Japanese Landings at Kota Bharu, 8 December 1941: Storm of Steel Military History

On the 8th of December 1941, almost an hour before Japanese aircraft attacked Pearl Harbor, Japanese soldiers began landing on the Malayan beach at Kota Bharu. It was defended by Indian troops and was the first Japanese strike against the Allies in World War Two.
