We need more stuff related to walls. Charge jumping/leaping off a building, smoother and faster crawling, etc

Small detail, but I’d really like if in Spider-Man 3, if you hit the ground just right while swinging, you run along the ground instead of instantly roll out of the swing. It could add a bit more depth to the swinging.

Personally I want to see walls utilized more. I want to be able to run down them, build a ton of speed and momentum, and then jump off into a web swing. I’d also like to see wall combat like web of shadows.

MJ running from black suit Peter was one of the best parts of the game. They do need to not make her tougher than the Spider-Men though.

I could see a reason for Peter to get rid of the anti-venom suit is if Carnage is in a DLC you could have it that Peter has to drain his suit into Carnage to destroy the symbiot and ends up losing the suit in the progress
Then how would they delete the symbiote tree skill then you can't use it or it is like in web of shadow nah he will still keep it and anti venom is stronger than Carnage

Yeah, think about how strong a symbiote Peter could be if there were no downsides. He could practically become a god. I'd like to see him reach his full potential

Theres only 3 things I would like to see in this game.
1. A Miles and Peter Vs. Sinister 6 (I know we already got the sinister six but i want to fight all six at once)
2. A final showdown with just Green Goblin and Peter (maybe pick who you coukd play as? Obviously Green Goblin having a non canon ending)
3. To play as Silk
Most of the sinister 6 were killed by Kraven, but they could bring them back from a mirror universe. Go watch the Great Web trailer.
Well too bad since they killed off most of Spidey’s rogues gallery.
We don't need three she's just Peter in terms of power, and there is nothing new to explore there.

Some things that I want in the next game:
1. If you are swimming with some movie suit, the music in the backround will be the anthem of the movie that the suit came from.
2. the abbilty to design your own suits.
3. The abbilty to switch between miles and peter, mid-battle.
4. it's need do be hard on spectacular. I play my entire first playthrough on spectacular and is was very easy.
Arkham knight did the switch during combat while a ps5 game only let's you do it during free roam. Arkham knight was ahead of its time man

Yes in the gameplay i hope they add the slingshot while are webslinging between the buildings too. In the dlc .

About the Anti-Venom suit thing I think if there’s a DLC and if Carnage is going to be the villain Peter uses the full power of the suit and ends up getting rid of it to kill Carnage.
Killing Peter off in the insomniac verse would be the insomniacs biggest mistake
Instead of killing off Peter Parker why don't you have him as the mentor figure to the next Generation of spider people when he has kids or is somebody else gain spider powers like Cindy moon at the end of spider man 2 and please let him have kids so that way you can have your cake while eating the other one too so that way Peter Parker can finally be happy

Hot take the Mj Mission's are essential to how the character is used in the story it helps her stay as a active part of the story and how she contributes to it of she was solely just in cutscenes I dont think Mj would feel near as important
I loved her missions in MSM (that one when you tag goons for Pete to take out is great). I don't love her god tier taser tho.
Honestly, I do agree. I never really hated her missions.
Plus the mission where she tries to wake up Pete. People don't realize the fear MJ feels when running if they were playing as Pete or Miles.
But because that bit is in the perspective of MJ, it adds that sense of fear you wouldn't get playing as Pete chasing her.
I like the MJ missions, I hope insomniac games doesn't get rid of the missions
I'm with you there. I enjoyed the MJ missions and thought they did a great job improving them from the first game.
I have some more ideas on how to fix Spider-Man 3
1 wall combat like Spider-Man Web of shadows you can fight enemies while being on the wall that's the type of combat style that I miss from modern spider man games
2 for the stealth please remove the safety indicator and have us actually read the body language of the enemy to allow us to indicate when they vulnerable to take down
3 have Peter Parker Master his anti-venom suit more and I know you say you want to remove this suit but canonically he can't really do that since a suit has infused with his white blood cells now and I know this is just an opinion but I kind of want Peter Parker to keep his symbiote costume because anytime we got Peter Parker with a symbiote costume on he doesn't get to keep it for long so I just want him to keep the anti-venom symbiote forever

