What an INSANE detail and transformation!! Like and Share this video and make someone else's jaw drop today!
Have a great weekend everyone!
Umm, yeah. Nice weekend to stay warm inside. Too darn cold to go outside!
@@citibear57-51°C with the windchill where I am right now. 🥶
@@lealjade You've got me beat! It's only -30°C with a windchill of -44 🥶 I live in the same city as Mr Detail Geek. Stay warm!!
Is there anything special you spray the inside to get rid of the mouse urine smell ? Years ago my dad had a 67 Ford Mustang that was sitting in his backyard. When we were going to restore it, it was full of mouse droppings and reeked of urine!!!!!! YUCK
damn, ive always wanted to see you do a classic bronco.
"The Bronco has been parked in a bush for two decades."
Me thinking it was parked there in the 80s, not the 2000s. 🤯😭
Hahahaha right?!
Guess you're in your 30s too, same here
Oh man I wish the owner of this Bronco is able to document the process of restoring this beauty. Well wishes to the guy. I would love to see this fully restored one day. I’m invested!
Same here
Considering the Bronco's age and how long it was sitting, it's in incredibly good shape. The fact that the engine isn't missing all of it's paint is amazing. Between my dad, my grandpa, and my uncles, I spent my entire childhood riding around in those old dent side Fords, so this Chevy boy loves them.
My grandad had an old truck he called sarge. He and my grandma currently have a 1966 dodge charger sitting in their garage right now. They restored that car together along with some help from friends and family. They made an entire video about it. I was very young when they did it.
Deffently some quality paint on this bronco. The rust parts and larger scratches aside, that paint was still amazing shape once cleaned up. I don't think the paint on many newer vehicles would hold as long.
so much work for such a crap car ... rust all over the car ... i bet technical also all is broken... clean car for shredder. lol
@@sirmiki75 crap car? You take that back!
@@sirmiki75bathe in a shower of rust
Who loves the detail geek!❤
I do 😂
Meeeeee! I love him too😂❤
Everyone loves him as I do always. 😊
Mitch is the master. He’s really inspired me to detail my own car when I’m off in the winter.
Even his brother Mike is awesome
Who doesn't ❤❤❤
I can't believe that it only took you 12 hours to transform this Bronco! It seriously looked like it could have been an extra in the filming of The Last of Us. I knew going into the video that it was to be a real treat, and you did not disappoint! Excellent work, Mitch! I hope that we can get updates on the restoration progress of this vehicle too.
I love that you always give the cars the same treatment, whether it's an expensive new car or an old rusty Bronco. Even the Ford emblem where the D was falling off got the same treatment, that is pure passion
@@RepentandbelieveinJesusChrist- nobody is seeking to be forcefully christianized without being asked, keep your religion to yourself and only spread it to others with your religion
Love that copper color. I hope the owner decides to keep it.
Edit: Just heard the part about the owner wanting to change the color... my heart breaks lol. Regardless of the color, she'll look beautiful once fully restored.
I agree, change the color, lower the value.
@@timothyokane9710What Value? There won't be ANYTHING original on that car if they do a full restoration.
heh, by Minnesota standards that's barely rusty at all. And Bronco prices are nuts.@@dandiehm8414
I agree that he should leave it the original copper color.
Copper and white exterior with a brown and tan interior. Classic!
As an owner of a 70's F-series myself, I can truly appreciate people who try to preserve or restore these old rigs. It's my favorite generation and these one-year Broncos have a special place in my heart. So, kudos to the new owner for resurrecting the old girl and God bless you for helping him get a massive jump on his project. Another job well done!
Insane work, Mitch! I hope the new owner does a great restoration job on this car.
Thank you!
I wish the owner had a restoration channel. I would love to follow this Bronco.
I hope we get updates on the restorations that you've cleaned as they get done. Looks amazing considering!
I’m so glad there’s an entire community of folks who enjoy detailing vids. People in my life think I’m nuts because I like to detail for fun. It’s just so satisfying… cheers Mitch 🥂another great job!
I hope you can keep in touch with the owners of these (to be) restored vehicles so you can show us how they turn out!
This has to be a sign! I've been looking at a 96 Bronco for three days now. I think this is the message telling me to get it! 🤔
My grandpa just passed and had a truck like this. It's a 1975 K-10. I intend to fully restore it, so this video is insanely helpful 🙏 it's got moss, ant piles, and some areas are rusted through. I know it'll be hard work, but I cannot wait.
This will be his greatest detail yet i'm calling it right now
I cannot wait to see this old classic get cleaned up. This will be epic
For its age and the poor condition it was brought in, it looks good. Another great video.
