they decided to modify a harley hammer that specifically says it launches Brute level enemies so it only makes them flinch most of the time...i liked this game. I really did. But i dont thunk om coming back until joker comes out
I don't care about Suicide Squad. I am worried about the developers who were forced to make this game. Zaslav will target them and do layoff for mistakes of WB executives and Rocksteady management
This game will disappear faster than the Avengers live service game. The DLC will only be cosmetic. The number of players on Steam is ridiculously low.
Tbh they said there was an offline mode for story or single player and I think they should’ve waited some more to have that option on launch and the marketing WAS JUST HORRIBLE
In one game Rocksteady and Sweet Baby Inc have totally destroyed the fantastic Arkham Batman’s story and journey we enjoyed over 4 games.

What did they think was going to happen when releasing a game like this…1. It’s live service game you have to pay full price for 2. Nothing to do after the main story 3. Repetitive game design in an empty open world 4. Boring mission design with no variety. And 5. A narrative that craps all over the universe it’s set in and the characters. Only people that will enjoy this game are people that like mindless braindead games
It sucks cause I actually really enjoyed this game despite disagreeing with some story aspects and I think the bosses could’ve been better. Hoping we get atleast a decent bit of content.

I feel really bad for the developers. You know they worked extremely hard with what they had, but this makes me happy. These big publishers need to see that a game like this shouldn't be live service. All they care about is money. I really hope they learn a lesson from this. But in reality they probably wont.

If the justice league returns then it shows they aren’t willing to commit to their original story.
The justice league being killed off is also only one of many problems this game has.
Them explaining everything by saying they were clones also wouldn’t make sense considering Wonder Woman and Brainiac weren’t clones yet still got defeated.
I dislike TLJ just as much as the next Star Wars fan. But I think the biggest problem with ROS is that they tried to backpedal from that movie and created an abomination. I would’ve much rather had them continue off of what TLJ set up, same thing here.
The justice league returning was always their plan, if you pay attention to hints throughout the story and listen to some of the leaked audio files then it is clear

Dude I haven’t been able to play multiplayer since day 3 of early access! I feel ripped off to be honest I wanted to play this friends but haven’t been able too! I was also affected by loading Metropolis bug
Tbh as sad as it is I believe they will be shutting down the servers at the end of this year or next, because of the lack of players
Honestly I have most recently encountered the "Loading Metropolis" bug and it actually has me on other games now because of it. I think the problem here is that people were dissuaded from the game because of a lot of aspects including it being Arkhamverse after Knight, not that many people have tried the game for the gameplay.
The story is definitely not the best like Red Dead Redemption or GTA level but has decent foundation.
I hope the game can make a upward trend after a while but I can only see the game doing it if more people try the game, whether it be as a result of Rocksteady doing some continuity changes (like making the game a parallel universe to Arkham and not a direct continue to Knight) or if they make the game go on sale more often.

I got the incursion glitch but I got it every time I defeat brainiac and every time it loads me back in it loads me in earth 2 so I can only repeat the same things now and make no progress

The turning point for me is when I can’t even play coop like that’s the reason I paid $100 for and u can’t even do that
It’s a wake up call to wb games, make a game that the consumers will actually buy and make it single player game and have a character like Superman, flash or another Batman game as one of the main character to play as.

I think the moment they come out talking about disappointing sales the decision has been made behind the scenes to kill the game. They probably will maintain it for the first year, but that's probably it.
This concept was such a long-shot. You just have to hope the right lessons are learned here. I get the greed is hard to escape. When a live service game lands it's huge money for a long time. But people can't play every single one all the time. Giving people a great single player game may not have that long term constant profit, but it has a much higher chance of seeing good returns.
I'm curious as to what this game had in terms of budget, I know unlike movies or TV shows that rely on first time viewers to get their ratings up so they can make their budget's back, video games can make their budgets back quicker due to how much the developers charge for their games. But this game was delayed several times and had to be reworked until this version came out so I'm curious about how much it cost to make this game and have they made back the money they spent on it plus interest? Because if the game makes no interest on top of its budget then it's a bomb with no chance of anything else coming out for it after year one. Remember everybody it's all about money when it comes to a lot of developers so if you want a company to know how you feel then vote with your wallet.

