Appreciate it brother (and everyone)! Glad you enjoy it, got plenty there that's been well gone over. Pi still has a soft spot here. I usually push it as far as I personally can and put on what runs mostly well. Not everything is perfect, but it gets better with each Pi. Going to be my last Pi 5 effort regardless. Merry Christmas! Yes, there are duplicates in Arcade because it includes FBNeo and MAME sets arcade uses as a whole (some games with FBNeo didn't work and I included them with MAME). As a heads up to most, if you have difficulty controlling anything in Dreamcast, hit Select+A (or X depending on what kind of controller you're using) to open RetroArch -> Quick Menu -> Controls -> change it to Left Analog only (not forced) and save the remap controls file to Core in the same menu area. Should work after that and you wont have to do it again.
Hey @wolfanoz, I'm the author of the Arcade Planet Theme. Thanks for using it in your build, appreciate it ! Just wanted to say that the scraping method you used doesn't match the theme (as it's written in the eadme), so it doesn't look like intended. Mix images are not good for that theme.
Love your theme (and hats off). Everyone has their own preference in scraping methods and taste. Thought that template used looked the best overall personally. I had a few people already ask about it.
@@TheEvilDindonLove the theme and hats off. As for the scraping methods, it wasn’t using Screenscraper in full (ARRM) as it has connection issues more than not, went with a four mix template (plus the carts changing in the system looked super nice, unless it was disc). Everyone has their own preference but will remember that down the road . But the theme looks great, had a few friends in the community ask about it already. Included a few themes for people to switch out as well but that’s their preference as usual.
Awesome! Having my Raspberry Pi 500 delivered tomorrow and also a 5TB external SSD. Perfect timing! Thanks for this bud. EDIT: Fukken lol I totally forgot I'd previously u/l to backups. Time to spend those points I guess!!.. Ratio: 20.80 | Bonus: 110,330.00 Up: 9.69 TB | Down: 477.14 GB
LoL!! Ditto! I "Built" 5 emulation machines, 2 Tiny pc's and 2 laptops and 1 Netbook. The netbook surprised me with it's quad core Atom processor. It plays PSP fine, been playing God of War Chains of Olympus very well.
Whenever I’ve had any of these huge collections I end up with choice paralysis. I find when I trim it down to what I know I like and is good it makes things easier to enjoy. For me personally.
I like playing games I know and games new to me I've never heard of. With Batocera, you can set it up to play a random video for the screensaver and when you press start it automatically launches that game so it's a great way to play some random game instead of sitting there getting choice paralysis.
Pretty much have mini systems and handhelds to cover all the way up to right before the PS2 - the PS2 and Dreamcast are where I see the jitter in cut scenes and slow performance. Is Raspberry PI really up to those without breaking the bank? If so I may finally take the plunge... But to be clear I'm a 10-20 game guy - Fatal Frame, Silent Hill, Haunting Ground, Ku-On, Omikron, a few more Ive never tried - expensive games to buy for the original system things you really sit down and play for an hour. Don't need 30,000 games on a carousel to play for 5 min each- have systems for that.
Hi, great work, thank you. I've downloaded it, put it on a 1TB SSD and plug it into the Pi5, it's working great but I have no image, no video for ALL games from ALL systems ? Any "settings" I'd need to update/change ?
How well can the RPI5 run PS2 games? I ask because I don't think the RPI6 will be able to run PS3 games, and if the RPI5 runs all PS2 games then we could very well be looking at the RPI's peak, as far as retrogaming goes anyhow.
@@ktechnology9146 it’s got a while to go (new hardware iterations) before it gets there, full framerate. Emulation geared towards Linux based SBCs would help immensely with that as well.
No, the hardware won’t run it well. It’s not quite there yet kind of like how things were with the Pi 3 for N64 and Dreamcast. The Batocera team doesn’t even include it for SBC versions because of it.
There’s 1278 us release ps1 games I’m not sure where your getting 1287 I can see the arc the lad collection is split but other than that you would also have to have out of region releases as well
@Madlittlepixel aren't you worried a little bit that if you keep advertising this site to the general public that something bad might happen to it in the future? Just saying.

