Just a word of advice. If you don’t have the tools, a steady hand or the patience, maybe this isn’t for you. Maybe even buy a junk or toy or airsoft gun to practice on first.

Very well done! I’ve stippled a few of mine years ago. I started off practicing on the back straps and speed loader so my first time wasn’t on the gun.

For anyone considering doing their own: don’t. It will not end up looking like this. This guy obviously has a lot of experience and many frames to practice on. Don’t risk ruining your $500+, brand new firearm just because you saw a video of a guy who made it look easy.
I’ve stippled a few of mine in the past, meticulously taking my time, watching hundreds of videos, using the correct tools, and regretted each one after. In fact, hated one so much that I ended up selling the whole firearm and ended up replacing it. It’s never as simple as people in videos make it seem.
Plastic isn’t a forgiving medium and mistakes are not easily corrected, should you go outside the lines or not pattern correctly. If you really want it stippled, pay once, cry once and have a pro do it for you. It will still be cheaper than buying a new frame after you mess up! And if you really want to stipple yourself, do it on some of your polymer mag plates or AR mags - much cheaper and easier to replace!
I completely agree. The casual viewer likely can't appreciate the level of skill required to properly execute this job as well as the guy in the video!

When I used to shoot in the IDPA I just use skateboard tape gives an amazing grip and doesn't damage the gun

Nicely done! Your work is absolutely beautiful. You made it look easy. I just buy frame's that have the mods I like. I've been gunsmithing for 27 years and it's just not worth the time to stipple a Glock. Especially with so many badass frame's on the market. I really enjoy building custom Glock's that don't have a single Glock part! 😂

Quick question what’s a great Dremel tool for that or what’s the one ur using and easy speed adjustment ?
Looks great but I don’t mind how my polymer competition guns look. I grab the woodburner and 15 mins later I have a frame that bites back when I grab it.
Question, what’s the speed on the first dremel bit used for the border? I have the same one and I’ve been practicing on a glock case and sometimes I’ll hit snags. Any advice will be appreciated!

I appreciate the work, but I just can’t help but feel cutting into the frame like that will weaken the polymer frame to the point of cracking if it drops.
Hello a couple of questions, do you have to take heat for consideration while doing this? Would the tool melt the plastic if used too long? Why is the mag inserted ?
What's the advantages of doing this vs just getting talon grips or something?
This is exactly why WTT does my stippling lol.
The only reservation I have about stippling my glock is that rough grips are like sand paper on your stomach when you appendix carry.
I recently decided to sell an older Glock that was custom stippled by a shop what I found out is a lot of shops won't buy a firearm that's been stippled because it's a modification to the overall frame something to consider ahead of time
Do you have a specialty tip in your burner to do the stippling or is it just a pointed one.