I get some people think the Anti-Venom Suit takes away the whole point of the symbiote, and I can see where you're coming from, I'd be fine with it if they removed it from the story but I'd still like to be able to play with it, there doesn't have to be a canonical reason, just a fun feature
7:48 maybe it was getting rid of his powers entirely. Anti-Venom is basically healing any diseases, and since Peter was bitten by something radioactive, the Anti-Venom suit is basically removing his powers. So maybe that’s the reason why.
Im gonna have to dissagree with removing the anti venom I want to canonicaly be able a symbiote suit, and also I really hope theu don't kill peter in sm3.
I think it would be cool if Pete uses the help from the newly established Fantastic 4 to get the Anti-Venom onto Harry. I feel like Norman would inject himself, being a Guinea pig to his own serum, I doubt he'd test the beta product on his son. Then when he changes and leaves his son for dead, Pete uses the Anti-Venom to stop Norman.
Then at the end of the game, he gives the Anti-Venom to Harry, then the game ends with Pete, Miles, Harry, and MJ working at a new EMF foundation.

How do we know if it's actually safe to give Harry the anti-venom suit we don't even know what is Peter Parker's and Harry Osborne's blood type because if Peter Parker's blood type does not match Harry's then he will just kill him even more due to the antigens rejecting the antibodies of that blood type the same rules should apply here if Peter Parker would to give his symbiote to him
As much as I love the symbiote, but I think Insomniac is only keeping the Anti Venom suit for the Carnage DLC & that's only it.

People like Peter Parker, Flash Thompson, Eddie Brock all had the symbiote in the comics, and there was no issue.
If that was the case then when Harry gave Pete the black suit it would have killed him.
Edit: Here I have an idea... He gets help from the newly established Fantastic 4 to get the suit into a Vial, then transfer it to Harry, since unlike Venom, Anti-Venom doesn't have a mind of it's own, maybe he can't transfer it the same way?
It has nothing to do with blood type, these games aren't supposed to be 100% realistic remember.
Wish we had more wall-crawling and animations for when they’re on buildings. Like something in TASM where you can catapult yourself higher up the building (I know there is the X option on the controller) but something more
Personally I think that the MJ missions are quite fun and I know some people will disagree but it is actually quite enjoyable.

I really like the idea of the anti-venom sticking with Peter. It can serve as a reminder for him and the horrible things that he is capable of. The anti-venom will be like a reminder for like how the blades of chaos is also a reminder for KRatos. It can also give gameplay variety for Peter and separate him from the other Spider-Man in the spider-verse.
I can see us playing as green goblin if they do something similar to ultimate Spider-Man. Goblin teams up with Doc Oct and something goes south, and they fight.
You can actually do a mid-swing slingshot in SM2! Just create a webline while in the air with finesse and land real quick and then do the slingshot

I dont know...i feel like ive seen all i need to see from insomniac. After Spiderman 1 they decided to just play it safe. Combined with Sony rushing them to get the 2nd game out (which i expected after sony bought insomniac). Theres going to be the same map, a character you play as that has no powers, a villain section to play as, the same combat with little to no changes, and a character peter closely knows that will tug the heart strings at the end of the game. I was very excited for SM2 but i now know what to expect from them going forward and its not nearly as exciting as it used to be. Hope they prove me wrong.
Sony has only rushed them for the third act and the content like NG plus not coming in launch. The combat animations are different, there are enemy varieties, parry feature, combat varieties like spider arm abilities, symbiote abilities and Miles' bio electric abilities.
Norman being Green Goblin, I wouldn't consider him that closely connected to Peter because they barely spoke in the past entities. So they could somewhat change the formula for the main villain. Like Green Goblin should have like 5 stages of boss fights not just be saved for the final because he already had plenty of build up.
Still though, Spider Man 2 is amazing game though

Theory: The Anti-Venom was only healing Peter from the damage that was caused by the venom. In the early stages of the game the anti-venom kinda shuts down so Pete and Miles put it in a jar or something. Then in the final stages of the game miles and Pete have disappeared to the green goblin (maybe he kidnapped them or something idk) and Cindy goes to find them and walks by the jar with the anti-venom and it breaks the glass and clings to her and her spidey powers are the anti-venom.
Here is the thing: Anti-venom and the host cannot seperate.
I would like
1.Make stealth gadgets better and not useless. Miles morales had pretty good stealth, and yet as there is no gadgets wheel in 2 it kinda feels dumbed down. Making webs is cool, but gets repetitive. Add hacking, freezing, some silent web shooters, maybe loud wingsuit takedowns. Also one creative stealth boss fight would be cherry on top(shattered dimensions got it right)
2. Add co-op missions or mod. While I am fine with main campaign being alk single player, I think that playing as miles and peter together could be pretty fun especially with team takedowns.
3. More personal stakes in the conflict. Make Goblin kill someone important, like Rio Morales or MJ. Second one feels too safe in that regard.
4. If they do plan to make Peter retire, make it as grandiose and emotional as something like Uncharted 4 where his story is totallu finished. If they don’t, then there could be some friendly rivalry akin to Color of Money
5. More playable villains.
6. Better use of haptic feedback. It isn’t bad, it’s pretty good, but you can always be better
I wouldn't say SM2 was too safe because there were times where the stakes was high and took risks

