I've gotta be honest, that's probably the cleanest self stippling I've seen.
Thanks brother, at the very least it's functional.
took my G26 to a local shop here in San Antonio, Texas. They had around 9 different stipple patterns/ textures to choose from. Got the "Static" texture and an undercut done for $150.00 out the door! they did an excellent job and will return with my G19. Thanks Performance Polymer you have a customer for life!
Skidz1818 what was the name of the shop. I'm looking to get my 19 stippled. I'm in SA as well
Thank you for your contribution to the community! This is a high quality video that details craftsmanship. Thumbs up and subscribed!

This is an absolutely satisfying video to watch. Great work
Ahh, a tryptophope's nightmare. Solid work.
caman5 Thanks, brother.
I have to say this is the Best stippling video that I have seen and I've watched probably 100 or so in the past several months since I purchased my Glock 19 Gen 4 MOS Now I do feel comfortable enough to save the $400.00 they want to do my hand gun. And as you did mention it is a tool and it needs to be as functional as possible. I need to get rid of the finger wells .do a under cut ,and just trim it down a little so it will fit my hands better .Nothing too fancy maybe a crucifix on the grips. I have thick muscular hands. So it's not fitting right. And now after 2000 rounds it hurts my hand to fire because of the fit. THANKS for the awesome video now I'm confident that I can do this.
GOD BLESS .And

Great video , simple , clean and functional .
Very Good! Tks
I am getting 2 done now by a local pro. I think it makes the gun look a lot better. Also no more finger grooves. I don’t understand all these guys who think it’s stupid.
those are the guys who think it's more important to look at the gun than to be able to use it.
Excellent, excellent video!!
Thanks brother, I'm glad it was helpful!
Great lesson! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks brother, you're welcome!
Awesome video!!!
Thanks, brother!
Looks very good
Just the right amount of undercut. I've seen some that left very little material. Don't drop any of those!
nice work, great vid all around.
Thanks brother, I appreciate the positive feedback!
any more videos coming up??
can i stipple over the boxed inn checkers under the triggerguard and on the back of the grip or do i really have to flaten everything?🤔
seems to get really thin right under the triggerguard if i go down and remove everything....
the sides of my grip a flaten with 600grit water and is ready so far to receive the outlinework with following stipple pattern.
i just dont know if i can just stipple without removing material on the front and back🤷🏾♂️
would it show?
what tip did you use from the weller kit ?
You don't have to waste all that time sanding down the grip just to stipple it. Just sand the original texture off with a drum and you're good to go.
I've found that it yields more consistent results when it's sanded smooth and flat on the entirety of the stippling area. Just a personal preference.
What brand polishing compound did you use?
PSpy That specific compound was from Lee Valley but any honing compound for steel will work.
I'm sorry but even the "best" stippling jobs I have seen look like bush league garbage. That is a lot of work to ruin a good gun.
newcoyote not if it helps you get a consistent hold on the gun every time. Maybe it’s for looks or maybe it’s function..
newcoyote but I agree a lot of them look horrible.
newcoyote
I think it makes them look better
something has to be done to improve the -ugliest gun in the world- glock ;)
if you like looking at your guns then don't touch it. if you plan to use it effectively and needing a better grip helps you actually use it then why not. guns do tend to look "cool" but it's a tool, not an ornament. if it helps performance it's worth it.
