I actually made a full review/overview of his guitar (I own one). It’s a proper ESP too. You should check it out. The channel it’s posted on is SuperJoshio :)
I love that when Reba is like “yeah I can show you,” the riff literally sounds like her smashing a fully amped guitar into the ground. Code is so brutal
Such a wide range of styles for “metalcore” but man Josh is just on another level. Sounds so much tighter and cleaner and better tones etc than everyone else. Jesse also right up there!
I grew up in hs learning BFMV riffs and god i just love them. Their like a guilty pleasure for me to play. Just hearing paget rip em off is so nostalgic.
I swear, Jesse does not get enough credit for his riff writing and playing ability. He/Erra have consistently put out beautiful, complex and melodic riffs for yearrrss at this point.
the Erra riffs are the best imo, I immediately stopped what I was doing and was like wait wtf?!?!?!? If you go to my page you'll see I've been playing guitar for a long time and those really got my attention!!!!!! I gotta learn them!!!
@@no_one563 that's exactly what I'm looking for 😍😍😍😍 I want to up my riffing game. I looooved the first erra riff bc you can tell it's built around a chord progression and to me, those are the riffs that tell stories. They convey an emotion really clearly.
@@slamdangles I actually think you are going to like erra's most recent songs then, its very more chord progression focused compared to their older stuff which is very riffy and technical.
@@slamdangles I'll recommend Continuum. Drift as an album slaps so hard though. Especially the extended phrasing part in Hourglass. That album is literal crack to me, and I dunno if I even consider it their best.
The riff in the chorus of YOU ARE ALL YOU NEED is just a thing of beauty. Many people probably didn't really noticed it because it's a bit hidden behind the vocals.
I met Jesse at a small show (~150 people) with Scale The Summit, Reflections, Glass Cloud and Monuments in like 2015, super nice dude. Kills it live, I can’t even play their music in my bedroom lol.
I mean, when you create a new songs, chances are, you may like your new songs more then the ones you played before, as it stands for your current music taste. Though its prolly a mix of these, and a shill

Yeah they just compiled a bunch of videos into one. Josh isn’t in Architects anymore either and Issac is talking about an old album. Also I seen Jesse’s video months ago
Two things about that first AA riff: 1. I cringed at ‘Off the new record’ line. Maybe it’s unintentional, but it comes across like something a douchbag would do to plug the record and satisfy the label. It may be ‘on message’ but Wayne & Garth would rightly crucify him for picking that. 2. It’s basically a thinly-veiled rehash of Afraid To Shoot Strangers by Iron Maiden. Sorry (not sorry).
Michael Paget is sooooo underrated! This man has written some of the sickest metalcore riffs. And that Esp custom shop he plays is a beautie 🤘
Yeah man he is fucking underatted !! Loved this guy

The best and most influential guitarrist of the whole video ⚡️
Just facts
i saw them live at Swansea Arena near their hometown, which is bridgend. they all are super social and interactive with the fans
"Oh cool, free riff!"
Lee Malia back to the roots 🤘
Jesse/ERRA and Sean/WSS are two of my absolute favourites! ❤
Jesse from ERRA is a musical genius
Bruh Jesse has to sing the chorus on “House Of Glass” while playing that monster of a riff. This dude must be some sort of genius.
Muscle Memory ;)
He is just not human xDD

Jesse never ceases to amaze me with the ease that he plays. 15/10

Her Voice Resides
