And yes, absolutely, please give us more expansion and refining of your existing ideas! I’ve really been wanting to grow more as a composer in the sense of taking existing ideas and refining them together, so watching you walk through that process would absolutely be a huge benefit!

I absolutely love that we are getting to see more of your routing process, especially with the way that you’re splitting the bass send. I’ve actually been doing a lot of this as well, having the instrument, be a no output, and then navigating it with automation in the sense. I know it’s a nerdy little detail, but it was really encouraging to see something. I’ve been been doing organically be some thing that also made sense to you in this process. Keep up the great work dude!
Honestly out of everything I watch on UA-cam this has to be the absolute best channel and series. Thicccc riff Thursdays make my Thursdays that much better.
I think keeping a good mix depending on how you feel. I do worry a similar way when writing where I'll start a bunch of things and then when I have ideas to back and expand on something from before
Man I’m so glad I discovered your channel, I was in a rut with my guitar playing (even though I’ve only been at it for 3 years so far) and every Thursday I’m just as excited to play as I was when I first started
I think seeing you flush out some ideas or even combining some riffs to make full songs would be nice. Not only would it be cool to see these ideas made into full tracks, but I would love to see your process on how you finalize a track. Love your work and have been learning from these vids.
Nick is a shining example of what every home musician/producer strives to be. Would love to sneak a peek at your process of mixing guitars. Maybe even a riff tutorial on some of your most popular TRT’s! Phenomenal vid as always.
Yes, I would love a breakdown of your guitar editing process, please! Also, if it has not already been addressed, I would love to see how you do multiple takes in one pass to comp your tracks. Thanks for your killer content. You're helping me and my band tremendously! 🤘❤️🤘
Also, this is the 1st video that randomly came into my YT feed! I'm so glad I subbed. You're an inspiration and an amazing musician, please more of everything! 🤘❤️🤘
I feel like I learned more from this video than any other video of yours. Your videos are not always directed at being informative but are on that line of educational/entertaining. But I learn so much watching it is both. If you did a video that was aimed directly at being informative I’d grab a pen and paper and start taking notes. Let the knowledge drop and I’m there! Inspiring, educational, entertaining, chuggy chuggy riff riff videos. WHODEY!
I would love a video on how you both edit and comp guitars. Also, I use Tosin Abasi neural dip and would like some 8 string tone tips. Thanks for the content.
please go back and finish some of the old riffs. also, this is an absolutely sick riff, kinda reminds me oarcane roots' breakdowns which are very catch 33 meshuggah inspired themselves
Hi nick - cool videos and tunes , weird about the plugin opening up , I have the most recent version of logic and don’t have that problem, are you using option to copy the plugins over ?
That electronic drum kit you have.. do you like it? Do you have any complaints about it? Im looking into getting one. Does it real velocity hits well? I'd obviously be using GGD through it.
Please please please do the guitar editing tutorial. It seems so difficult to do in logic. I'd also love to see how you mix the PV kit because I can't get my toms to sound how I want.
I'd love a tutorial on how to bus drums so I can give them different EQ's on the kick and snare etc, without running multiple instances of my drum plugin.
How do you manage to put out content so consistently? I've been trying to start a music channel (not this one) for over a year now and every time I sit down and try to film a video I end up hating everything I write, crying because I feel like an impostor and deleting the footage 😭
Babe wake up TRT dropped
😴
Thick Riff Thursday is the best day!
And yes, absolutely, please give us more expansion and refining of your existing ideas! I’ve really been wanting to grow more as a composer in the sense of taking existing ideas and refining them together, so watching you walk through that process would absolutely be a huge benefit!

Could you do a tutorial on your whole mixing console? Like how you bus each instrument out, etc.
Guitar edit tutorial would be incredible!

Nice! You can put the midi on the track stack and it’ll just send to the tracks in the stack.
I would love a video on how you both edit and comp guitars. Also, I use Tosin Abasi neural dip and would like some 8 string tone tips. Thanks for the content.
I would love the clean song you wrote awhile back. Haha
