Eare we go was so good on Snikrot with Commandos. You could put it on them, telyport the unit afterwards and turned a 9" charge into a 7" for a unit which can't get overwatched. It's a shame that Commandos are so expensive. About the Warhorde Detachment, I said it will be the best the moment I had the book in my hands. The "Buffs" on Ghaz and Meganobz, which also make the Mega Warboss a thing, make this so good. Not to mention the Beastboss which got back to the glory of the start of 10th is an incredible thing.
I loved this video series, you are awsome in explaining tactics !
Oh cheers homie! I super appreciate your support! Glad i was able to share effectively!
Another awesome video my man, I’m Going to run war horde in my next game after watching this, using lots of your list ideas.
Going to try 3 trukks with warboss,5 nobz, 5 flash gitz. I remember you saying it didn’t work for you when you tried it but love the idea of having some shooting.
Going to try a unit of Koptas too.
Keep up the good work👍🏻
Thank you for your content! Great seeing your enthusiasm!
I am still unsure about BB vs WH, and which one crumps better! Two turns of Waaagh (BB) also gives more flexibility with the advance and charge, and two turns of 4+++ on the MANz is just amazing..
But I'll definitely try out the WH including your ideas and inputs!
Cheers
I love Bully Boys! no shade thrown at them! I just personally think Warhorde edges them out
I'm loving the informational content so far!
Glad you enjoy it!
You sir, are a fucking legend!
Thanks so much for all of the effort on the videos about the new detachments! They have been super motivating and immensely informative for a noob krumper like myself.
Big love ❤
Oh cheers man, greatly appreciate the kind words. I am happy i was able to share some good stuff!
Been looking forward to this 1! definitely some things to think about. I do really like that Megaboss solo idea. You're also really selling me on some flash gitz
Give them a whirl and report back! Id like to hear how he does for you
WE MADE IT!!! LETS GO LADS!!!
Great video! Looking forward to the Staging video!
Now that the new stuff is out, i appreciate the war horde even more
yeah man, the detachment is so good and versatile
Ive been experimenting with a 5man of nobz w/big choppas and its been working out. Vs kaiju daemons they did more dmg than the power klaw guys(both were wounding on 5's). Im preparing to fight green tide orkz and i think they'll work better. Also, in war horde, because of the sustained hits and 'ard as nails, i think you can get away with using a painboy with them(specifically vs green tide i think this is better)
try it out, i have found it super underwhelming! But you need to experiment to find what works for you!
I feel like the only time i would use big choppas is if i run a Nob unit without a warboss, because the powerklaws really want that +1 to hit. The Big Choppas dont really need it entirely. So i suppose 5 Nobz with big choppas and no warboss is a decent unit to bully smaller units.
Zodgrod „Green Ghost” Wortsnagga. Leader of Red Skull Kommando Grots. Sneakiest git there can ever be 😉
He is such a saucy minx!
Ohhhh a way to run my favorite model!! Im putting warboss in mega armor in the list right now.
heck yeah try that bad boy out!
It was very informative, I'm gonna try the WARHORDE next week. Can you send me the link of your video détailling the "tacty strategy with Trukks"
ua-cam.com/video/l9EpUMIiNHA/v-deo.html here you go bud
Yeesssss!!!!
I’m interested in warhoard because it fits my collection best. I need more meganobz for bullies and more boyz for green tide (only about 70 boyz currently)
But if I don’t want to proxy, i can get good use from war hoard I think
Warhorde and Bully list are honestly close to interchangable alot of times, some people like to run 2-3 mega nob units in warhorde and it is not a bad take
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 looks like it’s time to get a second job. I can afford warhammer just fine, but not according to my wife 😜
Definitely still my detachment of choice. I love building orks around ghaz and building for damage. Bully boyz may be all the hype and I wont deny it is very strong and I like the playstyle im not going to invest in 5 more meganobz right now. That entire build dies the second meganobz get a big point increase and/or a nerf to the fnp
Hats off dude!
Cheers my man! I appreciate your support
THIS GONNA HELP ME GET TO KRUMPIN BETAH!! WAAAGH 🍻
the dream!
I had to submit my list last sat. Wish you posted this earlier 😢
Next time! Also dont hesitate to book a coaching call if you ever need help with prep
Thank you very good video as always!
Some questions please:
- why no squighog with or without warboss on squigosaur? even if nerfed they're not bad in this detachment! if so instead of which unit?
- battlewagon now can bring Ghaz and 3 mega, is it a choice or too many points in a single brick?
Many thanks 😊
hey bud! Ask this in the discord! we can go into more detail
Could you please make a Video on how to properly Play Snikrot? Sure he ist great in almost every Detachment. I have Seen many ways people deploy him and use hin for move and deployment blocking as well as Holding your Home objective. I am Not sure what is da best strategy. ❤
running through the characters in the new codex is likely to happen :) Individual video request are submitted in the members discord though!
