Because Belarus never sold off their industrial base, I really enjoy watching your videos on factories, farms, and the economy of Belarus.
Hoping for some Dzyarzhinsk! I hate to hear the channel is winding down. Your videos are a lot of fun 🍻
Good morning from Utah, brother.
I really enjoy this kind of videos. Good job!
Good to see you and a new video from you. I’ll look forward to the new provincial travel videos. Those sweets looked great and I always appreciate a visit to the Wall of Hotties there 😁
I work in Irish rail (CIE) on the trains tracks. Didn’t expect to hear you speak about the railway in Ireland 😅 you caught me off guard. Also really liked seen the biscuit factory 🏭. Great video
sell everything and leave the working class life that you have there, where with even 3,000 euros / month you live worse than Belarussians who earn 600 euros / month, without even seeing the sun for half a year, and move to a former soviet union (you can choose; sunny Georgia or Black sea Russia, colder and darker but safer and ultrapolite Belarus or Saint Petersburg), where with 200.000 eur you will live better than you have ever lived in your life, surrounded by beautiful girls and without even have to work next 20 years. Even an engineer with a good salary living in a nice house in one of the nicest parts of Europe like me is seriously thinking about doing it.
Wait , Ireland has trains also ?? 😂😂
😂 I think most country’s have trains
Cheers from Edmonton Alberta.
I'm also from Edmonton
Missed you man, keep posting more videos 😁
Thank you so much for your very respectful and encouraging stories. I would love to see number 15 to 17 redarmy street in Loyew (outside of Gomel).
I have family history there.
Have a great vacation, comrade! Looking forward to seeing your new footages👌

Some healthy food for the entire week!
Great video Niall as always !
I love you my Irish Partizan brother ❤
Greetings from my Journey in Poland, Niall.

Excellent video. Interesting that Belarus kept their industrial base. Wise move.👌
It would be lovely to see a flax/linen factory. or a vyshyvanka factory/shop.
Merde and pauvete, I love it
Amazing choice of biscuits
Hello from Kilkenny good info on your grandfather always thought you had a bit of a blaa accent makes sense now keep up the great videos
SŁODYCZ is a Polish term for sweets.
so is in Belarusian :)
@@crafter-grafter007 Our languages are very close. We keep same heroes in high esteem, like Adam Mickiewicz, born in Zaosie near Nowogródek..

Спасибо за совет.
New subscriber from Ireland! Cool videos… are there Irish bars/ GAA clubs in Belarus?😂
Yes there are 'Irish' bars.
All those cookies and cakes. Your will power must be ironclad!
Seen any wagner guys?
No, not yet but if I do I'll let you know. 😁

According to the media the Wagner troops are based in Asipovichy. A friend of mine lives there and she's not seen any of them.
Q&A soon please
Appreciate the Waterford v Tramore shoutout being from Tramore.
main entry to factory shop for customers and no parking spaces for cars :)
A shop by the factory is called outlet.
Irish party zone😊
Hi Niall. On your next provincial trip, can you visit Asipovichy? It's my favourite place to visit in Belarus but due to the sanctions getting there is very expensive.
I was there about two years on my way to Slutsk and tbh, It was meh!
@@IrishPartizan Did you explore the town and surrounding areas much? I think I have an attachment to it as I was only 17 years old when I first visited
Gastsinets means treat
The wall of hotties! As Bald would say
Bet you’re missing Kimberley, mikado and coconut creams Niall 😂
lm not sure what you meant, are you closing down your channel soon ?
Ah you would miss a pack of Kimberley and a star bar or two 🇮🇪☘️🇮🇪😬
Is it an old factory? Also is everything in the shop produced in the factory?
Slodych can trace their roots back to the early 20th century. They have been at their current site since the late 80s.
@@IrishPartizan always in Belarus?
I’m going to visit Minsk but I don’t want to fly via turkey. I think I’ll wait for their western border to open. Unless I go to turkey for a holiday then I’d fly.
couple weeks off is enough time to at least visit one Balkan country properly, like the great Serbia ;)
it seems like a lot of mud flooded buikldings
I really enjoy your blogs Bill.Pls don't
sop@
stop!
Niall
So what will happen too your channel?
I will stop someday.
Not many recent videos
@@IrishPartizanyou have a wealth of knowledge irish partizan. Thank you
So are you leaving Belarus and ending your channel ?.
No.
what is your job, if not a secret? I am seriously thinking about the possibility of moving to Russia or Belarus in the future, and it is interesting to know practical things like this. I work online, so I would not need a job there. I am planning to start learning Russian this autumn. A few years married to my Russian ex wife and some Rus and Ukr girls I dated, but I did't have much time to study Russian, and not much interest frankly.
8 - 15 years ago many Rus and Ukr girls were interested in moving to Western Europe and Russia and Belarus was worse than Western Europe. Now those times are over...the situation has completely reversed. I see absolutely nothing even in the considered nicest countries in Europe (Italy, France, Spain) better than in Sochi area for example... absolutely everything is worse.
Bad idea, war :( Slavic kill slavic
Don't be ridiculous, russia is in self destruct mode and there is no stopping it, there are so many western wingers on UA-cam channel saying how great russia is and how they want to go there! You have NO idea what you're talking about, it's actually pathetic 🤷
He is an English teacher .If you can work from anywhere why not go somewhere hot all year .
@@anthonydowling3356 Sochi area is the black sea area of Russia, weather and nature exactly as in the south of France, that is in my opinion the most attractive place of all former soviet countries, and where I would like to spend some long periods of the year, working online.
Winter in places like Saint Petersburg or Belarus would be hard for me being from Spain, but I like that Belarus seems even safer and people more polite than Russia, and easier to get residence permit, so it's a great option in spring-summer.
And the main reason why I would live in such countries, and I suppose the reason of 90 % of Western men who live there, is because of women. My ex-wife is Russian :). I also like their ideology and cheap prices, if you can live there with a Western job / salary.
@@jorllx A lot of Eastern European women marry for money and a Western passport .Was that the case with your ex-wife ? Are you going to repeat that mistake ? .Never heard of Sochi .I must look it up .I prefer Asian women myself ,but they also are looking for somebody to take care .They are not looking for love ,in a lot of cases .
Whats it like living in a country that openly represses democracy?
You mean the USA?
@@IrishPartizan Even with morons like Trump gaining power in the US it’s still more democratic than Belarus. How long has the dictator Lukashenko been in power? I’m not trying to troll here genuinely curious.
Is there any news on Raman Pratasevich ,
The journalist who was on the Ryanair flight that was forced to land in Belarus May 2021??
kept in prison until May this year when he was sentenced to eight years because he didn't believe that having a president in power for 29 years is a good thing,
But in belarus they bake cheap biscuits, so that's absolutely fabulous
If you think that way then I guess all countries openly repress democracy some people can live well with it and focus on other things.
@@Svetlana-says-it-as-it-is. yeah that is true but the extent of the repression varies massively between say Belarus and Ireland. If you cant acknowledge that we may end this conversation.
Sad that you are an apologist for a brutal dictatorship. Lukashenko is Europe's last dictator. Does that bother you? Apparently not. And Lukashenko's facilitating Putin's criminal invasion of Ukraine makes Belarus complicit in that war. And you too unless you disassociate yourself from it. But that might be.... inconvenient.
You would miss the cheap food and beer?
I bet you wouldn't say that if I was living in the US.
