Many people in Western Europe have no comprehension of what Belarus went through in WW2. The losses were horrific and hard to comprehend. I have shown the film Come and See to friends in the U.K. and they found it genuinely shocking, but that was how things were. Ukraine, Poland and Belarus were on another level in the horrors that went on in those dark times.
I rate Come and See (Idi i Smotri) as the greatest WW2 film I have seen. It is a genuinely horrific and moving piece of cinema and should be watched by as many people as possible. It is incredibly realistic and far more accurate than the many Hollywood fairy stories about WW2. We in the West simply cannot understand what these countries went through during WW2.
Thats because Hitlers plan was to genoicide all slavic people and turn eastern europe into a greater germany. Leibensraum. That wasnt the plan for western europeans who went jewish.
I'm a Hungarian and I'm proud to hear that our soldiers are protected the civilians. I planned to visit Belarus soon, I'll probably visit this village too. ❤🇧🇾🇭🇺
Thank you for bringing us, particularly in the current climate, this bit of history, history that gets overshadowed by larger global events..in 2023,it appears we still do not learn....
Fascinating video - great scenery too 👌

More to come!
Thats the hungarian spirit ,!
great video
Good vid!
Very beautiful trip.
Indeed Belarus lost 2.5 million in ww2. And when compare to usa+uk+france lost less than a 1 million you realize how much the war very costly for this country.
Interesting video a steady cam would be great. Too much shaking .
Interesting history
A nazi by any other name is still a nazi. Thanks for showing us real places instead of names on a map where such tragedies occurred to remind us of the present.
Very beautiful nature... 🎉😊👍🇧🇾 I from Belarus, Mozyr. And i love my motherland. But for now I live in USA 😮 Gomel Region maybe as Ohio, Pensilvanya 🇺🇲 Not bad weather and infrastructure 🎉👍
Beautiful skies. Do u have chemtrails
Hello my friends! I thought for a sec it was Dima from Military Summary channel who lives in Bellarus.
No Bradley Square in Zadubye.
Thanks for the WW2 history Partizan
Honey wake up, Irish partizan just dropped a new vid
😍
Have you been to Khatyn?
Yes I have. I was there about 5 years ago. Very sombre place.
Pity to see the big old tree in the middle of the cemetery cut down but otherwise an interesting village history.
The thin line between ANIMAL and Hu-Man ...
All human behavior is basic animal instinct with fancy words.
Amazing videos. It is possible for an American to visit Belarus these days? I won't be picked up by any secret police? As there is no embassy....
I just addressed your question in my latest video.
@@IrishPartizan wow thank you so much, I'm honored. Ok thanks for the info, I speak passable Russian so I would really love to travel there, and anywhere in the Russian world. And you are right that one is much safer there than in any city in America; the crime rate is out of control, robberies are up 250% in some neighborhoods in Chicago where I live. It's pure chaos. Less than 5 percent of crimes result in convictions.
This guy is having a police belt rope around his neck. What a hell?
Visiting Mozyr in future?
Have already been there. Check the library.
I come from Sam`s Russian Adventures.
Welcome aboard.
Guys, be correct. [belaru:S^n]
So, those Nazis ? Where have they come from? What language did they speak ? 🤔
Great idea of showing us historical parts of Belarus. Instead talking about your false love of the system you have an oportunity to showing us something of real value as in this example mass killings of local popularion during wwii and thats objectively actually informative.
What's "false love" about giving a factual and objective account of what is happening in Ukraine within the wider picture of US/UK agenda of global imperial hegemony?
@@IrishPartizan false love means your not objetive look at atrocities of communistic system of USSR and Belarusian part of it and claiming happines of local population living in this paradise
@@mykura2018 The 'Holocaust Denial, double genocide theory' here so beloved of both liberals and the reactionary Right in 3.....2....1.
@@IrishPartizan you dont even know history of the place youre talking about. I suspect you just want to score Belarusian female to multiply and thats your main reason for "love of Belarus" Anyway do more videos of such places as this one because of scarce of such videos in English
@@mykura2018 Thank you for your feedback. Your wish is my command. More hotties 👩❤️👩 and history.
