@@DozeOffNow Honesty hope it helps the WNBA. I'm not against the WNBA, just against the notion that that are just as good and entertaining as the NBA and that they demand the same revenue stream. Basic economics would tell you that you're in a losing profession. I look forward to Caitlin Clark and others entering the WNBA, but it's like when people are drowning and you're in the water with nothing to keep you afloat, you can only save one person for so long before they drag you under. The rising stars will have an impact on the teams they join but will eventually get dragged under by the WNBA as a whole.

Her endorsement agreements, supplemental contracts with the WNBA and her salary will collectively earn Caitlin more money her first year than most WNBA players make in their professional career.

Sabrina Ionescu was the first women's college player I've learned about. Caitlin was second, then Angel Reese, etc. This new gen is gonna carry tf out of women's basketball. The last gen failed miserably
The thing a lot of the UConn woman don't understand is not only do they make things boring by all them joining same team but they all have to share a small state. While Sabrina is treated like a queen in Oregon and I bet Iowa will treat Caitlin the same way.

I'm black and can admit that what these former players are doing and saying about Caitlin is wrong and not needed. They are already attacking her and she's still playing at the college level and doing more than what most of them did when they played on the college and pro level. I just hope her game doesn't become trash when she moves to over to the pros.
What's interesting is that we're told again and again about how representation matters, that it's important for people to see someone like themselves in a given role, but it seems people who are white are not allowed to have any heroes to identify with anymore? The fact this women keep acting as they did when they were in high school is astonishing. I remember my teammates being jealous of others improvement, instead of supporting each other as a team.