I was amazed with how the hood turned out. I was expecting a bunch of rust underneath all that goop on there.
I'm also wondering if we'll ever see the results of any of these restorations. Too many times people have great intentions when they tackle a project such as these abandoned cars you have been detailing recently, but once they get into the process, they realize what a monumental task it is and abandon it once again.
Not going to lie...that's what I see happening with this one. Getting it running again is one thing, but to get it fixed enough to get safetied so it can even drive is another. Then actually getting it restored. It's a monumental amount of work for one person.....but I hope I'm wrong because it would really be a sweet ride all fixed up!
@@TheDetailGeek Other than some sort of sentimental value and bottomless pockets, I can't see this Bronco being worth a restoration financially. Still you give it your best and that's admirable!
Another Friday with coffee and The Detail Geek and an awesome transformation
The fact that it's been sitting outside for so long uncovered, it's in amazing shape. I've looked at several online that are of the same generation that are still on the road that aren't in this good of shape, they have lots of rust and the interiors are trashed. It's going to be amazing when he's done.
Some iron remover would have been great
I don't usually comment on videos but I have to say this one is my all time favorite. I have been in love with the big body Broncos since I was a young girl and seeing the care you took to get this one presentable was heartwarming. Thank you for sharing your passion.
This was a lot of fun. 12 hours of work and a lot of entertainment and education for us. Thanks for doing the premiere with us. It's always nice to have you chat with us. This was a great transformation. I am sorry about the owners finger. I hope he get's well and is able to finish the restoration. Have a great weekend Mitch and the DG family. Peace out! #MikeIsStillMyFave. #MikeEatsBread.
Thanks Joel, the premieres are always a lot of fun! Would love to see this Bronco when it's finished and back on the road....gonna be a sweet ride! Have a great weekend!!
Joel, Everyone and you are exhilarated to have fun chatting with Mitch. Mitch is the skillful talent of the letter. I love it. 😊Stay warm and cozy. Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy the day, my friend. Take care
@@cynthiahopkins7090 Thanks Cynthia. We are currently getting pounded with snow here. But we will clean it up. Vegas sounds pretty good right now. Have a great weekend my friend!
I can't wait for the transformation to begin!
A 1979 bronco has been my dream car for a while, awesome video
Yep. '78 was the first year for the full size Bronco. I bought a Custom, like that one, brand new off the dealer lot. Loved that vehicle. Brings back memories.
The before and after on this one should be awesome. Can't wait.
YET AGAIN... ANOTHER car that Mr. Geek himself planted 20 years ago for a perfect thumbnail and title combo... Well played sir.
You will make it Better than anyone else could
This is going to be insane
I can’t wait to see this…it will definitely be an amazing transformation just like the mustang a few weeks ago
Well done. Great survivor vehicle. I would love to see the final result after the new owners restores it. 😎🔨👊🏻
Beautiful truck
Je suis un grand amoureux des voitures américaines, surtout les vieilles comme celles-ci ❤️❤️❤️
Love watching you bring these old beauty's back to life! great video Mitch as always bud!
I can’t wait for this this video is going to be so fun.
I love broncos wish I can have one. That dash board was cool. I like different dash boards of different vehicles.
I'd like to see what Chip Foose could do with this one!
The Fooster! He's the best!
What A HUGE transformation!!!!!!!! Great job!!!!!!
Thanks so much!!
Something I'm looking forward to today.. Not just another awesome transformation from the Detail Geek. But today is my brother and I's birthday we're twins. We're gonna be 30 😂. Looking forward to it.
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday guys! May all your automotive dreams come true!🎉
@@TheDetailGeek Thank You All
Wow! What a transformation! Hope to see it when the restoration is complete. The owner does indeed have a ton of work ahead of him! It will be a huge undertaking!
Your attention to detail shows your talent.
This REALLY turned out great….!
Thank you!
Can't wait to see this one. I love seeing old vehicles getting a nice deep clean
Happy Friday Glad you got this 2nd gen Full-size Ford Bronco washed cleaned and detailed
This Bronco would be gorgeous in the dark green color the owner has in mind. And, green will honor the lichens and moss that have gone before it!. I had forgotton what real chrome looks like on a vehicle. Very cool! I love watching these videos. Detail Geek is king!
This transformation is huge. I cant believe my eyes 🫢
I think this is the most crazy detail I've seen on your channel honestly. A 1978 Ford Bronco was absolutely a bomb in my early teenage years. My street neighbour had it and I used to admire the truck so much back then in the late 70's honestly today I still do, this is actually the first Ford truck that got my attention. How I wish Ford still build this type of quality and elegant vehicle today! It's been over 40 years the design still stands ❤❤❤❤🎉
It’s finally Friday❤ Hey Mitch, thanks for keeping us entertained every Friday have an awesome weekend and don’t forget the weenie roast.😂
Glad you enjoyed the video!

