I destroyed my knees rowing in college ... destroyed. Worse, it was in the 80s before we had OTC knee braces and wraps and such, so ... I suffered. Before the destruction, I was 150lbs squatting 500lbs. I was all thighs, and then ... tri-compartmental osteoarthritis at the age of 20. So ... I stopped doing leg work. I gave up. This video ... I am humbled. Humbled. I've already been back in the gym for three months, solid, and I am back to LOOKING athletic, but ... THIS VIDEO ... I. am. humbled. Leg day is back on the schedule. I'll wrap my knees tighter/better and ... do what needs to be done. Carefully, thoughtfully ... but determined. Thank you for posting this.

I was watching her feet, I’m trying to get better with my feet when pressing and squatting. I appreciate this video, she gave me insight on the mentality. It’s tough for the best of us, she’s definitely one of the best, but it’s about what you really want to do, you’ll get through it if you want. This was perfect for me today… Leg Day❤
Yep. 3 hours in the gym on leg day absolutely flies by. My workouts are at least 2 hours each day and I love being in there. If I'm not pumped and exhausted at the end, I feel like I didn't do myself justice. I'm 6'3" and my legs are strong but hard to build size because they're so long. My upper body is chiseled tho. I get girls half my age all the time until they find out I'm old enough to be their DAD, and then the conversation immediately comes to an abrupt halt. They'd all rather be abused, cheated on, disrespected, and lied to by a guy their own age than be treated like a queen by a 52 year old.

Pick a couple lifts and do them hard 2-3 times a week for 6 weeks. Nothing fancy. You'll be surprised. It almost doesn't matter what lifts. You'll get results.
At 51.... as i look back on my life at 32 years of age.... My lifetime friend & i hit the gym on a sunday to work quads & calf's. He squatted 225 for 4 sets of 10 reps. I squatted 275 for 5 sets of 10 reps. I haven't squatted in 19 years; and would definitely have to work my way up to that weight. My knees would probably tell me to f*ck off in regard to me bottoming out on every repetition. This young diva is phenomenal!!! i couldn't hope to match her lower body strength; regardless of the journey. SHE'S NATURAL!!!; and i feel good knowing that she is. i believe she has THEE STRONGEST quadriceps in North America. ♠️THE VANITY ADDICT♠️

When "The Why" is mostly aesthetics I lose motivation. For a lot of people it is about looking in the mirror og getting reactions from the outside world. But I am a runner and mostly do strength work to support this and overall strength to support everyday life.