Thanks for the Christmas gift Wolfanoz!
I appreciate all the mofo magic you've made in all of your collections, Much thanks and happy holidays to you and yours.

Always appreciate your content brother!
Love Wolfanoz's builds.
I remember when everyone was losing their minds over the Raspberry Pi 3. We've come a long way in emulation so far.
You are correct, this is a nice clean fresh build. Thanks for the upload.
Is it strange that I want to build these things more than I want to actually play the games?

Thought this was a review of the Super- Sega System 😂 Happy Xmas everyone
I got my Pi5 and the ssd addon. Took a while to put the image on there etc, but dang that's so nice!
Another great video stuff since Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W (The cheaper one which can play PS1 game) i watch. 😁👍
Yo! Enjoying the videos, where ya lives been??
Nice video! I may snag me a Pi 5 and this image now.
The site design itself is so good, I swear it could also be used as a desktop background!
What is the best budget mini pc that can play retro games and up to ps4 games with no problem
Get me a piece of pie! Is there music incl. w the ps1 games??
@@an_ancient_gamer 😂 of course music with the ps1 games, Wolfanoz knows what hes doing lol. Not one of those rom dumps haha
@Madlittlepixel cool man, thx!
I want this with the light gun. Which one do you recommend?

Wondering if there is a windows 10 for pi?
I got this to work, but I have to keep manually selecting the nvme drive at boot. Any way to bypass/automate this?
What pi 5 version you got there 4 or 8gb version???
Can you review the Jetson Orin super nano and compare it to the Raspberry pi 5
How does Rogue Squadron 2 and 3 run on Pi5?
After you get past the intro Lucasarts screens (which oddly run slow), it runs mostly well actually.
Do u know if the arcade 1up buck hunter sinden guns work like the normal ones?
It should, I have the regular Sinden with recoil and it works fine
Used to love RBPI but getting multi-player on there to work is next to impossible
Netplay actually works pretty well now and you can just watch people play as well which is cool.
@Wolfanoz I meant to say local multiplayer
time to replace my 512 wolfanoz build :)
And use the Jetson Orin on retro hard drive

Whats his website name?
Does this image work on a PC as well?
no.
But, if you want the ROMS, this is a great way to get them for the lazy people.
Discworld!!
Pi4 all the way. Composite video out for the win.
Any way to trim this down a tad bit before installing?
I have 20tb of roms. All backed up.
So No PS2 Emulation?

Can you delete the games you don’t like ?
Is this setup Abe to be bought anywhere?
I'm done with Pis. Using PCs is where I am at now and will not look back at all. I respect the PI world though not bashing it or anything.
❤
Best and cheapest set up is the Beelink SER5 PC or higher and the Kinhank 12TB 6 in 1 hard drive
Do you need computer to play this
You need a raspberry pi5, there is a link on the description for the complete kit for $145 plus another $80 for a 1tb sd card
There’s 1278 us release ps1 games I’m not sure where your getting 1287 I can see the arc the lad collection is split but other than that you would also have to have out of region releases as well
Today you can easily find N100 barebone mini pcs for $80-$90. The Intel GPU is way more powerful than in Pi 5.
Ya 2020 kinda let the cat out of the bag when it comes to raspberry pi lol. ESP32/ rp2040 is kinda were its at now.
Would have been cooler with a cheaper alternative cause the pi 5 is the same price as a mini pc
can someone build one for me ?
With only a handful of seeders, this torrent is undownloadable... In fact, it's stalled for a while now...
whats the address?
@Madlittlepixel aren't you worried a little bit that if you keep advertising this site to the general public that something bad might happen to it in the future? Just saying.
Yeah that site is generally under the radar. Really bad move to bring attention to it.
So its a one back exclusive yet, sharing roms is illegal good to know who to send the lawyers after xD
Pi is over
Nah, it still has a following. But thanks for the watch!
Why would you bring attention to that site? Kind of reckless for someone that champions emulation
Champions emulation and let's normal people know how to do stuff. Tiny back room whispers helps nobody.
Can you talk less and cut to the point?
