Also being in the band who started this kinda shit
Johnny Franck Productions oh look its the autotune guy from attack attack that got hit in the face on warped tour
@@legaciestr that's also the man who produced a ton of good band, including his own : Bilmuri
I hate watching these videos. Always makes me wish they were real songs >.>
That was a lovely unsuspecting turn, glad you like them :D
same :D when steve t used random metalcore riffs too and i was like damn he knows what we want to hear
Just listen to Fear Factory.
Why? This intros sounded like generic core bs imo
Same - epic intro's man
Hands down the best intro was " U want sum intro hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?"
:D
1. Memphis May Fire
2. Parkway Drive
3. Down & Dirty
4. Wage War
5. Crown the Empire
6. blessthefall
7. Architects
8. Oceano
REALLY close :)
2 as I lay dying?
2 reminded me of trivium's down from the sky
@@stayVLR and The heart from your hate
2 actually reminds me of the song Into The Storm by Insomnium
I love how we all heard actual "hey, hey" in our heads
I know you did
I was questioning if the video said it lol
@@18idlesuggest These are some serious mindfuckery
I didn’t hear it I was saying hey with it
What first time when i watched that i seriously tought that there was hey heys on the vid but when i rewatch there is not, what a mind fuck
Miss may i
starting Need for Speed Most Wanted 0:48
Aha yes!
Lenny, du hier?
lol, made me miss my ps2. both nfsu2 and mw has some good tracks in them
Pokemon und Metal, beste Kombination
Wasn't that "Nine Thou" by Styles of Beyond, some kind of remix?
Could you please make a full version of the "Maka Me Cri :("?
If I get enough requests for it :)
PLEASE
Nik Nocturnal WE WANTS IT MASTER *Gollum voice*
S U C C
Bro do it
Ah.. The old 00000005555555558888887777777. Always makes for good music. Does something to my soul.
bruceoort cuz it’s a i iv VI V chord progression, one of the most common progressions in pop music
Coznester Smiff r/wooooooosh
@@juleswinter7083 there's a subreddit for people like you using more than 4 o's
Tales Grimm and for people liking to it outside of reddit
Coznester Smiff isn’t it 1-5-6-4
The lofi addict is my favourite
Mine as well!
Maybe make it hurt, Tremonti?
Yep so freaking brutal
me too bro;-)
How to it btw ? :(
all of these can literally be hit songs, great job man
Thank you for the kind words my friend :)
The "dude what was in that brownie" riff was fucking sick
We need a full version of "Maka Me Cri" and "Dude, what was in that brownie?", please
Cex Metal yes please
Emo spotted
Yes agreed
Kinda reminds me of BMTH. Stuff is hella good
He used only one music in the entire video lol. Use shazam
"Just Make The Computer Do It" is straight up Disturbed😂😂
^^ YES
I got more Linkin Park vibes, though that may have been because the riff straight up sounded like One Step Closer
@@heyimjoshnicetomeetya same.. 🤘🏻
I thought the exact same thing!
*i liked the intro*
Thank you!
*which one*
@@harcrof2887 the intro one
You want sum intros huummm
Can we just stop to appreciate how tasty this dude's riffs are, every single time.
"check this riff, its fucking tasty"😈
Drum solo: Miss may I
Hey Hey: as i lay dying
Lo Fi addict: after the burial
An intro to remember: ADTR
Maka Me Crie: Currents

Exactly!
*U WAN SUM INTROS? HMMMMM???*
Edit: next video would be outro... Maybe....
Maybe ;)
My first thought while watching this video!
Though I feel that Maka me cri :'( works even better as an overused outro.
And middles?
U WAN SUM OUTROO? HMMMMMM?
“Maka Me Cri” makes me wanna think of Tears Don’t Fall
Sounds like Insomnium to me
“Maka me cri” is definitely my preferred sound. Love songs which are melancholy and have a this eery vibe to it.
true
That was a full album pretty much. Just name the songs after Tom Cruise movies and you're done
Lmao love this.
I second this, I want an album.
😂😂😂
Mission impossible part 2: the nikiral and the sleeper (why did I have to make this a Tom cruise/Nik/DT reference no one will ever know)
"open your eyes NIKolas"
I need more bands like "Maka me cri :'(" for sure.
Glad you enjoyed it :)
Full “Maka me cri :’(“ song please
Vildjharta?
That kinda thing is pretty common with Doom Metal and Post-Rock/Metal. I recommend checking out Endtime by Katatonia. Really beautiful clean intro and awesome AWESOME track. The album it’s from is in my top 4 favourite albums of all time. A true masterpiece with the best vocals I’ve ever heard. Hail to Mikael Akerfeldt, he is God 🙌🏻
Wolf-G yaaas please
"Dude, What Was In That Brownie?" sounds like an Architects' intro, and I'm loving it
Dude what was in that brownie was actually kinda tight 😂
dam right it was. it think they put some sugar in it
I must be basic af cos I loved them all lol
Aha glad you enjoyed them :D
Can confirm, you are basic
So are your covers 🙈
I'm glad I scrolled all the way down to this burn.