I only hope that we get Season 1 DLC before they it shut down if this keeps getting worse. Just like in Avengers and MvC Infinite we didnt get all of the dlc characters
I haven’t been able too play the game since it came out I paid 105 dollars for it and I played through the tutorial after I got stuck on a black screen and with the new update I can’t even login into the game now
I’m interested in the future for this game, but in truth, I wish I could get a refund. I had bought this game on Xbox and played it for a bit so my refund request was denied. I have so many problems with this game. The gameplay between characters could’ve been way more diverse with complex, but fitting, move sets.
I'm sorry but I can't feel bad about this. Every single live service greedy game that fails is one step closer to a healthy gaming industry.
Yeaaaah highly recommend this one with friends and same when it came to story, wasn't too happy with some of the choices made.

I was hesitant to buy this game especially for the price point of $69.99 plus tax. It basically is a $75 game that is very easily beatable as far as the main game goes and then there is poor design in gameplay because it legit has so many missions that are repeated over and over again. It really does feel like the Avengers game that Square ENIX released. There is no 120 fps mode on top of that and the game does not feel immersive and exciting as it was hyped up before release. All in all I find myself not playing it after the main game and waiting and hoping for a dlc or patch update that gives us something worth $75. It’s sad because I wanted something like this I felt they should’ve went with an actual justice league game rather than suicide squad and choose this game as a post launch dlc like a dc universe online but next gen in my opinion

I agree. All the JL members were clowning on the squad. Then they just kill flash, then the elseworlds thing happens, then they kill everyone else. Up until that point I would’ve said the story was actually not that bad.

I believe that the only games that require constant internet connections are the games that cannot benefit out of sales by themselves and pirated copies...
Can we all just for one second stop acting like even the goliath of life service games don’t have the exact same issues, because last time I checked destiny, servers were down for like a week just the other month, and every update there’s tons and tons of bugs that come out. I just think we are creating a problem that is not as big as we’re making it up to be.
Exactly, people always acting as if it's the worst only on their own side and it's always greener on the other side, when in reality it's the same issues all around. That's what happens right now with MK1, people complain that it was rushed, full of MTX and bugs, except that SF6 and Tekken 8 also have tons of bugs that are even more crucial then MK1 and with MTX that are just as pricy if not even pricier. Now they bring the same mentality to Suicide Squad, it seems like people want the super casual games to fit their agendas and instead of just accepting them for what they are.
If game was 39,99€ they would’ve solved the majority of issues here.
For context: I can financially buy the game at full price for 69,99€ but after seeing the game and other content creators talking about it. I would rather leave those 70bucks in my pocket.

Something that’s going with these type of AAA superhero games that were released so far is they don’t got much creative style no proper visual style and they are not that VISUALLY APPEALING the characters of the game look hyper realistic in world that is very animated and bright and they just don’t fit … same with the avengers characters look hyper realistic with no actual style just very bland they got not creative visual identity like Insomniac games
I just hope they don't pull the plug before the Batman secret message Easter Egg can come to pass.
Ghost of tsushima made an amazing multiplayer coop mode and it was single player
i’m hopeful for them to drop more content, after season 1 but i’m very doubtful because of how the majority feels about the game.. i thoroughly enjoy the game, the story may have been repugnant but the game overall is fun to me.. it’s gonna suck to see this game drop off man
They gonna drop more content after season 1 for sure but no one is gonna stick with it and after that season 2 or 3 they gonna stop supporting the game just like what happened to Avengers and Anthem because no one plays and buy the game just play it for the main campaign then be done with it
I'm not sure what they were thinking. After they seen what happened with Marvel's Avengers, notnsurenhownthey thought this game would do any better. Also that's not arkham batman..
Oh and one more thing imo they shouldve given us the ktjl suit in arkham knight instead of the battinson suit dont get me wrong i love the battinson suit dearly but i would happily trade that suit for the ktjl suit and if that were too happen id hope they give us 2 versions one normal and one with purple eyes

As much as I like and genuinely enjoy this game I’m actually only one trophy off the platinum I wouldn’t be surprised if this game is completely dead by the second character drop

This is disappointing news, considering it is Kevin Conroy's last performance as Batman. I feel that the pressure to get this game out quickly made its issues. I agree with you that it is a fun game. But, the "death" of the league, I felt, was rushed. Different missions would have been nice. I don't know if it was a bug or not, but when I was playing as Deadshot, he was constantly on fire. Losing my shield, but not my health. Made it harder to want to keep playing. I think that maybe this type of gaming isn't the way Rock Steady should be going to. I think they need to go back to single player games, and explore more with the other super heros. Or, I'm also open to more Batman since the Arkham series are amazing lol. My opinion though. We all have our own