Add more stealth moves like in Spider-Man shattered dimension like ceiling stealth Wall stealth ledge stealth close up stealth etc and have most of them done in dark environments like at night or a dark building and no safety indicator body language is key for a good stealth game

I like the idea of web constructs making a comeback, they haven’t done that since Edge of Time and It would be cool if insomniac implemented it in the third games
Yeah man for Peter Parker it would be his symbiote constructs and for miles morales it would be his bio-electric constructs and for Cindy Moon give her organic webbing and have her make constructs out of them so that way you are not nerfing Peter again and keep the power dynamics in game in balance and you can choose what character to actually play you know what that should be a feature in this Spider-Man 3 game or in the player choose what spider person they want to play based on someone else's personal taste like instead of having Miles Morales all day you can have Peter Parker or Cindy Moon all day etc instead of the game switching between them go that way people can have control of what character they're choosing
I have a theory on Venom.
During the Flame Misson, we learn that Oscorp “sent some this treatment out for safe keeping”. Of course this sets up Carnage, and I thought that too…BUT… why did he say SOME?
Maybe the protect it if it gets destroyed or stolen, they separated it MORE. And sent on different trains!!
But the symbiotes were destroyed at the end of MS2…But here’s the thing, it ONLY destroyed Harry’s Venom and the symbiotes he created. Maybe by contacting the meteorite after saving Connors, every symbiote that Venom created had something like a virus, where if it broke, they died.
Maybe in the future, the news goes wild about the invasion!! Some say it was an alien, others say it was a science experiment gone wrong, and ONE person says it was Spider-Man (I’m looking at you JJ). But one reporter found a lead, Oscorp. They sneak it to get as much info as possible, and in the process, being attached with a symbiote.

I just think that the symbiotes that were in this oscorp tubes were not destroyed or something
My option the future games need.
1. Also being able to slingshot up buildings, more faster than just pressing x
2. Wall combat.
3. Separating the characters a bit more, they still play very similar, their animations need to be very very different. Esp in spiderman 2, it's a missed opportunity to change the fighting style between normal and wearing the symbiote suit, only difference was the abilities.
4. Running on the ground while holding on the web. The annoying part for the advanced web settings in spiderman 2 was just hitting the ground when too low, it ruins the momentum.
I'd really like Spider-man 3 to be actually different than the other games. things like story structure, physics, and all that good stuff. proper combos would be cool to see, kinda like in Web of Shadows. more physics based webswinging would also be great
The only problems I had with Marvel's Spiderman 2 were the puzzles and one side quest. I literally loved everything else about the game
Getting rid of the symbiote is bad idea miles will be overpowered compared to peter and playing with peter won't be as fun as it is now

I think we are going to see Peter shine in the next game. One could make the argument that he was weak in Spider-Man 2 because of all the things going on in his personal life.
Hopefully we get some of miles new powers from the comic like venom saber or his super saiyan form
Here's some abilities that I want from Miles Morales from his bio-electric powers surround himself with a bioelectric aura that will protect him from damage being able to create constructs from a bioelectricity like how the comics did it bio electric strings in the place of web shooters electric location in the place of spider sense similar to how sharks can sense electric currents given off by anything that generates bio electricity itself give miles this ability please just in case something happens to his spider sense and ditch the evolved suit and a haircut that comes with it give Miles Morales a hairstyle that is unique to him not that killmonger hairstyle at least add some color to it when he is just a civilian
See that’s what I don’t get it why would he want Peter to get rid of the suit when miles still has all these other abilities and he didn’t mention him doesn’t seem fair my opinion I think he should keep it
I just remembered that the spiders that bit both Peter and miles are most likely dead at this point in the story. So I’m not sure if the linked mating thing will come to be because both spiders kicked the boot.
Besides she might just get bit by a different spider altogether. Likely due to her organic webbing.