"Dude what was in that brownie" reminded me of quantum flux by northlane. i'm probably wrong.
Like Buutter!
exactly what i thought too
It's pretty much any Djent band.
It reminded me of something that would be in the Zombies mode of the Black Ops series.
sounded a lot like these colours dont run by architects
"Maka Me Cri" full song please..
Maybe...
Make me CRI
Full song.PLEASE MY BIRTHDAY IS APRIL 5TH THAT WOULD BE THE NEXT PERFECT BIRTHDAY GIFT BEHIND AUGUST BURNS RED GAURDIANS NEW ALBUM FROM THE BEST PROGRESSIVE METALCORE BAND ANY OF US HAVE EVER SEEN
@@NikNocturnal do ittttttttttt
The Lo-Fi addict might be my favorite type of intro. If the drop is just right, you just know the song is gonna be dope.
most used guitarist pose
That's a great idea!
Holding the guitar, eating the guitar, where is the guitar?
The Hetfield Wannabe
*krabcore*
Loved that lil jab at ADTR lmao 1:06
The Pursuer is there a song they have with a similar intro though?
Randeep Singh idk it just sounds like something they play
Randeep Singh „Mr. Highways thinking about the end“ has some similarities to this
1958 for sure
The Pursuer i
Something about the Lo-Fi effect always makes the song 10x better imo. Always instantly add it to my playlist with the Lo-Fi effect
As a drummer I can honestly say I LOVE drum solo intros
Yoooo, the riff on “Just, Make The Computer Do It” was sick.
Thank you :)
1:45 just like Trivium-As I am Exploding
Agenk Trivium you’re right. Holy shit.
Ikr, sounds so nu metal.
The Lo-Fi Addict haha yes😂
I use that one far too often.
Asking Alexandria - The Black :D
Joiner haha yes!!
Wage war
Consume-Polaris
The most used intros in NU Metal
*metalcore
0:30 *Parkway Drive jam into this riff*
Dude, these "most used" videos are too good haha I'm guessing you wrote all those intros? I could see all these intros being parts of some seriously sick songs haha!
Thanks Jeremy! Yes, I make all the tracks for these vids, mainly just for the vids, it's rare I reuse them for original material :)
I need full version of "maka a me cri" , "lo-fi addict" and "let the computer do it"
And what about different types of guitar tricks?
And I'm not gonna lie, the "maka me cri" reminds me of the new Bullet For My Valentine album
Imraan Akollo-Arenz let the computer do it feels like early linkin park.
Závodszki Ábel I hear it now
If I get enough requests I'd love to :)
Nik Nocturnal wait for the types of tricks or the low fi, computer and cri :'(?
is ''just make the computer do it' sampled from blue stahli ultranumb?
Atreyu, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, It Dies Today, etc. were my jams and this video is the truest thing I've ever heard.
Lo-Fi is so daamnnn reall 💯
Btw Let the computer do it is soo Motionless In White haha
Yes!
"Hey, Hey!" Gave me August Burns Red vibes :o
*nice intro btw*
It sounded like the rhythm from composure
*newer parkway drive
I thought it was 95% identical to The Heart From Your Hate by Trivium :D
Or nearly the entire album at heart by miss may I
As I lay Dying vibes for me
Man your tone is so spot on. Much better than many professional UA-camrs
I’m gettin linkin park vibes form “just make the computer do it”
Defiantly sounds like some Drop D for sure.
Linkin Park and Disturbed
Hate to say it but its true
the lo-fi addict is the best one by far. ESPECIALLY when they slowly fade the drums in like that. views from the sun by thornhill is a prime example of that intro
0:43 nice miss may I reference
It was essentially a reference to any old school metalcore, but that works too :)
Reminds me more like an As i lay daying one
Maka me cri is my thing and I just realised it.
My favourites are: "Maka me cri :'(" and "Dude, What was in that brownie?"
They just sounded so great
Creative af. Every riff is just pure awesomness and deserves to be put in a song(or it's just me wanting to hear more of this). Keep up the good work!
0:49 could be "The Black" from Asking Alexandria
Thebruhman 03 it sounds like most of that album.
Hayden Gaxiola 😂😂😂
Could also be pinned down and fisted by infant annihilator
Lux Arborum I'll give it a listen 😂
Kinda sounds like the beginning of the black or let it sleep
You forgot:
1. The vocal intro: This is an intro wherein the singer screams a few words before the rest of the band kicks in.
2. The bass groove intro: This obviously is when the bass player jams a little groove before the rest of the band kicks in.
3. The tribal intro: This is wherein the band composes a percussionary intro using mostly tribal instruments.
4. The doom intro: This is wherein the band plays a very simple chord progression that is sluggish before much of anything really eventful happens in the song. These intros can take a long time.
5. The fade in: This is an intro wherein the volume is gradually raised mid groove till the lyrics kick in.
6. The panning djent intro. This is where a serious of Djents are played from left to right before the stereo mix kicks in.
