    Considering the Bronco's age and how long it was sitting, it's in incredibly good shape. The fact that the engine isn't missing all of it's paint is amazing. Between my dad, my grandpa, and my uncles, I spent my entire childhood riding around in those old dent side Fords, so this Chevy boy loves them.

      My grandad had an old truck he called sarge. He and my grandma currently have a 1966 dodge charger sitting in their garage right now. They restored that car together along with some help from friends and family. They made an entire video about it. I was very young when they did it.

      Deffently some quality paint on this bronco. The rust parts and larger scratches aside, that paint was still amazing shape once cleaned up. I don't think the paint on many newer vehicles would hold as long.

    I was amazed with how the hood turned out. I was expecting a bunch of rust underneath all that goop on there.
    I'm also wondering if we'll ever see the results of any of these restorations. Too many times people have great intentions when they tackle a project such as these abandoned cars you have been detailing recently, but once they get into the process, they realize what a monumental task it is and abandon it once again.

    • @TheDetailGeek
      @TheDetailGeek  10 місяців тому +16

      Not going to lie...that's what I see happening with this one. Getting it running again is one thing, but to get it fixed enough to get safetied so it can even drive is another. Then actually getting it restored. It's a monumental amount of work for one person.....but I hope I'm wrong because it would really be a sweet ride all fixed up!

    I admire your ethic and attention to detail (pun intended). It's rare, in any generation, to find someone as meticulous and ingrained with a strong sense of pride such as you. Well done, young man. You've got a bright future. Conrats on being you! Cheers.

    I thought of guessing the Ford Bronco because of the similar appearance to the new model, and this video shows the classic Bronco! I can’t believe u made it like it was all fresh and a valuable SUV! Nice job Mitch!

    Blows my mind how indestructible cars were made back then compared to now. My Camry is only 3 years old and already has paint fading and dash issues. Nice job. Very satifying :)

    The colors are super cool! That particular one (Xanthoria) reacts with ammonia to produce a lovely pink dye that turns blue when exposed to sunlight

    Wishing the new owner a speedy recovery!
    And luckily that car was in Canada and not here in the Caribbean.. cause 20 years out in the open here, means it would be completely rusted and destroyed by the harsh sun and saltspray in the air

    I mean for how old the Bronco is and how much rust there is I’m actually shocked there is t more rust. It’s in really good shape for being a roughly 40 year old vehicle. Great work on getting this classic ride looking super sharp.
