I have been wanting an electro-acoustic guitar and wondered whether I needed to make an additional investment into an acoustic amp. Initially I thought I could just find a setting on my GX-100 but began to doubt. Do you think the GX-100 acts as a good substitute?

Hi Rod, your shure you cant switch off the preamp. I do so on the 20 year old Boss gt pro and i create top acoustic Sounds, Just using param eq, effects Like RB, DL, limiter....
