I have a theory Atreus goes to greece to learn more of his fathers past and sees all gods of olympian pantheon are alive and well ,they have rebuilded greece after the mess kratos left behind , they are more loved and revered now because they saved everyone (all people left after disasters) from all that evil ,suffering ect. the gods became stronger ,smarter, wiser and more powerfull overall too as a result . atreus learns his fathers actions not only made people better of even gods better are better of now. Carnage kratos unleashed is a cautionary tale about how power corupts mortals and NO MORTAL İS WORTY OF POWERS OF A GOD SO MORTALS SHOULD STAY MORTAL!
I’ve got a better reason for Kratos not dying that you didn’t mention. In every depiction of Kratos on the murals, he’s shown the same, red tattoo showing and wearing a red skirt. Yet in the one with Atreus holding what many think is Kratos, that person is wearing a different colour skirt, and also isn’t showing the tattoo. Atreus still looks the same as all his other depictions on the murals. So I believe that that person Boi is holding is either Tyr, or Mimir in his new body Brok and Sindri likely made for him as they did get his measurements.
My theory is that kratos never died, he was just made unconscious, and then as gods knew he was immortal, they took him to a place of torture, To occur exactly what happened with Prometheus, but in a more remote and difficult place to escape, since they know the tremendous power of kratos
That was a really nice video bro, love the memes spread around the video :D it was also really interesting when looking at his deaths in hindsight, i'm starting to get convinced that he never actually died in greece
I always thought that Kratos became truly immortal to mortal wounds after he fell into the river styx at the beginning of GoW3 making him similar to Achilles. Which is why Kratos and Balder would heal similarly in their first fight in GOW(2018). Both men are cursed.
Great video!! but I have a question would kratos actually go to helheim/Valhalla or not since he's not Norse and not from that realm so he could possibly just go back to hades if he dies cuz he's Greek
He is Greek, but because he is physically in the Norse realm, Norse dying rules apply. It would work the same the other way around - if Atreus died in Greece, for example, he would go to the Underworld of the realm he's currently in, which is Hades.
I loved your content since I watched your video video that Kuba reacted to, your awesome and have an interesting way of making theories. This video actually made me think about something, how is it Kratos manages to escape death so many times, whereas the Gods don't, would it be interesting if they could somehow come back someway? Because remember, not even Thanatos who's the god of death escaped death after facing Kratos. Can't wait to know what you think. One last thing to say, keep doing the creative work bud.
Thank you for the kind words! I think it's simple - Kratos had help getting out of Hell, but the Gods didn't. Gravedigger (Zeus) and Gaia pulled Kratos out, but when the Gods themselves died, no one was there to help them, so they stayed dead. It is also likely full Gods have a separate place they go to in the afterlife, which makes it even harder to come back. Hope this makes sense.
so basically Ragnarök culminates in a final battle between the gods and the demons and giants, ending in the death of the gods. In some versions, the earth will then sink and rise again with two human survivors maybe in god odf war ragnarok the survivers can be kratos and atreus or in end kratos dies , but maybe in the end kratos will rise up { faking his death } * just my opinion*
Amazing video man i always wanted to do these types of videos but im always afriad of people judging me and your editing was amazing thanks bro for these videos

Hmmm, I mean I don't mind taking control of Atreas but I haven't felt much of his pain to let go of Kratos and start using Atreas, as a player we went through Kratos' problems together and have come to except and admire him so then again a death would be significant and probably cause some tears from the fanbase but I personally still want to use the Ghost Of Sparta, The Destroyer of Worlds, The Demi God, The Monster, The God...Of...War... Kratos!
you deserve it bro & the videos are really good that some if something is stupid you make it having a sense & kratos cant die because he becomes a proper virgin after his addiction in greek games so my rules says when he becomes virgin meaning he become immortal
The reason why he didn't even had to sail through the process of dying when he stabbed himself it's cuz he's cursed with being not able to commit suicide
I think the best case scenario for his fate is to die at the end of Ragnarok is to make his death not permanent for the long run, so my theory is: Kratos dies at the end of Ragnarok which leaves Atreus and angraboda and sets the horizon for their story, but Kratos death is only a cliffhanger for what comes next for his story, i think their will be time where Atreus will want to find answers for his fathers death, maybe his father dies but atreus will try to save him. The idea is, Kratos is shown to be dead but they forshadow his return in the plot and story of atreus and angraboda(or not), So atreus will want to find his father, or save him or he returns. So His death will only be there to promote the future of the franchise and Atreus story and maybe make it play the big role in atreus arc, So i would assume he dies just to promote The plot of Atreus story but he comes back to finish that plot point.
Honestly, these were pretty much my thoughts for the longest time. I'm just worried that if they DO kill him, Kratos coming back again would feel cheap. But yeah, that's very likely
@@MidChronicler Yeah they can always make it a Gow 3 kill, but I think what god of war does best is selling the plot so even if it will sound cheap, I think the way he will come back in the future would be a huge and a satisfying moment as a plot point
He could die, but there Atreus could travel to Egypt and get the ankh to actually resurrect him. The save that as a surprise for Atreus game and we will get Kratos back.
