I am from Papua New Guinea at the northern tip of Australia, guys, I love the way you handle all kinds of motor vehicles, makes, and models. I have watched many of your videos and today after watching you guys do a Ford Bronco and a Ford F100, I decided to subscribe to your channel. You guys are amazing. Keep going and I know for sure you guys love the work that you do so much. Sometimes, you just bring back old memories for some of the car owners which often result in one or two sharing a few tears after getting so emotional seeing the amazing restoration done to their vehicles. God bless your hearts. I am with you and keep those wonderful videos coming cause we love it.
Classic trucks like this will always be timeless. There will never be a time when old trucks lose their cool factor. This color combination is perfection.
@@caleb_güeroTHIS truck special order no way was this ordered on dealer lot in 66 when trucks were plain Jane....this is a. Custom cab unc ordered 2. F700. In 1961. And 1969. And both were spec order by dealer
Hey guys! Hello from Ramstein Air Base, Germany! What a great find! Everything you need in a truck, nothing you don’t…and style to spare! Makes me sad for what constitutes a “truck” today! And hope you can go through more of this collection! Intrigued with the “quirk”factor!
Please make your way through that collection...I'd love to see what's in there. Also, I love the color scheme of this Ford truck, wheels & all. Great work, guys!
Never ever touch or hold the rope of a winch in operation with the load on it! There is always an enormous tension on the rope. If the rope snaps for what reason ever, it may strike back resulting in severe injuries! Always keep a safe distance! You became my absolutely number one detailing channel and I want to see a lot more shows! The way you narrate it is filled with so much empathies and enthusiasm, it can't be beaten! Btw, the red rims are looking fantastic and yes, get more cars to detail from this warehouse!
This is not something I say very often but that truck is awesome. The color scheme is so good and it seems to be in great shape. With the minimal amount of work it needs I think it will find a new home really quickly. I look forward to seeing you work your way through the collection… I think I spotted an old VW Vanagon back there… it looks like a great mix of automotive fandom, chef’s kiss perfection of a video!
The verdigri blue green became popular and synominous with the City Beautiful movement. This coincided with the Seattle 1962 World's Fair and Seattle's weeklong Seafair Festivities that were set off with The Torchlight Parade then culminating with the Blue Angels Airshow and Hydroplane Races. The aquamarine was on the window sashes and doors of white painted homes everywhere to welcome visitors to the Emerald City. Beautiful 66 Ford looks so good now!
My dad was selling Fords 1957-1968 and boy does this bring back memories. Twin I Beam was a big selling point for these trucks, and dad sold a boatload of them. As for the red wheels, they go with the color scheme on the wheel covers. Personally, I like the stand out color.
Hey guys! Love watching your channel every week and I absolutely love this truck! Wouldn't change a thing color wise. It's so nostalgic and makes me yearn for the good old days. Beautiful job as usual.
OMGosh wow! I love this beauty! Great connection! Yes: PLEASE detail ALL the cars in this warehouse! Thanks to the people that entrust you with their vehicles, so that we all get to enjoy the vicarious experience! My littles love this clean, fascinating, and funny show!
A great, honest old Ford pickup in wonderful condition! And I think the red wheels/white hub caps and whitewalls look great on it. You guys did a great job on it, as always.
Def a fan of the red wheels! With the wide whites and those caps... perfect in my eyes! My dad had a red and white 62 unibody short bed back in the day so I adore that body style! Love the channel, fellas!✌️
Yes, detail them ALL!!!!!!! I'm a fan of this trucks classic color scheme. Nice to see one in such great shape and I could see that it would clean up very well. This truck and the music make all my cattles very happy.
Both my parents were born on Idaho Farms. Dad(1924), Mom(1925). Most of my Aunts and Uncles were farmers. This Ford truck is iconic. The wheels must stay. They make everything pop! I would buy this a second.
That would be so awesome for you to work your way through the collection and see all the cool vehicles. Love the truck, the cool is gorgeous. Great job.
My dad also had the exact same. I honestly can´t remember the interior color, but it wasn´t red. It was then handed down to my oldest brother and then to me at 15yo. It was so easy to work on that it was driven well into the late 80`s when we started losing the battle with undercarriage rust due to living on the Texas Gulf Coast.
@WDDetailing, down here around St.clair Missouri there a bunch of old cars you should look into it. I don’t have very much specifics but, I’m going to look into a few if you’d like to take them on please lmk
The Twin I Beam was a major selling point for Ford trucks for many years, as it gave a very smooth ride in lots of adverse conditions. The V-8 was a great feature also as this was not too far removed from the 6 cylinder as standard on many of the entry level pick-ups. Great find and good job !
Hey team, I am absolutely thrilled with how the truck turned out. It’s amazing what you’re doing with these lost time capsules. Your talent is truly impressive. I have a suggestion regarding the music in your videos. I think this particular type of music would enhance the overall experience. It sounds really good and could make the videos even better. Keep up the fantastic work! -Jim
Excellent work guys as always!! I love those wheels I think they go really well with the paint job. I wish car manufacturers would go with the two color scheme still.