7. The pick slide: This is wherein the drummer plays a big fill as the guitars slide into the first riff of the song.
8. The metal guitar solo intro: See songs like "South Of Heaven"
9. The mathy intro: This is when the band plays a choppy and odd intro that is intended to be confusing or complex.
10. The audio clip intro: This is when a band takes something from a movie or TV show to intro the song.
11. The industrial intro. This is when a band composes an intro that is largely comprised of industrial noises.
12. The classical intro: This obviously is when a band uses classical instruments to intro a song.
13. The drum groove intro: This is when the drummer plays a relatively simple groove for a few measures before the band kicks in. See songs like "Digital Bath"
14. The singer and guitar player duo. This is an intro wherein the singer and the guitar player start the song together but without the rest of the band.
15. The rhythm section intro with vocals. This obviously is wherein the rhythm section and the singer start off the song without guitars. Sometimes this will include bass guitar sometimes not. See The Dillinger Escape Plan's "Room full of eyes"
16. Creepy clean guitar and Djent intro. This is when one guitar player starts the song with a creepy clean part and soon after the rest of the band kicks in with a Djent groove as the creepy clean part continues to play underneath everything.
17. The backwards mix intro: This is when the band plays something they recorded but in reverse to intro a song.
18. Just scream your balls off intro: This intro is when the singer just screaming his ass off all by himself for a couple bars before the band comes in. Not to be confused with "the vocal intro" which only contains a few words.
19. The 4 count on the snare intro: The drummer simply hits four hits on the snare before the song kicks in.
20. The bell of death: This is obviously wherein the drummer hits one bell before the whole band jumps in.
That first one with the drum intro was some At The Gates shit, love it 🤘
Sounded like C.A.N.C.E.R. in a way to me too
Hey-Hey sounds like Bullet For My Valentine
All these riffs were fire! When do we get another Nik Nocturnal album?
Thanks Michael! It's in the works :)
1:20 - 1:41 love it. Best part of this video!
Fuerlee - Thirst for Riot and Revenge
Nik that riff starting at 1:41 was so dope man
THAT BROWNIE MELTED MY FACE OFF!.. lol always amazing man. These were so awesome & spot on
"An intro to remember" is literally every underøath song
1:05 An intro to remenber just sound like messhugah's future breed machine
Love the tone man
Make that make me cry into a full song please....:) ☺️ Love it
We want the full version of MAKA ME CRY, PLEASE, DUDE!
I wish Maka me cri was a full song
I am so happy I found your channel bro, I love every single one of your videos!
You rocked all of them man freaking crazyyy
An Intro to Remember 💯🔥🤘🏻
:D
Good pun huh case a day to remember made most of their home sick album sound like that
Make Me Cri: After The Burial - Laurentian Ghosts
Especially after you read the story behind the song
These are some good licks. Will use. Thank You, Nik.
Unreal job on the guitar tones!
0:32 For AC/DC it's more like _"Oi, oi."_
Then again, they're not a metal band.
Oi pra quem?
Louco...
0:49 Breaking Benjamin in a nutshell
Maka me cry sounds like Heaven shall burn. good job matey
Those are some killer riffs my friend..as a guitarist myself I gotta say you are awesome!
You definitely must do the long and complete version of "Maka me cri :'("
“Hey hey” reminded me of Miss May I
So accurate in every video. Great content!
the best nik's videos opening scene
I need a full maka me cri ;( song
And would absolutely love a dude what was in that brownie song.
Why are you so fricking good.
An intro to remember had me dead af
Recently found your channel and I’m addicted. All the riffs are so catchy. Makes me wish I played! 🤘
I think all of those riffs are so good.
I was balls deep in anime and stopped watching just for this
You're a legend.

Nice video Nik, would be awesome if u cover some ''classic'' songs of metalcore, post-hardcore and stuff like that, anyways, cheers from Argentina
Thanks! :)
Dude, these are some killer tunes!
This was so sick good job 😊🤘
intro to remember could be Future Breed Machine
Chef Riff McNasty serving up some tasty bois.
Can you chug a water bottle as fast as you can for an intro sometime?
That is an awesome idea
Nice chugs-
I just subscribed!!!! Every video i have seen is outrageously good!!
With this video, you have earned my subscription!
You're being ironic in all those videos but they always make me wanna take my guitar and play cuz it sounds amazing!
Thanks! It is for sure meant to be somewhat ironic but I actually use a lot of these myself. It's not bad to use something that is "overused" as long as you innovate on it :)
Can't tell if he's wearing eyeliner or if he's just never sleeps.
Thoroughly enjoyed this
all of these, all of them...are wonderful
"Hey, Hey!" is Bullet for My Valentine lol
John Which song?
John nope, hey hey is a jab at miss may i, look up hey mister, it's extremely close
Ricky Adams It really sounds like Hail to the King by A7X lmfao
It's essentially every metalcore band.
I still poop the bed.
Oh no.
Typical
Every single one of these examples is fire.
Dude every single one was straight fire.
1:44 Breaking Benjamin feel
I Will Not Bow lol
^^^^
Hilarious! I've gotta say, I hear that lo-fi one everywhere. As a bit of production advice, I feel like you may benefit from lifting your mids just a bit in the mix. Other than that, perfect vid!!
The " Just make the computer do it" sounds like a Disturbed riff.
These are fantastic