Love the full size bronco s had many of them ,a 79,83,85,87,and a 91 wish they would make them again
You've done a lot of these pre-restoration clean ups, would love to see the restored vehicles. Maybe some of the people you have done this for would let you show off what became of them. I feel like this one you should have been in a full hazmat suit! LOL Like how much work did you have to do to clean up your shop after working on that mess? 😆
Haha me too! This one wasn't bad for studio clean up....the Mustang on the other hand.....
Holy cow dude!! If I wasn't subscribed yet and then came along and saw this video I would definitely be hitting subscribed lol... what a fantastic transformation... and I big good job!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Very good ❤
hoping you can give us updates about all those old cars' restorations !

Anyone know how much he charges for this kind of job? Just curious
He *nvr tells what he actually chg's per detail.
Some detail's r Freebie Friday's.😂
That will definitely be the best video ever
It’s its own ecosystem. You did an amazing job, Mitch.
Who else thought OJ
Detail geek all day 🔥
Cool I am glad to see people restoring cars that are not collectible. All old cars need love.
If he is going to restore, he should stay original in color
I know you’re a guy and probably don’t care to use it but you should invest in some professional protective equipment to protect your skin and face from bacteria and dirt you come across. I’m sure sometimes water splashes on your face and gets on your clothes, which could be really bad for you. You should wear like a type of waterproof overalls and facemask along with your gloves maybe some clear protective eyeglasses
Lol your skin acts as a protective barrier against dirt and bacteria, thats all unnecessary.
Women
@@brodeyalban8919 yes I am thank you for noticing
Don’t gotta start it with “I know you’re a guy” lmao
@@williamgelfand644 the reason I started it like that was because most men don’t care about using gloves and face shields to protect themselves from the chemicals and stuff like that
Love the subtlety in story telling... "What's cool is this old parking pass from 1988. What's not cool is the owner lost part of his finger."
I've been waiting all week for this!
OJ Simpson made it to Canada?!
Hi Mitch, sometimes I wonder is it really worth it, its not worth the effort it seems like you're trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, yeah its clean and better than it was but really!!!😘🥵💕👍👍
whoa
Great job as always.
Who ever did this to this bronco needs to see jail time!
Watching this at 3am in the Uk. It’s very satisfying! Have to say, testament to the original build quality when you see how well she cleans up!
A very good job like always!!!!
Congratulations!!! ❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Your work ethic alone is what makes the outcomes of the vehicles what they are. Very few people with work ethic like that exist anymore! Thank you for showing that hard work, elbow grease and enthusiasm to actually work is still out there. 😊
Definitely need more of these classic cars getting detailed. Great job.👍
Gonna be a good one!
All I can say mitch is wow what a amazing transformation 👏
For the restoration jobs will there ever be an update on the finished product. Maybe a detail after it's done. Would be cool to see what the owners did to the cars and how they look all fixed up.
I'd love to be able to do that! Will definitely try for the Mustang as the others are years away haha
Those old school vehicles were built like tanks! They sure could withstand anything. Hope the new owner has fun restoring the Bronco.
Sitting for 20 years kept this from the crusher. These are the videos I like.
So excited!!!!
When I bought my first pressure washer I went crazy and washed everything I own😂 It’s awesome.
Another job well done! Great transformation!
Thank you! 😊
I remember when you told me you didn't need to do barn finds or abandoned vehicles. Glad to see you adapted to what your viewers enjoy.
Nice work ❤
Hope the gentleman’s feeling better after the finger incident. To a good recovery to you sir @ this is a gorgeous car
It would almost be nice if Mitch could follow up after the restoration is complete
Great work Mitch! We need more appearances from Lord Mike.
I just started watching your videos, and what continues to impress me is how you neither get soaking wet or blow the water all over your shop. 😁
You are INSANELY AMAZING! Wow you have blown me away. I can't believe the transformation of this bronco. Its a beautiful truck.
What a great idea to clean a car before starting repairs. That way you can see all the things needing attention and it is an encouraging start.
I can only imagine how much crap is inside those doors. I'm sure that during the restoration, he will get in there.
I recently bought a 2013 E250, and I'm pretty sure the previous owner lived in the wood with the amount of dirt, leaves Nd pine needles I cleaned out of the fender corners right at the doors.
Well done!! For a very old vehicle that stood so long without wash. I am impressed. I am glad the owner is happy with the results.
Wow! What a transformation. The seat clean up was incredible 👏🏼
Morning Mitch, you're the best as always! Salute!
