what happen to the Flow Hive you bought ?
Pretty sure thats the flow hive
None of those are Flow Hives, Flow Hives are wooden but have the plastic frames for harvesting the honey.
But he propably just got rid of them, because i think he said he didnt like them.
It hasnt been long enough for him to harvest it i believe
All the bees have to get established in the brood box, the colony has to grow before he can add the honey super with the flow frames to get filled.

What brand of plastic bee hive do you use and are they better than the wood

Did you also set up the polystyrene hive? Could be amazingly insulating cause of all the air bubbles trapped inside the material.

Have you seen those flow hives? You can harvest the honey without disturbing the bees. They look sweet, you should review one Taras!

Good luck with those bees, but please seek a proper beekeeping mentor in your area. As entertaining as Taras' videos are, his beekeeping advice is... sadly questionable in some cases, and they are no substitute for proper instructions on caring for bees.
