Just wanted to say that I really love the new format. I think it was a good decision to take out the questions, tips and book segment. The podcasts feel more focussed now.
Your blanket is gorgeous and going to be a treasure. Just a suggestion- stop at a dollar store and buy a vinyl tablecloth or even a shower curtain. It won’t take up too much room and will help when you are outside at a wet table to film or even to eat a meal. Love watching your adventures!
This will help when you are camping when there are others that have no respect and may toss their black water hose on it.

So glad you’re coming back to California for the Bay Area Yarn Crawl- the weather will be much better at that time. My local shop is A Pop of Color in Morgan Hill. She is a new shop and the most southern shop on the crawl. Mu Fibers (Teresa is a relatively new dyer) has dyed up a special yarn for the shop crawl called Poppy Jasper which is a stone that is only found in Morgan Hill - might want to check it out. Hope you can make it to Christie’s shop and would love a heads up when you’re coming.
I'll have my eye out for that one! We should be there this coming Sunday, but the time just depends on how the rest of our day goes!

I’m glad you had a great time in Portland. I missed the yarn crawl this year but we have 2 fiber festivals coming up later this year. My daughter recently went to Coastal Yarns in Canon Beach, like you, and bought me some beautiful yarn there. Have fun in the Bay Area. I grew up there but it’s really changed since I was a kid. You'll have to get the yarn crawl yarn at A Pop of Color in Morgan Hill CA. They're basing the colors on a jasper that is found only in the Morgan Hill area. I've been seeing photos in their newsletter.

If you have a fish or crab stitch marker it would be perfect for the Pacific Northwest. Yes the Eugene, Springfield, is wet about 9 months out of the year. Oregon does have some dry places as well.Your projects are beautiful and nicely done.

I get so many compliments on them and my homemade bags with the snap bowl cosies. I've had several requests for that. Made every size, too. It's great to grab a project bag with yarn hooks or knit needles, notions, and patterns in my bags ready to grab and go. My 78-year-old mom loves making those yarn cozies, too. She makes them big for big yarn cakes. Thanks for the inspiration and tutorials!❤️

Had to pause to say… that scrubby yarn is Satan’s snot! If you’re crocheting, double it with a cotton yarn. You’ll see why when you try it out. I see a lot of people in my forums prefer to knit with it. Many still swear by doubling with cotton.
I love crochet dishcloths. I just knit my first project and it was a dishcloth with 6mm needles. Now that I understand, I’m ready to tackle it again.

Blanket looks so cozy , very appealing today it's very windy here in Southern California. Wondering when knitting a double rim hat and doing a knit 1 purl 1 rim do you pick stitches when you fold it same as all knit stitches?. Thanks
I'm not sure! I would think it'd be easier to have one round of plain knitting to pick up from, but I haven't done a pattern like that.
@@KnittyNatty don't have a pattern but want a double rim sewn not flipped . I will check for a video on this