One big thing I think they need to do in Spider-Man 3 is if Cindy will be a playable character, they need to get her swinging right because she shoots webs from her fingertips
Not necessarily need this feature but it would be really amazing if they did a create your own suit mechanic, you would still be able to unlock new costumes but also when you unlock a new costume you can use whatever features that has e.g have 2099 wrist blade things with superior Spiderman symbol on your chest
I wonder who the enemy types will be in the next game. We got teched out soldiers and thugs in SM1 and SMMM, and the Symbiotes and hunters in SM2, so what will SM3 have?

With the suits I definitely feel like the returning ones could’ve been unlocked right from the start to give room for more new suits and more ways to unlock them. Just felt a bit sad having to do so much work for a suit I already did the work for in the first game😂

Insomniac should have just done all of the movie suits for Tom's Toby's and Andrews suits as the variant styles, they could have been all in one suit slot in the variants could have been the different suits worn through each movie for the respected actors.

Well the MJ missions gave us a horror aspect when she attempts to wake Pete. One that we wouldn't get if we played that bit as Pete.
Kinda like Dead by Daylight. When you play as the monster, your not scared, your on a power trip. But as a survivor, your constantly on edge, looking around ever corner. A different perspective from the monster.

I think it'll be more logical if Norman Osborne test out the g serum on himself first before he actually does it to his son because we don't know the risk behind this serum and if someone else is going to take the risk to take it then it's going to Norman Osborne

The ability to choose whether it's a long pendellum or a short one.
The Venom game should be about Eddie Brock and in Spider-Man 3 you should start off with the Anti-Venom suit but he gives it to Harry early on so Peter can go back to normal, Harry can be healed and potentially become Agent Anti-Venom
We need the Web Rush mechanic from TASM game's especially since it's unique and underutilized.
I want them to bring back the "Web Blossom maneuver and the M4 suit.
the one thing I really want is for them to drop Sweet Baby Inc, I fear that if they give them more power, they’ll take down insomniac with them
I hope they make the spider-men feel more unique when it comes to powers and abilities.
I also want Peter to get rid of the anti venom suit he should not need it to be strong or be on miles level he should just be strong normally due to his experience and age which should make his base powers stronger then miles strength,speed,durability ect.. like how it is in the comics.
Peter can be the physical more dominant of the spider-men and miles can be the more power based spider-man due to his venom powers so in the end they have different strengths and capabilities but are still even.

One of the devs basically doubled down on them because 'players don't always know what we want, and yeah, she is OP, but I don't care.' It was even more stupid during her 'boss fight' against Symbiote brute. When they attack Peter or Miles, they are lighting fast despite their size, yet when going after MJ it's a casual strut while she unloads shots at him
I'd only want them to remove the symbiote in 3 if they could make Peter more fun without it. Even if they take it off him early on just to get it's inclusion in the game for free roam. Miles will likely keep all his abilities and more so taking an entire moveset from Peter might not feel great
imagine this what if like green goblin gets hold of the carnage’s syimboyote and becomes red goblin how he did in the comics as a final final boss
I could see them giving Cindy Moon a similar origin story to her comic book counterpart but just replace Peter with miles. Think about it. They seem relatively the same age. I doubt insomniac wants to mess with Peter and MJs relationship and it really wouldn’t alter her origin story all that much while still making the story feel fresh and original.
One thing that needs to happen is if Doc Ock's in this game like the rumours say. He needs to turn good or it'll make his surprise appearance in the 2018 game pointless. Green Goblin needs to be the main baddy of the game. He's Spidey's arch-nemesis for fuck's sake
Imagine if you could slingshot yourself off a building while crawling on it. Spiderman has a lot of potential in gaming and these studios seem afraid to try new things. The web gliders were pretty cool though and I’ll give them props for that.

Traversal, they need to add more traversal features like web of shadows… running down a building, the different l1 things like sticking to walls, cool animations of like running down a wall, and make improvement in the wall crawling. Like I wana feel like Spiderman, not just wall crawl, go faster, have cool animations while wall crawling…
I would actually like peter to keep his anti-venom powers for the next game (at least a weakened version of those powers to add some extra flare to his move list). Or a Devil May Cry style anti-venom transformation could be super interesting, and different. And super fun to play rather than basic Peter Parker (that we've have already experienced in the first game), and adding some variety to the gameplay is always a good thing in terms of innovation. (just maybe, limit his anti-venom attacks to like, a couple of tendrils that he can use that kind look like he is just using special webbing attacks)
