Not holding Angel Reese Accountable is a Dangerous Game

- Having coached and taught in Baltimore City and seeing first hand how Angel has behaved at times during her games on her high school team at St. Frances, it is no surprise she is avoiding accountability. It doesn’t make me an expert on the matter but it does give me some insight. I hate that these days you can be called this or that because you think a young athlete should be held accountable. I also hate the division that has developed if you are a fan of Angel or Caitlin Clark. Caitlin certainly deserves to be criticized at times for some of her behavior (crying/complaining to the refs earlier in the tournament) but one player really has nothing to do with the other besides the interaction that took place last year in the championship. These women (Taylor Rooks, Cari Champion, Joy Taylor) calling out Emmanuel Acho bc of what he said about Angel claiming that he can’t speak on it because he has never been a black woman… dont you all speak mostly about men’s sports in which you have never played? You have to keep the same energy of an opportunity that allowed you all to get famous and make a ton of money to talk about something you have not actually experienced first hand. The double standard to me is mind blowing 🤯 #angelreese #Finalfour #caitlinclark

When you have a kid that thinks everything and everyone else is immaterial but them you fix that! She wants the ball give her the ball the team fails it’s on her!! The team wins it’s on her! It’s called getting humbled!
NIL corrupts sports and education.
No one from LSU will ever play in the WNBA.No coach will want a player with that kind of attitude.. they are not owed anything
She still will get drafted off of talent and a coach or organization that thinks they can help change her. Honestly, I hope that she can still grow as a young woman. Unfortunately a lifetime of not being held accountable and a bunch of money/fame probably trumps anything a WNBA team can do.
I actually believe Flau’jae is a much better overall player than Angel and will be drafted eventually too but she has some maturing to do as well.
You must be out of your mind LSU got a few players that will make the WNBA you are silly with that thinking
You have a good point you're not criticizing no one you just calling it like it is
@@adriancutler7450 Appreciate you saying that man, means a lot 🙏
I watched out of respect of all the media coverage they’ve been getting, only saw the 2nd half but she absolutely has no game either. It seems like she produces just off of being bigger and longer than the rest. All she’d do is get the ball on the block and make a pass to whoever is doubling off of her, idk why they’d double because the one iso post up she had that I saw went off glass like she’s trying to break the backboard. And then on top of that she’s a diva? I see her falling off quickly
In my opinion, she is talented but she is always in foul trouble and plays a little wild and undisciplined. She had a great first half, maybe the best half I have ever seen her play but yes the 2nd half was sloppy. I do agree with you and think she is limited offensively. She did shoot 3/9 from the free throw line yesterday I believe. But I don’t care how good of a player someone is there is no excuse to talk to your coach or other coaches the way she has the last couple games.
@@BrodSquadSports after watching her first half highlights I’ve decided I was hating, I still think she has no bag and her passing is overrated because it’s always to the open man after a weak double team is sent over. But yeah you gotta respect your teammates and staff if you want to be respected by the rest. Only time will tell
@@plateofspaghettiNah I think you have a great eye for the game!!! 👏👏👏
@@1800BrickCitySure, if it's prison ball rules.
Amen.
She’s not a real winner because it’s obvious she can’t handle defeat
She won a National Championship. Did you forget.
@@KINGJ0E Still doesn't change the fact she's acting like a baby.
The team won it. She wasn't the best on her team that day@@KINGJ0E
@@TorsteintheTitan yea right. She is a baby with a natty. Could be a lot worse. Stop hating. Not a good look.
Welcome to the world of Pro sports where she is going!