There is something wrong with Kratos's chain unless that are detachable to the blades because whenever he puts his blades on his back we cannot see any chains hanging from his back to his hands and how does his blades stick to his back? I asked this because I liked your video on Kratos's nipple hope you make a video on my question also.
That's an interesting question, but I believe it's just technical or graphic design that wasn't easy to put, because from the cutscenes that i remember we see the chains wrapped on his arms and the blades on his back. I've never thought about this before lol.
Good question! Because the Blades are Godly weapons (likely made by Hephaestus), they possess magical properties. My theory is they're basically weightless to Kratos. That's why he can throw them so easily and accurately and levitate them on his back. The Chains could also disappear when Kratos isn't fighting for comfort purposes, it'd be very annoying to try and climb things etc. with chains dangling off you all the time.
@@MidChronicler thanks a lot I have been asking this question for 1 year and someone told me that it was just a mistake and he was one of the gamers who had a lot of experience. Finally I got a proper theory.
I like to think of it as how Kratos is feeling. If Kratos WANTS to die, he cannot die, just like how he wasn’t allowed to die by his own hand. If Kratos DOESNT want to die, he can die. In the new game, he lives for Atreus and he wants to protect Atreus, causing his death possible.
But if when every one dies in greek the arms of hades take them to the Underworld then why are we still find dead bodies in god of war games , for example Pandora's Temple is full with dead bodies then why the arms of hades didn't toke them , i think only Kratos have been taken by the arms of Hades because he challenged the gods so his torment will be a special one , & in GOD OF WAR 1 when kratos ask Zeus about the grave he was digging and who will be in it , Zeus telled him this :"( you will my son )" , and also this : " ( don't wont you die before i am done with this grave )" which mean that the arms of hades didn't take Kratos's body to the Underworld because Zeus had somthing to do with his body and that grave in order to help him come back to life , so tell me what you think
Yeah, the amount of bodies everywhere was a concern for me, it doesn't line up. The bodies in Pandora's Temple are being used to make undead soldiers to protect it, which is why the Keeper burns them. As for the grave, Gravedigger needed enough time because he was digging down all the way to the Underworld, Kratos' body couldn't go there because it's just a hole. So his body must have went to Hades with his soul, which is why I'm assuming the Arms took him.
I think that kratos didn't die on all the occasions, the first is against the charon in chains of Olympus, where I think, that he was just defeated and he was unconscious, and then he was placed To be tortured since they knew he was immortal In God of war 2, Zeus sets up a plan with Hades and Athena, the plan is to remove the strength of kratos and his powers, and then defeat him, leaving him unconscious and then... I thought that the blades of chaos cursed Kratos to be immortal & to kill Kratos you need to break the blades of chaos, in the comics we can see that Kratos want to get rid of the blades, so he could die, but he failed because the blades always come back to him.
I'm sure the curse of immortality and the curse of the Blades returning are connected, but I doubt they're INTERconnected. Most likely related to Athena somehow, but we simply don't have enough information to know.
Would Kratos possibly be judged as a Greek in Helheim? A bit of a long shot but Zeus seems to be somewhat existent in Helheim, what if that's because he isn't condemned to the Norse laws of the afterlife?
No, Mimir clearly states Zeus is no more than a vision. I don't think it matters that Kratos is Greek, he'd be judged all the same. There may be different rules to judge a GOD, however, but we don't know what that looks like.
Ok so your saying kratos is really popular so santa monica studios and sny can’t kill him so then why did they kill joel from last of us HUH ANSWER ANSWER ME HE WAS ALSO POPULAR WASNT HE HUH TELL MEH TELL MEHH

Imagine if Kratos died and found himself in the room he fought Hades in 🤔
1:30 accurate greek
It translates to : destroyer of Olympus
Please do what if deimos survived
I think that kratos didn't die on all the occasions, the first is against the charon in chains of Olympus, where I think, that he was just defeated and he was unconscious, and then he was placed To be tortured since they knew he was immortal
In God of war 2, Zeus sets up a plan with Hades and Athena, the plan is to remove the strength of kratos and his powers, and then defeat him, leaving him unconscious and then... Hades summons the hands of death... The hands of death take him and will torture him forever, and Zeus knew that eventually kratos would regenerate, (the ability he demonstrated in gow 2018) so he set up every plan to torture him Making the hands of death take him before he regains consciousness (almost the same plan as charon)
The third time he didn't die was in gow 3 when Zeus broke his neck, following the same theory, kratos cannot die, he can only be knocked unconscious
As with Baldur when Kratos snapped his neck, he was rendered unconscious, even though he felt nothing and was immortal.
Kratos can die if Mario or Sonic can die
Everybody saw what happened when they killed Joel, so I dont think Kratos is likely to die.
