I know it isn’t the meta but this is my favorite detachment because you always feel like you get a ‘win’ when bringing down your prey(s) during a game… created a banner for my BBOS and thinking of having a running tally mark for every prey kill. Last game I played… turn 1 scouted, moved, and charged a Land Raider that thought was safe. Unstoppable momentum for 4 mortals with drag it down and bam LR dead! Best thematic detachment period.
I am so with you, i love this detachment. It honestly only needs one or two small shifts to make it highly competitive as well

Another use case for ‘where day fink your going’ is to embark in a transport when a unit falls back from you (provided you’re wholly within 9)

Best detachment for me. 3x10 boys, 2x8 hogs, 2 rigs, some grots , let's go! Love it.
Tried the Pain boss, but like you said, you don't bring orks to make them tough, you krump!
Mozrog's nerf was really unnecessary, but he also lost the Monster keyword, so it's "okay". He still deals a ton of damage against Monster/Vehicles/Titans.
The Squig Tank Shock is imo way better than the normal one. 9-12 dice cause MW on a 4+! Tank shock only on 5's. My blobs dealt 5 MW with this every round (got a bit lucky xD).
Fixed is also nice for this detachment, allows you to krump all the way.
Also, we need Zodgrot to gain the Beastsnagga keyword! He was in the BS FOMO launch box, he is a Beast Snagga. Why does he not have the keyword? :(

@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 If I start smashing him, especialy regularly that should be a bit of a potential concern since he was on your team in Oslo some moths ago (he brought a Tyranids Norn/Assimilators list). hehe I'm still pretty new at the game (I haven't really played since 5 ed I think it was), so I have a lot to catch up on so although I don't play Orks myself, I need to be somewhat aware of their strengths and tricks. :-)
good reasoning on beastboss vs painboss. wasnt sure which i should use, as i felt 5+ feel no pain wasstrong, but convinced to swap it out for another beastboss
I'm curious cuz you mentioned it a couple times. How are you getting a unit to move in a transport, disembark, advance, and charge all in turn 1? You can't Advance or Move after disembarking from a transport that moved this turn. Unless I missed something?

i have never said that :) What i have said, is you disembark (gaining 3 inches of movement) Then advance and charge, then advance another unit into the trukk, then move the trukk

Every single game I have ran Da Big Hunt, I have always ran glory hog. Guaranteed 1st turn charges are sooooooo satisfying 😂

I like 1x20 and 2x10 snagga boys and leave one 10x unit inside the hunta rig to take advantage of its special rule

Might consider picking up one of the new combat patrols in a while after i've had my fun with some of the other detachments, I have the christmas box + another 4 squighogs and 1 other squigboss for beastsnagga stuff. the enhancements and stratagems are really fun
These new CP's and battle forces make me jealous haha, would have loved to have them when i started collecting
@@Happykrumpingwargaming007 upset about painboss being kinda useless now, his usefulness was tied to the squig bosses, probably will just proxy him as a 2nd painboy for other detachments
Kind of think stakin taktiks should be like gsc. You get stealth and "lone op." for the unit.
Great video as always! What are your thoughts on ghaz in the hunt? The lethals seem to lean into what this detachment is doing well (especially crit 5s rerolling on snaggas)?
Honestly ghaz is so good, he can be slotted into ANY detachment
Scouts is a normal move too, would that trigger squigbomb? Also what rapid ingress / strat reseveres deploying?
no because its before the game starts, and rapid/arriving from reserves used to until GW changed the commentary and specified that is does not.
this army detachment sorely needs +1 to wound or access to wound re rolls as well as SOME defensive strat literally anything...and the painboss / painboy should work like DG characters and be able to lead a unit and not count toward the cap

I'm thinking of putting a painboss and twenty snagga boyz in a hunta rig to be a bullet sponge.
Is there any "out of phase" nonsense that could prevent bomb squigs from working with the strat? It is in the movement phase, just not your own.
sadly that is just an overpriced bad bullet sponge imo. But good news for the hogs, no! No out of phase stuff to worry about. They can throw bombs after completing a Normal move! The strat specifies its a normal move!

Honestly the notion of orks hittng on 5s is out dated and not working - at least give us pistols hitting on 3s with str 5 and -1 ap
i dont mind 5's, but on weapons which are factored in as one of the main abilities of a unit..... thats just bad writing
