“Here at rocksteady we made the free flow combat which is still influential to this day, so in this game we got rid of that and made a third person shooter 😃” 😔 honestly if they would’ve used the free flow combat and the shooting in unison and find a good balance of both the gameplay would be so much more amazing
they do not need to try new things, arkham series is liked for their perfect combat, if they want to make something continuing something, they have to stick with combat flow, with a combination of things they want to add. their combat is what makes them authentic now, you simply don't do the opposite, just because you want to do something differently, the people that played it definitely was payed well to keep there mouth shut.

I don’t care what anyone else says , this game looks fun. Not anything crazy like game of the year worthy, but fun. I like how they’re exploring new perspectives of the arkhmam verse even if it isn’t from Batman or Superman or any other member of the justice league.

@@karlmarshall4482kills him like a dog after girlbossing him. Arkham Batman ended with the worst character death imaginable and an even worse send off for Kevin Conroy. The story is horrible lmao, none of the suicide squad stand a chance against any of the justice league members even by themselves. Batman 1 shot Harley, beat the real version of deadshot, has fought beings way larger than king shark and beats up rooms of like 100 regular thugs(pretty much what boomerang is)

This would've been amazing as a justice league game. Batman comes out of retirement to save the justice league along with the help of the batfamily. Tim is now red robin, nightwing doesn't want to be heir to cowl, jason comes to help, and oracle is there too. By the end of the game, batman realizes someone has to stay behind to defeat brainiac. Maybe jason has come full circle and tries to give his life for the world and batman says no and kicks jason out of the ship or whatever and batman actually dies to save the world (emotional moment). Then think of Red Dead, the epilogue is nightwing, finally realizing he is ready to be batman, and he puts on the cowl.

4 DLC characters that would make this game perfection would be Deathstroke, Lex, Killer Frost, Cheetah and give or take Black Manta since it seems Aquaman is missing from all trailers.

When I saw them reveal Ivy my heart sank as I came to realize the leaks were true..
Miller, a known credible leaker, said that the leaks are missing context and that things aren’t necessarily what they seem.
Imagine getting bent over shape about leaks that have no context.

it’s one of those games where you have to actually play it to understand just how fun it is.
It gets hectic as hell, and it’s FAST. it seems slower in these little trailers because they want to show off certain aspects and whatnot.
TRUST the gameplay is really addictive, it’s so much more fun when you get to play. I played for hours during the alpha 😭😭

Yeah. I’ve realised whoever is playing the game in the trailers is not showing the actual feel of the game, the actual game is a lot more fast paced and allows you to be creative whilst the trailers always makes seem bland which I don’t understand

I was already sold for quite some time. After playing the alpha and seeing more of the game only made my interest grow, so its automatically a day one buy for me and the friends who want to play this game with me.

Imagine somehow when we fight batman we lose and Deathstroke comes in and we fight Batman like in Arkham games but we almost win having Batman use fear or eacape and leading to bigger plot for later

Imagine playing as Deathstroke and using his katanas and his guns, I feel like he would fit perfectly in this game, playing as him in Arkham Origins was fun but it would be completely different on this scale

I really like the concept of an evil justice league, and I’m most hyped for Kevin’s final performance as Batman!!! I’m not looking for the game to be perfect. As long as those things are well executed and the gameplay is really enjoyable despite looking like Fortnite, and the boss fights are very fun, I’m good!

@@ComicEdits313yes, I don't like fornite. I tried it once. The game isn't for me. The Suicide Squad gameplay looks like fornite, which is another reason I'm not too excited. However, as I said in my comment: despite that, I'm still optimistic and hoping the gameplay will be fun.

I’m honestly super excited, I honestly liked marvel avengers like me and my friends would make a plan like one person takes that skies shoots down as iron man, and hulk destroyes the people on the bottom and Hawkeye snipes people and cap can do the little missions and now we can do that again with this game.

@@nemesisprime4501 Arkham Knight also had a mixed story but it was still a blast, I'm sure suicide squad might have a chance to be good as well even if the story is mixed.
I know there are some people that worked on the Arkham games still working at Rocksteady while some of the other people left, We got to have some faith cuz I know this game might have some good in it.
Alternatively, I might be wrong and it might not work and just in case if it doesn't work, I'll stick to the real ending of Arkham Knight and say that assault on Arkham is the real suicide squad experience even though it's a movie

6:12 I'm surprised you the found that weird... I think that's awesome they're giving us vehicles we can fly around with, and have our co-op partners get on the gunner... I think players who prefer single player are hating on this way too much... yes, I prefer Rocksteady do a Batman game, or a Bat family game... but for a co-op villain game fighting the JL this looks amazing to me... despite the horrible story leaks that might ruin the game for me... and online only that they fixed, wiht battle passes i'm trying to stay optimistic.

This game looks awesome and really promising, but hmm.. Something that concerns me is the gameplay loop. I'm afraid most of the levels are going to be the same/feel repetitive. You just fight waves of enemies and that's pretty much it, rinse and repeat. I'm torn between buying the game or just watching someone play it. The story and graphics are what intrigues me the most. But hey it might be different . Still excited!
Deathstroke would easily be the most anticipated character to play as. Deathstroke ability set alone is enough to warrant a full game. The only problem is that melee wise there doesn’t seem to be much of a system there it’s more like typical melee in shooters which is a shame. Deathstroke would be awesome with free flow combat but made mature cause deathstroke kills people so you could have lots of different kill animations for him.

It reminds me a little bit of Sunset Overdrive, at least when it comes to Harley Quinn's gameplay.
I’m personally torn between understanding Rocksteady’s sentiment of wanting to try something new in terms of game mechanics by focusing on shooters (which I’m taking with a grain of salt cuz idk how much corporate meddling was involved with that decision) and looking at the free flow combat system as an “if it wasn’t broke why did you fix it” sort of situation.
I’m still really interested in the story but as someone who’s not big on shooters, my interest in playing for myself is kind of waning I’m probably going to wait for the game to go on sale if anything. What specifically bugs me is that they keep mentioning melee combat but literally show none of it, I’m convinced this game’s melee is just finisher animations at this point until I’m proven wrong.
Ugh I don’t see why you’re using the game being a shooter as a way of not wanting to play that shit is so petty. I used to not be a fan of shooters till I tried more and enjoyed it. But yes, you can melee in the game, but the effects aren’t as strong as the weapons are.
@@slycat128 Not trying to be petty, shooters just aren't my cup of tea personally so I'm not inclined to pre-purchase them as I would genres more in my wheelhouse so to speak; I just see it as more of a gamble. But you have a point, the more I play shooters and have better experiences with them I'll most likely change my mind. Who knows, this game may be the one to do that for me-the other elements shown off so far look interesting to me enough that I *do* want to play it eventually...just debating on the decision to play on launch day is all.

@@oliviab4079 if you ever get into cod don’t get into the new ones like I did lmao it’s definitely gonna be a turn off for you if you’re just a starter I’d recommend playing Modern Warfare Remastered from 2016 or the original World at War game, as those are where I got my real starts and those games definitely got me through covid. I hope this helps!

No ones talking about it but I highly doubt the Arkham Knight statue mid trailer was just to showcase the studio… he’s gonna be apart of the story. And could potentially be the catalyst in stopping Batman in the game.

people are acting like it’s gonna be bad just because it’s live service, we’ve not seen any proof that it’s gonna be bad. interesting story, good gun combat. the only let down for me is hardly any good melee, that was one of the best things about the arkham games; the fluid combat and seamless combos, this new combat kinda just look like glorified finishers. other than that it looks sick.