1965 Ford F100 352 V8 3 on the tree was what I drove back when I was 16 I'm now 64 I've pulled trailers, hauled garden tractors for my Uncle who owned it. I loved driving that truck, dual exhaust glass packs. My Uncle was a shade tree fixit man for friends and family me being 16 and love to drive was a perfect match
I would LOVE to buy this truck!! So retro and that paint would bring you back to the 50-60s era! Lost my '21 F150 due to brake failure and Ford did not have a care in the world when they heard no injuries occured... you guys are 100% right! They don't make them like they used to! You guys did an amazing job and I love the Puro, made the carpet work on my Mustang look phenominal! Thanks again guys @WD! 🤝
Love this truck! You guys did a fantastic job on this truck, and it definitely gained a lot of value after your great detail. I've been a subscriber almost from your beginning, and I am impressed by you have stepped up your game-- both in detailing and in making your videos. Thanks for posting!
I write from Chile. This model and brand of truck has been my great unfulfilled dream of a lifetime. It was all because when I was a little boy, at the beginning of the 1960s, a Professor was able to buy a completely new one, light blue and white, and he invited me to accompany him todo some business and I got in his truck. I was amazed by the colors of that vehicle and by the new forgotten that impression. It had a very special smell inside, like new leather, new paint, and its colors that looked very pretty, something unique. And since those years I have never forgotten her. They were a very nice model and very pleasant to ride.....Many greetings 👋👋👋👋👍👍👍👍
Yes please make your way through the collection. I spotted some cars that would look amazing all cleaned up. Lets see what yall find in there! The truck looks straight out of a hot wheels packaging, love it, great work guys.
I love the old wooden beds. You could replace broken ones as needed. My grandfather had one - all turquoise though. Also had chains to hold the tailgate up.
just like mike said, this truck screams out america and farm all together, and that color scheme is so cool i wish they would use it on modern trucks as well. i honestly would love to drive that and yeah do that little thing, i wanna see how it will turn out and run.
The carb is a Holley 2 barrel, used on millions of Fords for 20 years. Cost $200.00 to overhaul at a carb shop and keeps the vehicle original. Of course the owner would have to take it off and reinstall it. Never try to start a car with 15 year old fuel. Instead, remove the fuel line and attach one leading to a can of fresh gas. Eventually drain and clean or replace the tank and blow out or replace the fuel lines. WD should check out the utubers in your area who specialize in starting abandoned vehicles. U could find a great partner!
I lived in Texas in the 70s, 80s and 90s. All I ever drove was these old Fords. They were all over the place back then. Most of them were early and late 60s.They are fun to drive and dependable.
The sales brochure shows a 352 high performance V8 as the only option as far as 8’s. The base engine is the 240 cid “big six” with the 300 cid six as an option. The V8 is called an FE engine which stands for Ford Edsel.
Ford back in the 60's put 2-barrels on 390 engines routinely. When I was a young teen, my Dad bought a new 66 Ford Custom 500, 352 with 4-barrel, and then bought a 69 Galaxy 500 with a 390 and 2-barrel.
My dad had a 1965 baby blue F-150 it was three speed on the column and I loved to drive that truck. Seeing this brought back great memories. The guys all laughed at a girl driving a truck.
Yes the red goes to that truck. It is red, white and blue made in America!!! Actually, I love seeing old vehicles running and on the road today, they don't make them like they used to at all. I hit all the cars shows here where I live and just love it. Have a great day
I love this truck!! 🛻 The first truck I owned was a ‘79 Ford Hi-Boy😃I would have definitely matched the truck with the rims & hubcaps honestly but I love red🔴So I would probably say that about every vehicle you guys do lol 😆♥️💯🇺🇸

Another great video. You guys do great work and make these videos fun to watch. Looking forward to next Saturday!
Awesome. One of my favourite ford truck of all time. Great colour.
There are some old Ford commercials that advertise the twin I-beam as a marketing piece.
The color scheme for a great for the era. The red wheels offer a great contrast to the teal/white. As far as the FORD V8 logo, it was used for the Disney Cars Trilogy.
I bet you were surprised to see the gas tank behind the seat and the headlight dimmer switch on the floor.
The air filter cover was not factory and probably came in a kit along with the chrome valve covers. That V8, depending on where it was built, could be a 335, 352, 360 or a 390 with a Windsor Carburetor. If it was a 390, it should have a 4bbl carb and not the 2 bbl. The intake manifold appears to be cast iron and not aluminum, so it’s a smaller displacement 352 unless the previous owners made some changes.
That also looks like a 4 speed “Cruiseomatic” transmission. Taken an old farm truck and dressed it up.
Good job guys! Let us see more from that eclectic collection.

I would love to see you guys clean all those cars. 😊
As rodas vermelhas e brancas faz subressair o azul e o branco da carroçaria !! Já nessa altura sabiam trabalhar com o contraste 👌👌
Wow, I would not be hanging on to that cable like that, it's like a rubber band if it snaps 🤔
A good practice when putting that much force on a cable is to throw beach towels, one on each section so if the cable snaps it keeps it from becoming a whip, that’ll cut you horribly. Old four-wheel-drive recovery trick.
Absolutely beautiful! great job!
Absolutely luv the wheel color combo ❤❤