I've been puzzling over how to use Zodgrod. I felt like he would be optimal with a unit of 22 Gretchin, so he can buff the most runts. Is it better for screening or sheer maneuverability to go with the 11-man bodyguard? Other than this, I'd like to use him in Dread Mob, mainly to use the unique grenade strat and to take advantage of their Battleline status when the new mission deck comes into play.
most of the time with a 20 man, he just becomes impossible to hide and gives up blast alot more. 11 tends to be the sweet spot. I use him as an assassin and an OC buff
Howdy. Love your videos. I wanted to ask what is an MSU unit. You reference Jump Assault Intercessors. But I can't seem to find any information online about what that means.
Minimum sized unit! so for JPI it would be a 5 man :)
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 Thank you greatly. I didn't expect a reply back so quickly. You rock! Keep up the awesome work and I look forward to seeing more of your Ork content.
Cheers buddy!
I mean...Sustained hits 1 is mathematically on average exactly the same as +1 hit. It doesn't matter if you get minus 1. The fact that you "lose it" means you counter your minus. The only thing sustained does different is that the variance increases, which most people see as a bad thing.
The only times sustained 1 is better than +1 hit is when you have access to rerolls, and even then it depends on the starting WS and what reroll.
Case in point:
4+ to hit with sustained 1 rolls: 0 0 0 1 1 2 = 4/6 average
3+ to hit rolls: 0 0 1 1 1 1 = 4/6 average
Now you get minus 1 hit
5+ to hit with sustained 1 rolls: 0 0 0 0 1 2 = 3/6 average
4+ to hit rolls: 0 0 0 1 1 1 = 3/6 average.
It changes the average distribution, because of spike potential :) for example, if you roll 3 6's getting 6 hits off that roll matters
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 yes, that’s variance. And it’s generally a bad thing in a game like 40k when you want reliability and to be able to plan. You can take variance if it increases your average output, but in this case it’s not a positive.
@@atsilleps There is a lot more in the game than pure average, this is not a great way to think about 40k. What sustained also introduced is spiking, which is very common in melee for us.
Without sustained, those 5 attacks can generate a maximum of 5 hits. That is not true for sustained, they can get more hits than attacks. It happens quite often with units like ghaz, beastboss, snaggas for example.
Yes, in quick math average, it is almost the same. But sustained or hitting on 1 better was are definitely not the same.
Theorycraftet a bit after I saw this vid.
Why supa-cybork on Mega Warboss instead of deffkilla trike or on the beastboss on squig for running solo?
I dont have any of the latter models, but they seem superior to big homie in megaarmor?
i have always hated the deffkilla, its base makes it super obnoxious to me, The mega boss is significantly tankier with his 2+ and he has a much smaller base which i find more valuable, he is also 50 pts cheaper than the squig boss. I am not saying those 2 are not options, i just like the megaboss with SCB the most
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 Cheers, didnt consider the natural 2+ warboss has.
So his job is to footslog/advance up the board the first turn or two, and then just be a menace?
How would you feel about Ghaz w/ x6 Meganobs as a Death Star unit that always has Ard as Nails on it?
I do like having the army double dip on Ghaz’s banner aura on waaagh turn. I feel that Beast Snagga Boyz get a lot of mileage in general
its definitely a way to go, i recommend spreading the damage out a little more in general though
As a non-Ork player, how is this detachment different now than it was when it was the index option? I see it's doing very well at the moment, so it's clearly good, but what changed that made the list go from the win-rate it had to how it's doing now?
Data sheet changes and a massive Meta shift
why not 6 megas with ghaz or a warboss with the tele?
is it just over kill?
teleporta is only in BB not warhorde :) Also you could of course build a 6 man with ghaz, this list is to give people a great starting point, there are tons of ways you can build the army.
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 i just never see 6, guessing out of the two boxs they make a mega mek. just curious before i turn mine into 6 megas.
enjoy your content, thank you.
@@-Oittz-the big reason is you take 5 meganobz with a megaboss or megamek. That is 6 bodies, 2 slots each in a transport. So the trukk can only hold 5+leader, not 6+leader
I love war horde, but I don’t think a mega boss on his own gets 4+++. His data sheet doesn’t have it.
That would be the enhancement called Supa Cybork Body
Enhancement buddy, listen to the whole clip :)
Not having it on a deffkilla makes cybork feels like a huge mistake
ive never been a fan of his, i know some people like him
Super bad takes and incorrect information in this so far, and im only up to enhancements
What parts? As your comment is a bit vague.
what information was wrong?
Must be joking😳
